This is a hard review because I'm having to compare to the area because As a coffee shop in general or Cuban cafe it's like 1-2 stars but considering the area and who they cater to it's like 3-4 but then I take the quality of flavor of the coffee and the traditional cafe con leche and it's just not there then I had a cortado and it was like lava which was to burn your taste buds so the actual flavor of coffee could not be tasted it was like a dirty water coffee. Even my Chicago friends didn't like and others preferred driving the distance to the Seattle coffee shop The croqueta was ok not the best but not worst. I was able to eat it. The tres leche apparently was amazing. I didn't try but my friends said it was what they would go backFor. Also the sandwiches were ok from what I was told by others.

We generally make an annual winter pilgrimage to Florida to sit by the ocean. Part of this year's leisurely drive back to GA, we found the Dulce de Leche Cafe. It boasts authentic Latin cuisine (Cuban, Mexican) and is right on A1A. Parking is sparse, but it's worth it. This little gem has been open for about a year and based on comments from other diners, is the real deal. We put in our order and were startled by how quickly the food arrived. My order was the "Masitas de cerdo combinación" combo, DH had the Cuban sandwich combo. My pork was unctuous fried heaven that was expertly accompanied by rice beans and fried plantain. DH loved his so much looked up from his food once he started. I'd love for them to be open when we return next season, so I encourage you to go and give them a try.

Stopped by because I wanted to be guarantees if a good cup of Cuban coffee as I was driving through. Ocean view nice cozy shack dated but clean food was really good!

So last weekend I went to Arroz con Leche in Holly Hill, the same family owns Dulce De Leche. The food was amazing, my daughter got a burrito platter, I got the Chicharrón platter. All of it was great! We both got Cafe con Leche, very good. The restaurant is peaceful, food was made quickly and very fresh. The white rice is delicious. I will be back there for sure. They are wonderful people and I'm glad they have so many locations!

Amazing little place! If you are ordering online for pick up please note that the restaurant does not receive the tips. Better to tip in person.We got the Ropa Vieja and the Masitas de cerdo (pork), both were amazing! Cute restaurant with a view of the ocean. Delicious and the staff is great! If we are back in the area this is a must visit.

We finally stopped by the modest cafe and got Cuban sandwiches, which are very good. We are a fan of the Cuban sandwiches and used to have a favorite place that we drove to Daytona for but closed. In our quest to replace with the best Cuban in the Flagler, Daytona, Ormond, Smyrna restaurants, Dulce de leche won! We also got a piece of tres leche cake and it was yummy too!
