Edible Blessings

She came out for Food Truck Fridays at the Oakleaf Roundabout and at first, I wasn't going to get any desserts but then I decided, "Why not?'. I can't comment on the atmosphere as it was a food truck but the lady who owns it was beyond sweet, happy, friendly, cheerful, and wonderful! She apologized as she was short on a lot of items as she was a last minute addition to Food Truck Fridays (she took the place of a food truck that dropped out). She has so many desserts to choose from! From cupcakes, brownies, cakes, to banana puddings, she has them all! I really wanted to try her banana puddings (she has a strawberry one too!) but she was sold out! I'll catch her next time then! I got her banana pudding brownie and let me tell you, it was like a taste of heaven. You can taste the richness of the bananas in the brownies and the nilla wafers stayed crisp. Every bite was flavorful and I can taste the bananas in each bite. The brownie isn't like a traditional chocolate brownie but more so of a blondie. I never had a banana pudding brownie before and now, I cannot go without having one! I don't know how she does it but the brownie was moist and I didn't taste any artificial banana flavoring! She did tell me to nuke the brownie in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up. I did just that and it just melted in my mouth. I know she has a location near Lem Turner and if I'm in that area, I'll make sure to stop by and try other delightful goodies. The brownie was huge as well, bigger than the size of my palm for like $4.50. Overall, a solid place to get desserts!

The best desserts on this side of heaven. They did the cupcakes for my son's wedding and they were awesome. She does some custom cakes. I love everything I have tried so far.She is located in the Trout River Food Park.

I tried a slice of her lime cake and a few cupcakes that she had available.. the lime cake tastes more like flour and was missing the true essence of what a lime cake should taste like. The cupcakes looked delicious but were very dry and bland. Hopefully I can try her again and get a better batch.. but for now it's a hard no.

We ordered a cake for our kids 16th Birthday and some shooters. The cake was chosen from images provided by the baker. The total cost of the cake was $406 and $40 for the shooters with a delivery fee included. The cake was delivered to the venue prior to our arrival the shooters were not delivered. When we arrived we were shocked by the appearance of the cake. At this point we were waiting on our guest and there wasn't much we could do. We reached out to baker the next day and she asked what the problem was. She insisted that she had 98% success rate and sent pictures of other cakes which really didn't help our situation. She ultimately offered another cake and gave back $100. Do not recommend!!!!
