This place seems to have made slot of improvements over the past year. I've been twice this past week. The food has been awesome. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back

Took 10 Minutes to get a drink order and ordered queso. Drinks came out and our server took a large party's drink order. He brought their drinks and the food runner brought out their queso. We stopped the server and ordered queso again. 5 minutes later a very small bowl of queso appears. We had ordered a large bowl. The food runner returns with an oven mitt carrying the large bowl of queso. The queso was Ice cold. Asked for hot queso. Server took our bowl of queso and put it in the microwave (same bow of queso returned hot but clearly microwaved). Large party ordered and got their food before we were asked if we were ready to order. Tacos asada with a side of rice and chicken fajitas were ordered. Tacos were very lacking. Rice tasted days old. Fajitas were naked chicken and veggies. Absolutely zero seasoning was used. The refied beans had to be the tastiest part of the meal and even those were watery and not pleasant. This is our girls' night go-to but we will be searching for a new place after this experience. $68 of the blandest, tasteless, trash food. Sad I had to pack it to go and season it myself when I got home. Avoid this place if you like Mexican food with flavor and good service.

Amazing service by one of the new servers (I wish I got his name)! I ordered a drink that he recommended, a queso birria, and a shrimp cocktail. Service was phenomenal and our server was so sweet! The chips and salsa was pretty good--not too spicy, not too watery. Queso birria was a little salty but it was pretty decent. Shrimp cocktail was very sweet but nonetheless still great! The drink was sweet and they know how to pour their liquid! It was empty when we went on a Saturday at 3:00 which was very quiet and nice. Choice of music was great!

Bland food overall. The atmosphere walking in was nice because of the hand painted tiles on the waterfall style fountain. The standard chips and salsa were offered. Chips were thicker and almost stale but the salsa was good. BOGO margaritas were good. I ordered fajitas and they were boring. I think they are afraid to add any spices. Thank the Lord for Cholula. My husband ordered the Special Burrito and he said the same. Flavorless. The seats and the floor and the table were all sticky as if they had been barely wiped with a dirty rag. The waiter was also the host and he seemed on his game. He was pleasant and attentive. We live local and definitely won't be back. Well unless someone else pays, and even then we will try to sway them to San Jose's. One star for the salsa and margaritas. We tipped the waiter well. I'd keep scrolling for another option with more flavor.

Our favorite Mexican in the entire Eastern US. At least the ones we've ate at (and we've ate at a lot). You gotta try the frozen boss margaritas!! And do it on the 2 for 1 day!! But have someone to drive ya home! Haha!The food is excellent!! Sometimes service isn't super fast...but cmon, it's a different world we live in and people just won't work. I think they do awesome considering. Most places don't even care anymore, but I feel that they give it their best here.Stop in and give it a try! I don't think you'll be disappointed

Nothing bad to say about this place. I ordered the chicken quesadilla fajita. Kind of like trying the fajitas and quesadillas at the same time. Lots of fajita stuffing in the quesadilla. Made it hard to eat like a quesadilla, but it was good with a fork nonetheless. I also ordered the white queso dip to go with my chips which were fresh and very good. I really liked the salsa. The queso was fantastic. The service was attentive and on point.

Great food great atmosphere great service. There homemade salsa Perfect. Second time here they don't disappoint.

Love the chicken fajita taco salad. Be sure to try their special holiday margarita while they still have them.

Food is great. Very reasonable prices. Make sure that your server understands your order as many of the servers only speak a little English. Take that into account as I still rate this a 5 Star restaurant.
