A modest observation while peering through the service window of Crown Majestic Kitchen Food Truck set up at James Weldon Johnson Park downtown Tuesday from 11-2.I've posted between 30-40 food reviews. Long winded drabs about gluttonous exploits. All to date have been locally owned brick and mortar mom and pop joints. I selected Crown Majestic Kitchen as my first Food Truck review because I've met Derrick and Theresa several times and their love for each other and what they do is contagious. Their dream of owning their own business was realized in the last few years and was then tragically sidelined when their food truck was totaled in a roadway accident. With a little help from their community their prayers and determination were rewarded when they rebuilt and put back to the circuit in recent months. In my opinion it's the Batmobile of food trucks.To wait as long as I did to sink my teeth into his Gucci Ranch Wings is nearly unforgivable. These wings are so flavorful you don't even need a dipping sauce. These wings are seriously top of the podium in any wing sauce competition. The Garlic Parmesan wings were incredibly delicious as well. Big fat and juicy with the perfect amount of crisp around the edges. The Crown Cheesesteak was a Home Run combo of shaved beef, onions, mushrooms, peppers and melty American Cheese. The hoagie was soft and fresh and the meat portion was very generous. Batting cleanup was Crown's Smoked Gouda Mac'n Cheese. The smoked creamy cheese was so good I almost finished the whole pint before regaining my composure. Overall I can't emphasize enough how good the food is. People were situated throughout the park enjoying their meals. When I arrived around 12:30 there were several people waiting for their orders. It was a beautiful day and They offered the perfect beverage to enjoy with my lunch , a fresh blueberry lemonade. Be sure to follow Crown Majestic Kitchen on Facebook snd Instagram. I've tried the Crown Majestic truck a couple times now. The stellar chicken shawarma cheesesteak I had today compels a five star review. A huge sandwich, well spiced (I added jalapeños for extra, but didn't need to), well melted cheese, with a good side portion of crusty fries. Outstanding. I've had the wings before as well, and enjoyed them too. The service is fast and very friendly - on a previous visit, they gave me a complimentary side of crab mac and cheese to try, and it was rich and full of crab. Another great truck to catch downtown.

Had red velvet waffles & lemon pepper wings last Saturday 4/6/24 @ Riverside Art & Market ( food was soo Delicious ( finger licking good. Hope they will be at Riverside Art & Market this Saturday ( I will be getting my food from this truck. , highly recommend you try the food

The food was super good, service was amazing! The Philly steak was huge, I'm glad I got only one to share! The Mac and cheese was fantastic! We will definitely do this one again!

Have ate here about 4-5 times within last 2 months !!! Love the food , flavors are amazing . Love the gochujang wings and the Gucci ranch even the fries are amazing !!!!!!!!
