I appreciate crabby, accommodating our larger party on a busy weekend! It's a good spot for families to come and they have TVs on including chive TV to keep the kids busy! I had the shrimp three ways and it was good but not spectacular ! My wife had the shrimp and grits, but it was very oily. If they cut back on the oil would've have been much better! My son had a seafood boil and he enjoyed that and working on the crab legs! Service was great attentive and made sure we had plenty of drinks! I thought the calamari was pretty tasty, though. I was the only one in the party that a calamari!

** edited to add our waitress' name! Forgot to write a review from our visit this past summer - and unfortunately I can't remember our server's name so many months later. We've driven by Crabby's many times and decided to just give a shot since my son was hangry and we were in the area. Got a parking spot and despite being pretty busy were seated almost immediately upstairs by the railing so we had a great view of the ocean.I tend to agree with the reviews that say the portions weren't very large for the price. If you look at the pictures you can see there's very few fries in the fish and chips basket, and not that much fish either. That being said I'm not sure I need to be eating a ton of fried food anyway - but if they want an easy way to improve I would say to be more generous with the portions and go with better quality fries. Everything we had was good - for a chain by the beach it was solid. My son and husband loved their drinks - my son got a bucket of something because it was on special, totally worth it as it cost less than getting 2 drinks. Our waitress Sarah K was extremely attentive and funny - we really enjoyed our banter with her and would come back just because of how great she was. For a no brainer meal where everyone can find something they like at a decent price you can't really go wrong here; just know this isn't a gourmet spot.

Came in on a rainy Sunday. Restaurant was clean and bright. We sat immediately and ordered some sweet tea. After reviewing the menu we asked our server Rachel and she helped us make our final decision. Rachel's explanation of each item was absolutely perfect! The conch fritter (which was part of the Key West Combo) was absolutely DELICIOUS. My husband sampled the clam chowder and said it IS the best clam chowder he has ever had. Everything was great. If I had to pick one thing that was just ok we would say it was the cheese grits. They were good just not hot. Come check this place out. You won't be disappointed!

Food was great we had the Baird crab cooked perfect. Our waitress gave great service making suggestions for our first visit. The ambiance is very casual but nice. Lots of outside seating across the road from the beach

We had breakfast there last week and it was great. We went back this weekend of Valentine's Day and it was not good at all. The manager acted as if we were the problem . They did bring us something different but it too was not good. We are local and will not be back The waitress was great though and apologetic for the food

Salad was served first and I ordered it with ranch dressing & it had freshly made, seasoned croutons. For the tables appetizer, which was a freebie through Yelp with the purchase of over $25, we had the creamy crab & spinach dip--anything on the menu with a crab symbol is their specialty item. Strong in cheese and crab flavor, with regular Tostito style chips. I treated myself to a New York Strip, which was a nice, large size to have leftovers with. It was juicy and flavorful (medium well) but I also ended up asking for A1 sauce, as that wasn't on the table--to add more flavor. The strip comes with two sides, and I opted for the mac and cheese which came served alongside. The white cheddar was creamy and flavorful. I think they are understaffed, as there seemed to be one waitress holding down the main floor we were tabled at. She was polite and attentive enough, but I noticed she didn't ask us how the meal was or if we wanted dessert after we were through with our food. They have outdoor music, and an upstairs area to eat. The restaurant is across from St Augustine beach/pier, so you can't miss it!

I wanted to go to St. Augustine Beach for a couple of hours and figured I would grab some lunch at one of the restaurants there beforehand. I decided to try this one because they have an upstairs Outdoor patio and serve both breakfast and lunch. They have your standard breakfast items as well as some unique items. You can also order a lunch item. I decided to go with one of my favorites, shrimp and grits. I'm so glad I did because it was delicious. Service from my waitress, Stephanie, was excellent. I will definitely be back.

Overall an okay experience probably more like a 3.5, not sure I can justify a 4. Not spectacular.Took a while for a server to acknowledge us after we sat (although once we did get a server she was very lovely and attentive) The portions seemed rather small for the price (I get it we're in a tourist town...) but the sides could have been more substantial, in particular the coconut rice (although really good) was like maybe 4 forks full, it was a tiny portion. The good part is they were open late. This is why we chose them. Most every thing else unfortunately was closed when we arrived in town :) Also they were out of key lime pie, which they told us after we ordered it. No big deal we get it but would have loved to try it. We liked the table outside except for the set of kids who kept building up the jenga tower to literally just knock it down violently over and over (had to tune that one out.)

Very sloppy experience, I stopped in for lunch at 3pm and the place was almost empty. I was seated and never approached by a server so I walked up to the hostess to place an order myself.Given the lack of customers I'm STILL waiting for my food as I write this. Update, my food was delivered without a fork. I had to ask the server if I'm supposed to eat the potatoes by hand. I ordered a blackened mahi sandwich with mashed potatoes. Slow food, no service, won't be back.

Was in the mood for wings. My wife and I jumped on the bikes and headed up to st augustine beach. We stopped at Crabbys, stood in doorway while hostess and bartender were yacking. after being noticed, we got seated outside. ordered fries and wings. While waiting, we were treated to the smell of a cigar from a foot outside the non smoking area. waited.. then got fries because the wings still weren't ready. wings were obviously frozen and dry. Then before leaving, I hit the mens room, obviously had not been cleaned in some time, smelling of urine. floor in restaurant was also very dirty and sticky. After leaving, both of us had sour stomachs for a while. Needless to say, won't be back, shoud have stuck with our known favorites.
