Ordered 2 sandwiches 1 with ham, cheese & egg the other ham, cheese, lettuce & tomato. They got it mixed up put everything in one sub which I took the egg out of mines and gave it to my husband. Sandwich only had 1 slice of ham and 1 square of cheese which was not enough to cover the sandwich. 2 sandwiches, 1 coke and a juice were almost $30 & not even worth it.

Run, don't walk, to this amazing little cafe/bakery on Blanding. Why have I not been here before?!? Had gone horseback riding with my daughter, and we were starving. One of our go-tos was closed, so up comes Yelp to lead us to this gem.First, when you walk in, be prepared for your stomach to go full on growl mode. The aroma of freshly baked bread, the sweet smells coming from their bakery case, oh my. I had to stop myself from drooling. They have a very simple menu, but it was still difficult to decide what to choose. I opted for the Pastrami sandwich and my daughter got the Cuban. We decided that way we could go half/half to try both. Then I looked up and noticed they have tamarind juice. Happy dance right then and there. I love this drink.Okay - sandwiches. You know when you eat and you can't stop because it is just so good? Well, this is what happened here. The bread is so perfect - I don't know that I've had a sandwich on bread so perfect. Soft and warm and melt in your mouth. The pastrami was tender and the grilled onions were so good. The Cuban was amazing. My daughter says it's the best she's had - and she grew up near Tampa where you can get a dang good Cuban. Again, the meat was so tender and the flavors were melded together perfectly. Sandwiches are so huge that we both had at least a half left to take home as well. She ended the meal with a cafe con leche. I'm not a coffee drinker, but she said it was incredible. The staff was so friendly and patient with all of our questions. Of course we couldn't walk out without a couple of pastries to go. We both opted for guava filled ones. They were delicious.

I was VERY disappointed They advertised a bakery with many different choices. I got there at 12pm and there were 5 choices from the bakery shelf. The sweets were okay. I also spent $80 on pasteles. When I say the food was horrible, I mean it! I have never left a review like this. The pasteles were so bad my husband and I threw them in the garbage. My husband is Latin and he said he never saw or ate anything like that. The food also had an old freezer smell when I opened the bags. The place is also very small, the pictures make it seem larger. Don't waste your money on those pasteles. The sandwiches and other lunch food I can't speak for. The service was very slow, funny because it was empty.

This place was good but recently it seems quality is declining. I was sold bread that theydidn't have ( overpriced of course but I don't mind paying premium for quality), ordered 2 pastries (quesitos)and when I got home, I found 2 overdone pastries with charred cheese outside and no cheese inside. These should of never been sold to customers. They were also sort of stale. Being puertorrican myself, I know how they are supposed to look and taste like and these were not it. Its a real shame. Bread was overdone and dry as well.

Stopped in this little place on an afternoon out with my mom. The place is small but very clean and open. It's a counter service style place so you order at the counter and either take your food to go or sit in the small dining area. We chose to sit and stay. My mother got a hot pastrami sandwich and I got the Cuban. Both were amazing! Growing up in a heavily Cuban populated area, I KNOW a good Cuban. And let me tell you, this one was GOOD! The pork was perfectly cooked and the bread is made in house and is worth eating all on its own. So soft but crusty at the same time. The people here were so nice too. Support local owned shops!

Omgoodness. Hidden GEM. Got 2 total 8oz coffees. Yummy with a punch of caffeine. The empanada was hot, fresh, flaky, and delicious! Young lady behind the counter, was very knowledgeable of how each item has been made, and what was inside each item. She was incredibly helpful with telling us how we should eat items and what pairs well with it. Come pick up some Puerto Rican, homemade desserts, sandwiches, and bread.

This a cute little Puerto Rican bakery. I was pleased with the food. I purchased different sandwiches, empanadas, pan de novia, doughnuts, and pan sobado. My favorites were the sandwiches and the pan sobado. Personally, i would skip the pan de novia. The staff was nice and friendly and took care of my order quickly.

Just dropped in for a quick impromptu lunch at a hidden little Puerto Rican bakery. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and greetings upon walking through the door. That with the smell of freshly baked bread and sweets were more than inviting! After quickly scanning the menu I went with the Monte Cristo (ham, Turkey, and cheese) with swiss, pickles, and onions, pressed. Hubby had the same but all the way with mayonnaise, lettuce, and tomato. The bread was hot and crusty on the outside and pillow soft in the center. Ooey-gooey cheese melted to perfection! So delicious! I can't say enough how perfect this was. Half would've been plenty but I chose to make myself sick, in the best way of course. While we were waiting for the sandwiches to be prepared we selected several fresh baked goodies to bring home. We chose the quesito (cream cheese-filled pastry twist) with guava, bread pudding, and a cheese and guava muffin. There were so many beautiful pastries, donuts and cakes to choose from in the glass case and if my hubby hadn't been there I would've gotten way more. Next time, I will get the tripleta (pastrami, Cubano ham, and cheese) sandwich and many more pastries to bring home.
