As a family we used to eat here at least 3 times a week, and now we haven't been happy with the food quality or taste the last 3 times we have eaten there, what a shame from top to bottom in our opinion

Quaint restaurant. Waitress was good and the hostess was very polite. Starting with homemade chips and salsa that are great then dinner of chimichanga, burritos, tacos and rice bowls that are amazing...love this place

We are Mexican and Tex Mex junkies. We came upon this place with a gps search and we're glad we did. Actually it didn't come up on the search, maybe to new, gps hasn't been updated in a while. Two other restaurants came up but both were closed. Lucky for us. Plenty of parking, the decor is fantastic, and the food is creative, fresh , and very good. If you are looking for standard fare Mexican food, large portions, heavy on the cheese this may not be your place. But I would encourage you to try it anyway. Our server was Christina, upbeat, helpful, attentive and not hoovering. Ann had a burrito that was delicious I had tacos very good. The sides put this place over the top to a 5 star review. I could make a meal of the Mexican rice and the refried beans. Not sure how they built such flavour into the refried beans but they were the best I have ever had and I have had many. Ann said the Margaritas were great. We sat in the booths that were built in and very comfortable we were eyeing the patio seating and will try that next visit, oh yes we will be back. Heads up if you want to have Christina to serve you make your stop evenings or weekends. We might see you there.

First off, not 1 member of the staff is wearing a mask or gloves. The place was empty when we arrived so we figured it would be ok. Within minutes of placing our orders the place filled up. Apparently masks are not a thing in Trenton as we were the only ones wearing one. Not one customer entered the restaurant with a mask.We had the shrimp taco/enchilada combo and Diablo burrito. Both were very tasty. Both meals had some heat. Chips & salsa were fresh and appear to be home made. Lack of safety measures in this time of pandemic drops the rating from 4 to 1.

First the good: Food is well seasoned and flavorful. The variety and options to change the protein source is great. The green rice is so good, order extra.Now the not so good: We've ordered from them several times and our order has never been correct....not once. We like our Chimichanga's extra, extra crispy and most of the time they are darn near soggy. most of the time the sides are lukewarm to cool, not very appetizing. We've always ordered take out and even during the very worst of covid-19, they were not wearing gloves or masks. It makes me wonder if food prep sanitation measures are being met.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time visiting this restaurant. Queso is as thin as water. The salsa is thicker than water but actually taste like water. I know times are tuff right now but to nickel and dime you . If I visit a Mexican restaurant I don't expect to be charged for the hot sauce . I've been a few times and every time I visit it reminds me why I go elsewhere . Today was the last visit.

We didn't know what to expect walking in - there's a drive thru coffee window outside and we weren't sure what type of place we were walking into but we're feeling adventurous. The young servers were friendly and the food was good. The taco meal was filling and the chipotle chicken salad was terrific.

LEGIT. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You will not be disappointed. Everything from the fresh chips & salsa to the donkey burrito was incredible. Service was on point too. For "small town USA - they've got their A game dialed in. You can thank me later.

Food gets worse every time they offer a new entree. The person who comes up with these recipes thinks they are Tex-mex. Having been raised up in that part of the country, I can assure you that they are not. If you are looking for avant-guard food that remotely resembles Mexican, then this place might be for you. Don't go here if you are expecting authentic Mexican food.

Elle Cocina has good food, service and the building is quaint. I like the fajitas the best but the chicken burrito is good, too. you get like to of options for sides. The Mexican street corn is delicious.
