Crunch Fitness - Harbour Village

They offer lot for their cost. They do not seem to have all they offer. There is a lack of some equipment such as adjustable cable machines and decline benches. They do not have any bosu balls. How do you not have a basic core exercise equipment in a gym? They wasted 25% of their main floor for workout classes in open space. They should of built a half second floor and put that class zone up there with cardio equipment. Then there would not be people waiting for few benches or machines they have. At least the cycling class is in a separate room and does not take up main floor.They have one massage chair that works. Rest do not. Two of hydro massage chairs work. The third requires employee to manually set up each user. Always people waiting to get a turn on everything. The no gravity bed has not been operational for months I have been a member. They have a red sauna room for highest paying members up at entrance. You have to be in full clothes to use it since it has glass door you can see through from the walkway outside the establishment. That should of been put in between the lockers with connecting entrance from both sidesOverall whoever designed the floor plan botched their job, you will be lucky if any amenity or exercise you intend to do does not have a wait or works. They have a small cooler with few over priced beverages in it. Better options with everything working not far away. No military discount.

I'm so happy this gym opened near my house- I hope they expand more in Jacksonville. Love the options of cycling, hot yoga, tons of cardio, & weights all under one roof. Women's locker room is always clean & has a wonderful sauna. I often enjoy the massage chairs after a work out too, and this winter I'll def utilize the tanning. Vibe is positive & encouraging!

I'm really loving Crunch Fitness. It's smaller in square footage than other gyms I've been to, but their offerings make up for it. There's a wide variety of equipment -- from free weights to squat racks to machines. They have tons of cardio equipment as well, and several punching bags. I've taken advantage of a few of their group fitness classes - and they really offer everything imaginable (yoga, TRX, spin, HIIT, boxing, etc). I love the stretch zone and recovery options (sauna, red light, hydro massage chair, etc) -- which are amazing perks for the price. The monthly investment is less than what I would pay for a dinner out with friends -- so this is totally worth it. And there are other plan options. They have everything I need (and more) to help me with my goals and maintain my health. And it's pretty clean in there!! I've seen the team cleaning whenever I'm there and at different times. I can tell they take great pride in keeping the space clean for members. Huge shout out to a few of my fave staff - Brandon, Chris, Cara, Emily, and the gentleman that ALWAYS greets us coming in and leaving in the AM (sorry, I don't remember your name, but you're awesome!)

Almost all the disinfect wipes dispensers for the machines and equipment are always out. I have had to go up to the front desk several times to let them know they are out. Majority of the time it does seem they are just talking at the front desk even when no other customer is there. I have walked up to the front desk and stood there for awhile before they even noticed I was there. Sometimes I have had to try to get their attention multiple times before they see that I am there.Sometimes you do have to wait before the machine or equipment is available to use.Other than that the gym machines are wonderful, the place is clean.

It's cheap. The girls are beautiful. They have a bunch of classes and shit if you're into that. And everything is brand new.

Best gym in Jacksonville by far. There's literally nothing like it. Compare to LA Fitness, which looks like a gym out of the 80's and Planet Fitness that is literally a box full of equipment. No classes. No functional training. No group cycling. No kids club. Then there's Bailey's Gym, which looks like a ghost town. Lots of machines, always clean and nice staff. Love the workout classes but they fill up fast. Wish they had more classes

Avoid This Gym - Rude Trainer, Disrespectful EnvironmentI finally canceled my Crunch Fitness membership at the Atlantic Blvd. Harbor Village location, and I couldn't be happier to be done with this place. The main reason? One incredibly rude and entitled personal trainer who seems to think she owns the gym.This particular trainer sets up for her class a full 30 minutes before it even starts, with zero regard for anyone else working out. I've had her place equipment right in front of me while I was mid-set, completely disrupting my workout as if I didn't exist. The first couple of times, I let it go--but today, after having my session interrupted yet again, I politely asked her to respect my space. Her response? "It's not all about you. The 30 people coming in are way more important." Paying members using the gym for its intended purpose apparently don't matter here.If you're looking for a gym where you can actually work out without being treated like an inconvenience, look elsewhere. There are far better gyms in this city that actually respect their members instead of catering to one trainer's inflated ego. Save your money and go somewhere that values you.

This gym will scam you!!!! Even after you cancel the membership or place the membership on hold they will continue to attempt to take money out of your account. After cancellation they will continue to bill you and place past due bills on you. Once a customer states that they no longer want to partner they try to force you into membership. I spoke to two people and completed an online process to cancel, they continued to take money. College students and people on a budget that want to stay physical fit beware. Once someone initiate a cancellation that should be honored. This gym has No contract. Anyway there's always the option to dispute Especially if you haven't been since you've cancelled. I hope this helps someone avoid the frustration of collecting unwarranted debt.
