Dance Trance at JCA - San Jose

The only reason I give them four instead of five stars is the price. A gym membership is much, much cheaper than this place. I lived in San Marco so I knew of Dance Trance but a Groupon made me try it out. I am about the least coordinated person around and I eventually caught on. I love how the dance trance classes incorporate current music and that it varies by class so you aren't constantly doing the same thing. I also took an urban ballet class that was super fun and made me wish that I knew more about ballet.

This place is awesome!!! I lived in Jacksonville and attended Dance Trance classes for a few years before moving out to Texas. The classes are so much fun and an amazing workout! I have never been a dancer but always loved the show So You Think You Can Dance." Even a novice like me was able to learn the moves during their break-down classes. I miss this place a lot!!

I will do anythng to rearrange my schedule just so I can make it to Dance Trance every day. When I miss a day, I feel like I've missed out on a huge party with all my friends - no other work out can even come close to that feeling. The music and lighting system are better than any dance club in Jax and drive the energy through the roof. No dance experience necessary because the choreography is done in a way that anyone can catch on with practice - but with a new dance every week, we are all challenged to keep improving. Love that there are strength training and dance technique classes like PACE and Jazz too. Full body workout and toning experience. Join this community of fantastic energy and you will never look back!

Would have given five stars but the price is quite costly. I have been numerous times with a groupon, gift cards etc and I LOVE it !!! Being a senior now on a fixed income I just can't afford to buy a membership. This is a fun workout for any age !I do love going and enjoy that they make exercising FUN !!
