Fantastic tacos at a great price. I got four tacos (carnitas, asada, chicharron) for a little more than $10, and it was too much food for a lunch - but it was all delicious, especially the carnitas. And let me especially single out the screaming hot fresh corn tortillas - truly a differencemaker. Friendly service, and the prices can't be beat. Next time, I'll try the pupusas.

Delicias Centroamericanas is the very definition of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. This is a tiny, nondescript restaurant on Mason Avenue on the Daytona Beach and Holly Hill line. This is the type of place that you would drive by a thousand times and never notice and if you did by chance notice the restaurant, you would probably not even give the place a second thought. I was looking for this restaurant and almost drove by it.Anyway, to call this place small is an understatement. There are maybe seven tables in the whole place. It is simply and inexpensively decorated. However, the food here is definitely the shining star. I opted for three tacos and a papusa. For the tacos, I went with two carne asada and one chorizo. For my papusa, I went with the traditional papusa with pork, beans and cheese. They were incredibly priced at two dollars a taco and $2.50 for the papusa. And for that little bit of money, you got a good amount of food with a whole lot of flavor. The tacos and the papusa were all extremely good. Service was friendly and a glimpse inside the kitchen shown a woman cutting chicken and preparing some of the amazing food coming out of this kitchen.I got the food to go, so I cannot remark on how a dine-in experience would be, but I found the staff here very friendly. I would definitely recommend the small restaurant. The tacos and the papusa were all exceptionally good and I will definitely be returning.

OMG! This place was amazing! We went to get dinner here not knowing what to expect one we got there we were a bit doubtful since the outside looked a bit run down, even walking inside it was very tiny and can hold up to 3 large groups though it is a little tight. Once we sat down they took our drink order and food order at once. They were very accommodating as my parents wanted sodas that werent cold which they were able to give. We ordered a lot of food from their menu. They have food from Mexico, Honduras and El Salvador. Since I am from Honduras whenever i see a "Pollo Chuko" on the menu i have to get it. Though I have only ever gotten one that was deliciously amazing and well done. From their menue we got:- 1 cheese pupusa (extra well done to be crispy, have to ask for it this way) this was done well and the side salad/coldslaw that comes with it was really good 5/5 - from El Salvador - 1 Baleada con todo y carne we asked for no crema. This had refried beans, cheese, egg, avocado and small beef strips. This tasted delicious 5/5 - from Honduras - Tostadas con pollo frito (Pollo Chuko as its called in some places) i am not an onion fan so i asked for mine without onions and the dressing to the side as i little to control where i pour (kind of a food control freak) when this came out i was so surprised at how it looked as it looked bery authentic. They were able to provide me the food in the way I wanted which was great. I was even surprised when there was 2 pieces pf fried chicken as it normally only comes with one. 5/5! - from Honduras - 1 torta de pollo which was done really well and sort of panini-fied. The sandwich was way bigger than expected 5/5 - from Mexico - horchata, this was just ok. I felt like it was too sweet and sugary. It could have used more cinnamon 4.5/5Do make a stop here if you are ever around. Note that they are closed on Tuesdays

Best Mexican food spot in the city. I love the torta, the bread is chewy and delicious. Their papusas are amazing. They can be a little expensive but it is definitely worth it.

This place was great! Food was amazing very good quality! The employees were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very small with about 6 tables and only one server , HOWEVER that did not ruin the experience for us . The young owner was very friendly and social ! He was there helping the server out taking drink and food orders while tables were being cleaned for the customers... its very small in there and it gets very busy quick but we did not feel unwelcomed at any point which was why we chose to patiently wait and it was SO WORTH the wait ! It did not disappoint at all ! The food is cheap and delicious! I highly recommend to try . I do hope they get more servers in there soon with how well their business is going !

bad service, i asked a question and when i came turned out that she was incorrect and got mad at me, started talking bad to me and hung up the phone. Mal servicio, hice una pregunta y cuando llegué resultó que estaba equivocada y se enojó conmigo, comenzó a hablarme mal y colgó el teléfono

The waitress didn't speak English but was very friendly and helpful. my husband had the Al Pastor tacos which were amazing! I tried a few bites and they had this smokiness that was delicious! I had the beef soup full of potatoes, carrots, and chucks of tender beef. Everything was delicious and I would definitely recommend!!!
