Famous Sandwiches

With all love I write these wordsThis is a hole in the wall joint for sure, but in all the best ways. This place hums like a well oiled machine, they move the crowds through fast while serving delicious food.They have a huge menu from full breakfast's, breakfast sandwiches, burgers and the fantastic steak-in-a sack. The food is always cooked fresh to order, hot and well seasoned and great service!The line for drive-thru is often 5 cars deep, but that's a good sign and trust us, it's definitely worth the wait. I recommend this establishment

I swung through this drive thru during lunch one day based off proximity, price, and prior ratings. They were not wrong, y'all. I drove straight up to the speaker, told her I hadn't been there before. She suggested the Steak in a Sack and I went for it. It comes w grilled onions, and I added mayo, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Next time I'll skip those (chz was ok, basically American, the L&T were messy and didn't add much IMHO).The pita was super fresh, the fries (I got mine seasoned) were piping hot. It was delicious. My only beef was that the drink that came with (I got 1/2&1/2 tea, tasty) was maybe 20oz and a bit small, I thought. Overall, great lunch spot n

I've been coming to this location, on and off, for the last 25 years since I was in high school. Nothing about this place has changed - and that's a good thing! After all these years, staff has always been fast and friendly. The food has remained consistent and delicious. They have had the same menu items the entire time, why fix something that isn't broke?I recommend coming here for any meal, and I suggest the sacks. They do not disappoint!

Ever since I've had a burger from here a couple months ago I stopped going to the Sheik. Not only is Famous Sandwiches more reasonable priced. The burger and fries are just overall better. The steak sub is great as well. Never had an issue with customer service.

Decent little sandwich shop good quick service we go all there all the time for lunch

I came into Famous Sandwiches for a quick lunch and found a friendly, down to earth staff offering food at an inexpensive price point in extremely humble surroundings.This food is nothing fancy, not by any means, but it is good and a good place to grab a cheap lunch. I opted for the grilled chicken pita combo (with a drink and fries, I asked if I could swap out coleslaw for the fries, but was told I couldn't). The grilled chicken pita was easy, but a decent sandwich (since it is on pita, does it qualify as a sandwich? Since the place has sandwich in its name, I am going with it). The french fries were a bit weak, but I have had worse.Famous Sandwiches offers an alternative to fast food and a good one for the price point.

This place is FANTASTIC! Every once in awhile I treat my classmates to meals and they return the favor. This morning a classmate brought me in breakfast as I had bought her and a couple others pizza last week- let me tell you- THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!! It's my new go to breakfast place now. I had a breakfast sandwich, grits and an orange juice. All I can say is D-D-DAM. The egg and cheese sandwich was killer. Hash brown was killer. Grits were killer. Definitely recommend their food.

Discovered this place due to my daughter's proximity to her house. Kind of hole in the wall place but I saw how much traffic it was receiving so I thought I would try it out. Went through the drive through because the parking is pretty tight. I tried the Camel Rider Combo with seasoned fries and a Cherry Limeade. The sandwich has bologna in it which was a surprise. I was thinking steak and onions, but honestly tasted pretty good. Beware if you don't like raw onions because it had some in every bite. It also had what tasted like Italian dressing which made the sandwich. The fries where hot and fresh especially with the seasoning salt. They ask if you want it sprinkled on. And you can't go wrong with a Cherry Limeade.

I went to famous this morning for fried pork chop with grits and eggs & toast and eat their all the time but I was disappointed with the pork chop it was burnt and looked and smell old I will still eat there but stick to the breakfast pita

100% the best sandwich shop I've ever been to, everybody is so nice and the food is so good. Service was perfect, the ambiance is cozy. Would eat here every day 100/10
