Egg Roll King

I ordered doordash from this place because I was craving Chinese food and sushi and lo and behold, what a wonderful combination that this restaurant has! I can't rate the atmosphere or the service as I have not been there but I can rate on the food:Lunch special: $8.95 (includes egg roll, white or pork fried rice)Sesame chicken: 6/10 - it came with pork fried rice. It honestly tasted like just greasy, oily, bland chicken with a fried batter. I didn't taste any sesame flavoring. The fried rice was good though. I don't like yellow fried rice so I appreciate them making fried rice with soy sauce. The bits of pork in it was good too.Chicken eggroll: 6/10 - nothing special. It tasted like nothing and despite putting lots of duck sauce on it, it was still bland. Tasted kinda odd.Bourbon chicken: 7.5/10 - I really loved this dish. The taste was there and I could taste the sweetness of the bourbon sauce with the chicken. Chicken wasn't dry and the vegetables were fresh as well. It came with the pork fried rice as an option and the entree all went together great!Sushi: They had a lunch special of like $16.95 for three rolls that includes miso or chicken w/mushroom soup. Dynamite roll: 3.5/10 - The dynamite roll has like salmon, cucumber, avocado and is deep fried. The oil that they used to fry the sushi roll in tasted really really old and the salmon was so fishy that I could only stomach one or two bites of the sushi roll. It was definitely a miss here. Even after dousing the sushi piece with eel sauce, its still wasn't pleasant.Shrimp tempura roll: 6/10: no flavor at all. It had that old oil taste to the shrimp tempura. Roll was a decent size. It had cucumber and avocado in it. The cucumber and avocado tasted fresh. It was the best out of the three rolls I had. Tuna roll: 5/10: the tuna itself was fresh but it had a very odd aftertaste to it. I couldn't pinpoint what it was but it didn't taste fishy, it just had some sort of weird taste to it. It could be the flavor of the sushi rice. It wasn't great but I could stomach it. Chicken broth mushroom soup: 7/10 - I loved the soup. It had a good amount of mushrooms in it and the flavor was really good. I loved the bits of tempura in the soup as well as it gave it a good flavor!Overall, would probably not order sushi from this restaurant again. The Chinese food was decent for the price. The sushi rolls were priced reasonably for their sizes, but the quality was lacking.

We eat here often and always receive huge portions and fresh food. My husband loves the hot and sour soup and I love the sweet and sour chicken combo. They are great about making our order correctly and ensure no onions are included. The one time we place a large order and an item was missed they made the missing item quickly and included a freebie (which was kind!).

Amazing! Did I say amazing! I love this place. The food was fresh and super tasteful. We ate here two time in a month and both times was consistently great. Some of the items we ordered included Orange chicken, honey chicken, and sweet and sour chicken. I was amazed at how perfectly cooked the rice was. The honey sauce blew me away into heavenly places. Lol Sorry I don't have more pictures. It was all too yummy. The only downside is prices have gone up, but right now all prices are pretty much.

This restaurant has closed up. No longer in business! It was OK Chinese food when it was open but I think covid caught up with them.

Decided to try a new delivery place. We ordered cheese rangoons, steamed dumpling's, wonton soup, and house lo mein. Everything was hot fresh and very tasty.

Honestly the best Chinese food place in OP. Always hot, always fresh. One of the only places where the fried rice actually has a flavor. Great portions, and great prices.

Ordered thru Grubhub. Delivery was about a quarter of what was estimated and the food which was sushi and seaweed salads was top notch. I am a seaweed salad lover so i always try it when on the menu, and i have to say this was the best i have ever had. First off it is on a bed of finely julienned cucumber that was so crisp and perfect. Then the seaweed was crisp and seasoned perfectly with a slight spice but not too hot and sesame seeds. . Well done Egg Roll King. I really enjoyed it.Pamela

Good service, but they stopped servind sushi but it it still on the menu and the display boards. For a business named Egg Roll King and Sushi, it is disappointing.

i love them. i work next door and they are the most amazing hard working people. theyre reasonable, respectful, respectable, and efficient. its a tiny little place with a huge heart. ive been down a dollar or two while working doubles and theyve allowed me to have a soda bc my sugar levels were low. i dont know many other people who would do that, and theyre forever in my debt to kindness.i hope for nothing but good will, positivity in their business and families. hopefully more people see how this cute little shop can make a big difference.picture: avocado w/cream cheese roll. my favourite!
