How can anyone not love this huge park?Football, baseball, softball, soccer, open space, great playing surfaces. Some playgrounds for be kids, plenty of parking (normally). And two dog parks (small dogs and large dogs). Since we've moved to the area Davis park has become a staple. Triple the size of any of activity parks we were used to up north.Thank you Nocatee and Ponte Vedra!

We come to this park relatively frequently due to many activities. It seems like these fields are always crowded. Especially on the weekends. This particular time we came in the middle of the afternoon and it was quite busy. I will say the amount of parking doesn't accommodate all those that come to spectate, so if you're coming for a game or practice, be sure to leave yourself enough time to find a spot and walk. The fields are in good condition.

I hate that they tore down all of those trees to redesign the frontage of this park, but regardless of my tree-hugging sentiment, the new entrance is beautiful! Loves: -Lots and lots of fields for soccer, football and baseball (some of which are lighted)-Ample parking at each field-Dog parks with pond (for those of you who have water loving Retrievers!)-Playground (small, but in good shape)-Clean restrooms!! Whoo hoo!Note: You may want to keep your dogs away from the far fields' pond, as it is reputed to have a small alligator residing there.

My dog and I have traveled to several states and tried different dog parks in each. This is by far the most fun my dog has ever had! I tried to leave after an hour and he whined so much that I turned around and came back in. The large pond in the middle is kept flowing by a fountain. There are quite a few tennis balls laying around for doggy fun and waste bags are provided for the responsible owners who (for the most part) do pick up after their dogs here. I went on a cool sunday morning and only had about half a dozen other dogs using the park at the same time. My dog was able to relax, run in crazy circles and learn how to swim! My *only* qualm about this park is that the fences aren't 6' tall. I'm pretty sure my dog can clear these if he really tried. Thankfully he was occupied enough inside to not try. We left once the fields across the street started picking up players.. the temptation of a ball on the other side of the road was too strong and I wasn't taking any chances. Loved the fenced in dog wash by the parking lot, it definitely helped cut down on the wet stinky dog-ness of the car ride back.We will definitely be back!

I go here Sunday mornings for an adult soccer league. The turf is nice and there is ample parking. There were also natural grass soccer pitches with goals. This place is a winner for recreational soccer. Please note that the present address of Davis Park indicated here at Yelp! is inaccurate. GPS will lead you at the wrong turn to Palm Valley Rd which is opposite Davis Park Rd. There is a road sign at the Davis Park entrance where you turn right. Directly opposite on your left is Crosswater Community church. If you miss the right turn to Davis Park or just wondering/wandering straight you'll end up at Nocatee Preserve and the Ponte Vedra Sharks' territory.Davis Park is located rightly on 210 Davis Park Rd, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081-0544.The soccer fields are at the very end of Davis Park Road past the baseball fields, football field, dog park, and pond.

This is one of my favorite dog parks to go with my pup Laddie. He loves the water and the park has a great swimming area. Besides the water, the other dogs that play there are very well behaved. I live closer to the beach and normally go to Paws Dog Park but its hit or miss. The only thing I could say that is negative about Davis park for me is long distance from my place to the park. Otherwise it is a great place for pups to play!!

This review is specific to the "dog park". I reviewed this prior facility prior to going and was really disappointed. I do not know what others expect, but I expect more. Most disappointing, the amount of dog poop. Even saw one owner look at his Siberian Husky leave a load and "not" pick it up. Shame on you sir!!! Our tax dollars pay for this facility and you and other irresponsible owners should pick up your dogs poop. The private dog park in Jax is far superior to this average dog park. Sports complex is super and well maintained.
