Eagle Landing Golf Club

What a rip off, I have watched the continuing price increase for pub food, and the decrease if service offered. The spineless response from management is zero and appear they could care less. We are part of a large network of golfers who have been playing here for years. Well, it is being reviewed as to weather or not to change golf courses after this last price increase.

I really liked this course. Wide open fairways meandering through nice neighborhoods. Very reasonable fees and each round includes 2 free beverages - soda or draft BEER! Yuengling or Miller Lite I believe. The course was in very good condition. They have a fantastic membership which runs about $36 a month for non residents and $26 for residents. That is unheard of around Jax! I believe this membership includes unlimited range balls and fees for each round are cart fees only. It also includes free golf clinics. The clubhouse was pretty nice for a public course. Perfect sized bar with dark wood accents throughout. Unfortunately the location doesn't work well for where I live. It's a trek for sure but definitely worth the drive a few times a year. If it were closer to home, I'd without a doubt be a member. Maybe other courses can learn from their marketing strategy. One can only hope.

I definitely would give this shit hole zero stars. Their food is absolutely flavorless and it was a true waste of time. What the fuck is their corned beef hash, with diced potatoes and dry corned beef flakes in it? Home cut fries? Nope. Tiny ass potatoes and their eggs were so bland I had to drown it in ketchup for some kind of flavoring. Definitely a terrible experience.

Decent track for golf, actually one of my favs in Jacksonvillle.The greens were slicker than snot...but we finally figured them out on 17...

I live in Julington Creek (NW Saint Johns County) and Eagle Landing is in the middle of nowhere west of Orange Park... so it was a bit of a trek to get to this golf course, but I have to say, it was worth it. Eagle Landing was a very enjoyable golf course. It wasn't too hard, but the length added to the challenge. The conditions were really nice. All the tee boxes had nice, well maintained, grass. The greens were super fast, which also added to the difficulty. It's a beautiful course. Very nice scenery. The club house is similar to a much more expensive club. They have a nice full bar. Full restaurant. Fully stocked pro-shop. The bar/restaurant has very nice outdoor seating that looks out over the 18th green. Added bonus... The cart girl makes a mean bloody mary, including hot sauce, wustershire, and fresh cracked pepper! I'll certainly play this course again.

The price is low, the quality and taste is high, servers kind, highly recommended as this is a great combination.

I give the food five stars. Avoid the college age servers, too busy gabbing with friends. The dollar value, compared to equitable courses is a two. Recent price increases are going to off set the enjoyment of the course, for this fixed income military retiree. For that price, I would expect a better practice area. Chipping green and possible a bunker. The course has several bunkers that are well kept. The fairways invite big swingers. The greens run true and fast. Carts are a bit tired, however noticed many players were using personal carts. That may have been a factor. I will return, however, much less often with the recent price increases.

The golf course itself was nice, but the experience was not. Starter was rude to guests. The course was absolutely filled. It took almost 2 hours and 45 minutes to finish the front nine with all the groups they let out. Had enough waiting at hole 10 and called it a quits early after waiting 15minutes to tee off. Happy to say I won't be coming back and recommend Eagle Harbor right up the road instead.
