Colt Country Cafe & Buffet

Whenever I wanted grilled, fried or broiled COLT, I go to the COLT CAFE!They will serve 'em up with succotash, greens, raw (sushi style) or any way you want 'em!! The colts are all local, grain fed and free range. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR, HOSS and go into the Colt Country Cafe.Tell 'em "SLAPPY" sent ya'.They also have all you can drink Natty Light on Friday night for only $4.99.Food, service, hospitality and AMBIANCE!!! :) :) :)

Colt Country Cafe & Buffett in Reddick is a small-town look and feel place with some big down-home flavor! Only open until 2pm everyday, they have quite the salad bar and buffet table: homemade meatloaf, fried chicken, sausage (links and patties), eggs, home fries, biscuits, gravy, rice & sausage, ham, roast beef, chicken and dumplings and on and on.My wife and I stopped in this morning and what a great, little-known treasure. It's worth the drive if you are looking for some solid, down home southern cooking. Such flavors!I've had to edit this review three times because I keep going up and trying other stuff from the buffet! The mac & cheese! The green beans, complete with pieces of bacon! So good! Peach cobbler, banana pudding with chucks of banana in it and chocolate pudding with pieces of chocolate chip cookies in it! The prospects of what this place could do with a dinner menu make my mouth water. However, don't everyone rush up there at once, I almost want to keep this little piece of heaven to myself.

I have eaten there 3 times and the food was not very good and the service was so so I guess it's ok in a hurry but I would recommend going somewhere else

I was excited to try this after reading some of the other reviews, but it was very disappointing to say the least! The restaurant itself needs a good cleaning and the buffet has very few offerings on it, what they did have was not great and they did not keep it stocked well at all. I am born and raised in Florida and this food does not come close to being good ole southern cooking!

This is one of our favorite lunch stops every Saturday. I always get the buffet and salad bar cause it's always fresh and well done with a lot of selections. My wife always has a BLT and a side of Okra which she says is fantastic. Best fried Okra around she says! Wish they were open later they close at 2pm. Staff is super friendly and always knows what we want before we sit down.

Sunday BrunchWent to Colt Country Cafe after church today and was pleasantly surprised at a great little restaurant on the backroads. Located in Reddick just north of Ocala, Colt Country serves food off of the menu of breakfast favorites, sandwiches and a great buffet and salad bar. The buffet had scrambled eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, meatloaf and a lot more. The food was great and the price was right. Take a trip down the road less traveled and find this gem.

The food was pretty food. Our order was not correct, although they tried to correct it. Not bad, but there's better options in the area.

Love this place. We come when we are in the area to pick up our pups from Southern Goldens. The buffet is great. The food is fresh and hot. The workers are friendly. When we were there about a year ago they had picnic tables on the porch for outside dinning since we had our dogs with us. Definitely not fancy but very tasty food and a great value.

We stopped randomly on our way to Atlanta for a good sit down breakfast. My boyfriend and I shared the Colt Combo and it was delicious! Nice staff and quick service, highly recommend.

First time eating here !The buffet is amazing... everything homemade and delicious !Sometimes you find a place that feels like home...comfortable and inviting... this is Colts !Everyone is friendly and attentive !We'll definitely be back !
