El Supremo Taqueria - A Hidden Gem You Don't Want to Miss!Keep your eyes open because if you blink, you'll miss this amazing spot! El Supremo Taqueria is more than just a restaurant--it's an experience. Nestled inside a Mexican store, the grill is tucked away in the back, but trust me, it's worth the find.Ordering at the front counter is part of the charm, giving you time to browse their selection of authentic products. One of the highlights? A thermo chest up front filled with freshly prepared warm tortillas--after trying these, I'm officially done with store-bought!The cashier was incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Now, onto the food: we went all in with a variety of tacos--birria queso, fried and BBQ shrimp, al pastor, steak, and my absolute favorite, the steak and shrimp. Every bite was packed with flavor, fresh, and made to order. These tacos are addictive--there's no way you can eat just one! They also offer burritos, quesadillas, and platters, and the refried beans were absolutely perfect. The food, the vibe, the tortillas--it all makes El Supremo a must-visit. This is definitely a do-again, and again, and again!

We live on this side of town and were overjoyed to see a Mexican market. We weren't sure if they served food here but so happy they do! Upon walking in, the market was very clean, bright, and there were so many things! You can buy produce, chips, fresh salsa, meats, and even baked goods! They even have Mexican candies, juices, snacks, sauces, etc. It was like a heaven for me! I enjoyed picking out some candies from here! We love Mexican food and decided to head to the restaurant portion of the market to try a few things. We tried:Elote - 9/10 - I am obsessed with corn and this has got to be one of the best elotes I've ever tasted. It was covered in mayo and topped with tajin and cojita cheese with the lime on the side. If you never had elote, you're missing out! Fresh corn on the cob with tajin, cheese, and fresh citrus from the lime? What can go wrong? The flavors were blended beautifully and I finished the cob in 5 minutes (no joke!)Cantaloupe juice - 7/10 - I love fruit juice and this melon juice was yummy and delicious. However, it may have been been mixed from a powder because I had a semi artificial aftertaste but I could be wrong. It was still good but I felt it was missing that fresh melon taste. Birria taco- 6.5 - I wanted to love this taco so bad and it looked so good! But the taco tasted a little bland needed some salt. The consume that came with the taco was also lacking in seasoning. The taco were a good size and filled with the birria stewed beef, cheese, and toppings but it all tasted like nothing. Even the acid from the lime didn't help much. Al pastor and lengua tacos (sliced pork shoulder and tongue) - 8/5/10 - these tacos were both delicious and we could taste the seasonings on them very well! They were savory and both cuts of meat were tender and juicy. They had onions and cilantros on top and we loved the freshness and brightness of the veggies with the meats! Would absolutely get these again!Stewed oxtails with mixed rice and beans - 9/10 - my husband enjoyed this entrée very much. The oxtails were tender and fell off the bone and the flavor reminded us of a Filipino dish called Menudo. Where it's meat stewed in a tomato based sauce with carrots and potatoes. The oxtails were fatty, rich in flavor, and the sauce was hearty. The rice was full of flavor and the beans were delicious as well. They give you homemade tortillas on the side and oh my my gosh! it has got to be one of my favorite items here! The tortillas were grilled so you get that slight char taste and they were fresh. You can tell that they were not store bought but actually homemade. Dipping the tortillas in that sauce was a game changer! We are beyond excited that we are now able to have fresh, authentic Mexican food on our side of town! We plan on coming here to enjoy other items and purchase more goodies! Definitely a place to check out if you're on this side of town! The prices were reasonable too!

Yummy! Walking to Subway to get my daughter lunch, I happened to see El Supremo occupying the same plaza. As I entered the market, I saw a small window where orders were coming out along with a couple of tables and chairs. I found the menu at the checkout counter. We ordered three street tacos - carne asada, al pastor, and chorizo - along with a quesabirria specialty taco. We weren't sure what to expect but we were surprised in a great way! This food was excellent! The meats were tender and seasoned and the Quesabirria taco had a great cheese pull and wonderful comsomme that they managed to get great flavor in!I highly recommend this market/corner store/restaurant!

Finally came in to try it. Seemed normal mexican market place with a restaurant inside. There were only two 4 seater tables huddled in a back corner. There were high tops without stools available. Restaurant orders were plentiful, the market goods were a bit steep, more expensive than what I am used to in CA. Food was good, but prices were equally high for only getting 1 item. Almost $5 for one birria taco is wild. I may drop in again, but not many time soon.

Great food. I ordered a chicken Quesadilla and it was great. The pupusas are ok and the tacos are a must! The only downside is the sitting area. It's very small better to get the food to go.
