Donner Park

Great little park hidden away in Atlantic Beach. Nice playground, tons of shade, and a free splash pad that's open in the summer.

This is a park tucked deep in Mayport but it claims to be Atlantic Beach?!? Anyway it has lots of family friendly opportunities for locals. We had to use our GSP to find bc it is well hidden. Once here I was surprised all that it had to offer! They had a well constructed community center though closed now, , I guess you can read it?!I They had basketball courts, lots of pickleball courts (all being used), swings/monkey bars, etc, big multi-purpose field which our pack of 8 year old boys and girls were playing kick ball in and loving it. There is green space too where we had sack races, tug of war....you reserve (or rent) a pavilion where we had our food, drinks, cake etc. Like I said it's a very nice park and well used. One thing was the restrooms, they could be updated.

AND COOLEST THING IS ..... A FREE bad to the bone skateboard park.Has multi level bowls and curves with bleacher seating and gap shoots.Helmet is required to skate but free to do so at own risk.

I've been going to this park since my children were small and played softball. They always loved going here and I miss them being small whenever I'm there.
