I randomly happened to be at the Avenues Mall for the first time in years and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. As I walked to pick up my ordered items, the storefront for Deloozeycakes caught my eye. The doors were closed and locked but I saw a couple of people inside who assured me that they were open. The store was bright with neon lights and it looked inviting and very clean. Desserts such as cupcakes, cake slices, cookies and mini sweet potato pies were lined up neatly along the counter, and the temperature regulated case up front had salted caramel, red velvet, and french vanilla cheesecakes; banana pudding; and strawberry yum yum cake.Red velvet is one of my favorite flavors and that's usually my "go to" cupcake when I try a new place. But, that red velvet cheesecake was calling my name! I got a slice of that and then I couldn't resist getting a piece of the honeybun cake. After taking one bite of each cake, it was clear to me that they know how to make incredible cake! The red velvet cheesecake had a light and soft layer of cheesecake nestled between two moist pieces of red velvet cake that boasted a beautiful cocoa flavor. And while the honeybun cake reminded me more of a coffee cake than a honeybun, it was full of cinnamon, glazed, and delicious nonetheless.Open since the Summer of 2020, Deloozeycakes has rotating cake flavors and even spirit infused cupcakes. I definitely loved the cakes that I tried but I thought the prices were a little steep. At $8 for the cheesecake and $5 for the honeybun cake, I was surprised by the portion size, particularly for the honeybun cake. But, with that said, the next time I am back in The Avenues Mall, I will also be back at Deloozeycakes!

All I can say is delicious!!! I brought a red velvet cheesecake and two honeybun cake slices for the kids. I mad my husband go bad the next day so he can try the honeybun cake because we devoured the red velvet cake. So moist and sweet. And I'm not a fun of cakes at all but the place has my vote!

Absolutely delicious! I had the cheesecake and the pumpkin cupcake very friendly staff , everything smelled amazing when walking into the bakery, will definitely be back to try more treats!

I have had the fortune of trying several items from the menu, because I can't get enough of this yummy goodness. My favorite items are the sweet potato pie and the german chocolate cheese cake and well all of the cupcakes Everything I've tried is good!!!! The yumminess, paired with amazing customer service & topped with an aesthetically pleasing environment makes for an amazing experience.
