Huge and flavorful jumbo shrimp! L(*‿*)VED the Shrimp Fajitas @ Don Eduardo Cocina Mexicana. #supportlocal
Taco Salad. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I wish it was filled to the top as the shell is tall, ( *_* ) also needed more lettuce and tomatoes.
Piña Loka! Must try
These fajitas were so good.

Complimentary Chips and Salsa. L(・‿・)VED their salsa, not too moody/spicy especially on this oppressive afternoon.

We finished at the museum and we were looking for a new restaurant to try out and this really exceeded our expectations. From the outside, you would honestly think of not stopping here but once you walk in the restaurant is covered in beautiful decor with murals all over. We came here for lunch with our family on a Saturday. Service was great and server was attentive. We recommend:Drinks: Jamaica and MicheladaFood: -Enchiladas Verdes comes with 3 enchiladas topped with avocado and side of white rice/carrots-BTO Don Pana Burrito (no side included with the dish)They also have a kids menu and my little ones enjoyed it- Quesadilla with beans and rice-Taco with beans and rice I don't recommend the bacon wrapped Jalapeño just not good.

Service, decor - perfect! The only reason this place is getting 3 stars is because of the food. We loved the food options. Definitely had a lot of options showcasing delicious dishes of Mexican cuisine. We ordered wings as an appetizer that looked great and tasted great but it was kind of lukewarm when we bit into it. I also ordered the shrimp ceviche which I was super excited to try but could barely finish it as it was WAY too sour. All I could taste was the lime used to cook the shrimp and bits of mango. I even tried adding salt to it which help some, but was still too sour. It needed garlic, shallots, salt, and paprika to balance the tartness. However, I really liked the burrito. The rice was really seasoned well. The drinks though, were on point.

Oh we really enjoyed our dinner here! It seems like there are endless Mexican places popping up and each is a little different, this one seemed more upscale. It's decorated beautiful, dark with colorful pops around. Service was excellent! We were a big group and had no issues! Now to the food, so good! I love salty fresh combo, and they nailed it here! Also have to mention their house made salsa is SO good! Very flavorful with out being salty.Me and hubby split the Volcano Molcajete with was huge and filled with all the stuff, steak, chicken, big shrimp, with melted cheese everywhere, served with rice and beans really good!

Much different experience from the first time that I dined here which was approximately a year ago. The waitress was pushy about my party of four ordering soon but the restaurant was not busy . There was a misunderstanding on the billing in regard to an extra side of plantain that was ordered. After a while, the issue was rectified. My friends enjoyed the dishes but I don't have plans to come back due to the very uncomfortable dining experience.

This was such a fun spot! The quesadilla was HUGE and delicious. I loved that it came with a side of queso. The serive was great considering how busy they were on a Monday.

It was our first time here. Beautiful decor inside, Instagram worthy. Great for date night. Steak fajita was $23 but it was massive! Came out on a sizzling hot plate with generous portions of steak. Side of rice and beans. Plate of lettuce with cheese. I would order this again. It's a meal for 3 days. I would pass on the queso. It was $12 and nothing special. Too watery. We came on a Wednesday night and there were only 2 other tables besides us. It's a little concerning how empty this place is everytime I drive by. But is probably better suited in San Marco or Avondale.

Our first time at Don Eduardo's not knowing to expect. Friends did say they liked it. So we decided to give it a try. It was a Thursday night & not so busy, which I like. As soon as we were seated chips & salsa showed up at our table right away. The salsa was so tasty & chips were fresh. We ordered the Pollo Al si Señor with Cilantro rice & veggies. The 2nd dish was the Molé Enchiladas with Mexican rice. . Both dishes were sooo good. The meat was cooked just right. The molé a traditional Mexican sauce with chocolate was excellent & lightly spiced. Food & service were very good. The ambiance was chill. The decor was pretty. The Margarita on the rocks was better for me. We'll be back!

I am absolutely in love with the ceiling here. It feels festive and fresh. The food was well prepared and delicious. The steak in the Aztec tacos was a bit chewy, but overall it was what I was craving. Their black beans and rice were a huge improvement over the refried beans that most places serve.

I agree with some of the other reviews when I thought, great another Mexican place upon seeing this very trendy new restaurant. It's on the upper end price in price range and definitely geared toward photo ops and celebrations or special nights out/ date night. But man! The entree I got DID NOT disappoint. It came in a pineapple with great flavor on the chicken and steak. The Mexican street corn ornamentally shish kabob'ed on top was chefs kiss fantastic. The salsa was "edible" as my friend put it. Intriguingly dark- almost black. Black beans? Not too spicy. Not bad though.Margaritas were good! If they had a special I'd be happier but I suppose they are using nicer tequila than your typical house margaritas. Fun spot! And love the decor. Great service.

First thing I thought was "great another Mexican place" in the neighborhood. BUT what a great change from other offerings in the area. Don Eduardo's offering something better than the traditional Mexican you find in the area. Pros:* Great service* Great atmosphere * All the food was delicious * Great selection of dishes - several you will not find anywhere else in JacksonvilleCons:The only thing I could think about is that it could a little pricey when you get some of the specialty items like the Volcano Milanese. But I am looking forward to coming back and trying something new
