Our first time and we liked it! We ordered a California Burrito and street tacos (al pastor and with shrimp). Taste very good and excellent service. We definitely try again.

I've driven past this place several times and finally decided to stop with my kids. I am so disappointed. There is no flavor to any of the dishes we ordered. We ordered supreme nachos, quesadilla, carnitas tacos, and rice and beans.Mexican style bbq tacos - Carnitas, that were so dry that even the small container of sauce was not enough to make one taco wet. No flavor in tacos, no flavor in onions or cilantro. I was told it was fresh but not one piece of pork was juicy or tasted fresh.IRice that looks soaked in orange soda, no flavor. It was more scary eating it. Refried beans that look like hummus. I truly don't want to be disrespectful, but I am very disappointed and wish I could get my money back. I will gladly spend $50 on good food, good fast food. But this wasn't even that. Pictured is the exact amount of hot sauce given for three tacos.

Legit So-Cal tacos really close to home. We had an all-in burrito - ordered chicken but got steak - good nonetheless - but we wanted to try the chicken. Also ordered a steak quesadilla which was good but I would've preferred more cheese and then just meat vs. tomatoes and other stuff. The Mexican street corn was really good! Would easily drive past Moe's, La Nope, and TJ Flats for this place. Will be back try try their tacos and sandwiches soon. #SupportLocal

Bottom line: tasty, fresh Mexican food--probably the best these California natives have had in Jacksonville. My wife and I shared the carne asada fries, and the kids had a chicken quesadilla with beans and rice. Also, the owner (very friendly and personable) treated us to a cheese quesadilla with queso sauce. Lastly we had their house made horchata. It was all quite tasty. Ingredients tasted fresh, not a lot of fat in the meat like a number of other Mexican restaurants we've tried, and the horchata was excellent. It's a food truck, so it was outside seating. They keep the area clean, though, and they have an umbrella for shade and/or rain, so altogether it was a great experience. The prices were a little higher than we're used to with Mexican food, but the portions are generous, so we're happy campers. Will definitely be back.

Previous 5 star review. It's been about 2 months since we have visited and this was our 5th time patronizing this food truck. The food used to be real solid. As a Houstonian, I think know good Mexican as I grew up eating that as a main staple for 25 years. Something has changed in the new year. Prices have jumped, I get that, and don't mind paying for good quality food.I got the Pork and Chicken Plate and Fiery Taco. My wife got the Chicken Quesadilla. The plate has changed, reduced the items in it to just meat rice and beans. The beans were an improvement but the rice and meat had declined significantly. The chicken was cooked well but lacked seasoning. The pork was extremely dry and overcooked. The rice had a weird taste and a pile of mush. The corn tortillas were rock hard. The hardly gave me any salsas. For the fiery taco, the steak was extremely chewy, gristly, and overcooked. The shrimp was cooked well but I don't think I even I got a full single small shrimp. The avocado has been reduced to a couple tiny pieces and not the adequate slices of before. I wouldn't pay more than $3-4 for this anywhere else, let alone the $6.50 they are now charging. The quesadilla was probably the best thing on the menu but I only got a nibble since it wasn't my order.Overall, a huge decline. No longer a go to spot. Food took 25 minutes with only one order ahead. The employees I am used to were not there tonight, so maybe it was the D crew in. They also took away the kids menu.Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to try to see if there is any improvement. I will have to stick to all the other sub par Mexican food Jacksonville has to offer, but maybe, just maybe a little tastier and consistent than this food truck. I hate to say it but maybe I'll have to revisit Don Juan's which was a tragedy of a restaurant.
