The Maine Lobster is Outstanding to put it Mildly ! If you close your eyes you can imagine being in Maine and the Lobster had just come off the Boat! The Lobster Rolls are Filled over the Top with Lobster! The Service is Outstanding and Very Friendly and the Aim to Please!The Ambiance Truly Adds to The Experience! It is Rustic in a Great Way to Put it Mildly!If You Love Maine Lobster You Must Visit ! Once You Do You will Come Back Again and Again!

Great concept for quick satisfying bites. You stroll in through the courtyard (that has outdoor seating). Then as you step up and in through the door you are met with a walk up counter. You place an order and they bring to your table. Very simple. Nothing Fancy. If you want to sit indoors the only drawback is having to go upstairs. This isn't ideal if you have stroller or disabled people on a cold or rainy day, but this is downtown St Augustine and the area wasn't made to accommodate such things back in the 1500's. There is a couple small tables near the order window. For the food: clam appetizer was the best thing we ordered. Also ordered a lobster claw over a bed of mixed greens. Dressing for this was just ok, but the clam juice on the clam app was amazing on the salad! Then we also got a kids fish basket-fried mahi and a dinner portion as well. They were both good, but mahi would not have been my choice. Unfortunately, there were no substitutions. They have a very set menu.

Little bit disappointed of the overall food , not bad but pricey for soup and tacos . Clam chowder was very thick and not enough clams . I had fish taco Two large soft tacos and the fish was good but coated and the sauce was not my style , wife had salad with chicken , chicken was coated and dressing wasn't her style So overall the food was just ok and pricey For older folks , the staircase to eat upstairs was a challenge You can eat outside but it was a cold day , that's why we wanted soup

DJ's Clam Shack is amazing in the keys and I didn't know they had other locations until now!We visited on a busy Saturday night, ordering the fish fry which is pan fried mahi mahi for $18. It comes with fries and coleslaw. The breading they use is super flaky and the fries come out hot and fresh.I'm giving this location 4 stars instead of 5 because they basically forgot to make our order, so we waited a good 30 minutes for our meal.Love the plus of the dog friendly patio and the keys vibes!

We did a scenic boat tour, and our guide hyped this place up and said we could get a discount if we mention the boat tour. He had me at lobster roll and clam chowder. Being from New England I have high standards for lobstah rolls and clam chowda. It's an order from the counter and serve yourself kind of restaurant. So if you're looking for a sit down and be served place, keep looking. I wanted to love it, but on first glance I could tell my lobster roll was previously frozen lobster. It was greasy and bland. That's what happens when it's not fresh. On a side note, the Cole slaw was delicious! The clam chowder was thick and had a good flavor. However, maybe too thick. I found flour clumps at the bottom of my soup. My daughter did love the soup, so the flavor was definitely there. Sorry,Guy Fieri, but you missed on this one.

Wonderful experience @ DJ's! The ambiance was perfect for us snowbirds escaping the winter for some fun under the sun. Food was grade A. My parents loved the freshness of the seafood, especially the lobster roll and shrimp. If you're looking for good eats to get a taste of local cuisine then hit up DJ's

Great fried seafood with a fun atmosphere. Sit outside and watch the people go by as you enjoy the food. Sit inside upstairs for a quieter experience. Walk in and place your order the when your beeper goes off pick up your food and enjoy.

Okay 2nd visit and now this will be me and my wife's go to place from now on!! We ordered the mahi tacos with French fries and 2 clam chowders. This was enough for the 2 of us. The clam chowder was one of the best I ever ate. I hope they will have a larger size available in the future. Everything was delicious. We also decided to eat upstairs and they were nice enough to bring it to us. The staff is real good here!! We are locals and signed up on their instagram. They keep the place very clean and no fishy smell.

There was a live band out front and quiet seating inside which was awesome to have a choice. We had the conch fritters and the coconut shrimp. I had not had conch before and found it a bit chewy. The coconut shrimp was really good. The service was super nice, the staff was awesome and made sure we were taken care of!!

A part of our recent food tour in St. Augustine, I would highly recommend this place for going above and beyond when our tour hit a little hiccup. We had the lobster roll and key lime pie with the option of either beer or Sangria. The food was a huge hit as we don't have lobster rolls in my neck of the woods. Tremendous service and such a cute little courtyard to eat and enjoy the people watching views. If you're in St. Augustine, Corks and Forks food tour is an absolute must... and if you don't do the tour, hit up DJ's for sure.
