If you've never been to this park, make the drive and CHECK IT OUT! This playground is next to the historical Clarke House so you can get a little exercise and history, all in one! I took my 1.5 year old and he had the best time exploring every part of the park. They have so many types of play equipment I have never seen in other parks. The long zip line and the chair zip line were not working while we were there but it didn't feel like we were missing out on anything with so many other fun things to play on.

This park had a lot of features. It does get really busy but even running around solo, our kid had a good time. Parking was a bit more difficult. They have overflow in the back.

Love this park for the recently renovated playground and shaded trails. The playground is great for big and little kids with lots to do. Pavilions can be reserved ahead of time for parties and there are bathrooms available to use.

We love coming to this park. Our boys both have such a great time. The equipment upgrades were worth wait during the pandemic. I love that they now have lots of benches for the adults to sit on, and there are so many activities for the kids to engage in.They also have a cute little walking trail where you can stop and read along the path. The restrooms are decent. They now have auto flush and auto door openers. The only thing is that the toilets are small and have no seats. But I really appreciate that they are touchless. Also they have added lots of bench seating off to the right for picnics, which is great because the pavilions are usually rented for parties. This is definitely a park the family can spend time in and enjoy.

I am always looking for outdoor activities for my family, especially parks where we can walk and explore, so I had seen this park on a list of recommended parks and wanted to check it out. It was about a 30 minute drive from our house to the park, and that was on a good day with not a lot of orange park traffic. When we arrived, there were a lot of people at the park, so we had to park in the overflow lot in the back. The parking spaces are tight squeezes, so be careful when you open car doors. We unloaded the car and started walking to the park. They have lots of pavilions for rent and benches to sit and admire the scenery. There is a small storytime walking trail that takes about 5 minutes to complete. The highlight of the visit was the renovated playground. They have swings, ziplines, slides, climbing equipment, and more for the children. My husband and I did the swings with our toddler son, and he enjoyed it! When he is older, he will enjoy the rest of the playground to play on. It took about 30-45 minutes to enjoy the whole park, so it was a quick trip for us.

We haven't been in years and stopped by randomly and found that it had recently been renovated. I feel like they did a fantastic job! The playground area is nearly enclosed with one way in and out. There are several zip lines, swings, climbing structures, slides, seesaws that seem a great fit for various ages and ability levels. My kids had a blast. We also loved the little nature trails. Perfect for little explorers

WOW - Just wow. What an amazing park. There's a ton to do here for the little ones, and even adults because most if not all of the structure on the playground is solid. There's a small nature trail w/informational signage. Covered gazebo with electricity and grills that can be reserved. I'm a huge fan of most things old and that old house is just cool. I have not had a chance to do the tour but just checking it out from the outside is awesome enough. I would highly, highly recommend this park.

This park has everything you could ask for. It is amazing for crawling babies up to preteens and then some. The sandbox is very well kept and clean with toys inside. There are zip lines and a massive climbing playgym. Walking trails right by the park and a covered pavilion. There's even a sand volleyball court right next to it. I have been to this mark many times and it will continue to be my favorite in all of jacksonville.
