Fair Foods

We recently found this little place in Waldo, FL. The menu is mostly deep fried foods like you would find at a food truck at the fair (suggests the name!). I am on a low salt diet, so I can only have it on the rare cheat day. But a couple of things are worth the cheat. The deep fried Pork Chop is tender and moist. The deep fried Oreos are possibly the best way to eat an Oreo ever invented!While I am restricted, my daughter is in love with this place. The menu has most of her favorite foods ever. When she found out about the different foods they make she literally started to salivate. I have never before seen this real of a reaction.This place would especially apeal to families with children. A great way for Grandpa and Grandma to spoil the grandchildren!

I love the quality of the food and the absolute ease of stopping at this roadside food stop. The Italian sausage was the best I've ever eaten. Menu is huge... open 11:00 am to 9 pm. Cold drinks, ice cream, snow cone and peculiar to Florida.. a lemon shakeup. Food took a little longer than a fast food restaurant as the owner said he would make it as fast as he could but it tastes like home cooking so worth the wait!. Am from Maui, Hawaii ... wish we had a place like this. At roadside, shaded outdoor seating. Clean restroom. Definitely the place to stop when travelling.

We stopped on our way through. It is a nice place with homemade food. A lot of fried foods. The name made me think it was a health food restaurant, haha, I was wrong. We are vegetarians and we did order the French toast and the eggs as this was our only choices. It was delicious. Kids would live this place. The bathroom is clean and well appointed.
