Amazing food and service. The building is unassuming and you might miss it if you're not paying attention. Parking is not adjacent to the building. Go to the corner, make a right, and parking is on the left. Do not park in the bank lot. As soon as we walked in, everyone we encountered delivered an excellent level of service and hospitality. We ordered the escargot, ceviche, beet cured salmon special, king crab boat, and oysters. Everything was fresh and delicious! So delicious I forgot to take pictures of some of what we ordered. Highly recommend!

WOW!I'm convinced the chefs are magicians at City Grille! We are here over a week ago and are still talking about this meal! I can't wait for another occasion to visit again soon. We ordered 3 starters, Octopus; Beef Carpaccio and the King Crab crispy rice (special app of the night) which were an amazing start to the meal! For dinner we split the 18 oz ribeye with asparagus and mashed potatoes which was more than enough food for us with leftovers to take home!Amazing food, amazing service, great ambience! 10/10!!

I have been dying to try City Grille for a few months and I'm so glad we finally did. This restaurant is very quaint with an old Italian feel. We were instantly greeted by both our servers and they were so accommodating. We never waited for anything. The Argentinian shrimp were the perfect combo of buttery, savory, and sweet. The scallops were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Roasted chicken popped w the goat cheese. The portion sizes were complimentary to the price. We had an amazing experience at City Grille and I would love to try their brunch!

My husband and I were due for a date night and I am so glad we chose city grille and raw bar. This was our first time here and we already can't want to go again! The service was fantastic and the food blew us away. The star of the show was my seafood pasta. Worth every penny. The dish had tons of lobster, shrimp, and 1 huge scallop. The scallop was a little salty but other than that, it was a 5/5 dish. My husband's ribeye was so tender and flavorful. Next time, we would skip the mash potatoes. They were a little thick and had no flavor but for only $5 a side at a fine dining restaraunt, the portion was worth the price. Highly recommend eating here!

This is one of my most favorite places in Jacksonville to eat. It never disappoints. The dish of the meal is the Ibericco Pork Secreto for sure. It was delicious! It was well balanced with the Baked Oysters and Escargo as well. I've had the lamb here and it was yummy, but the pork easily tops it for me personally. I'll have to keep trying new things. If I had to pick between the Escargo and the baked oysters, I'd recommend the Escargo. The bread and warm pesto put it on top. Our server was super sweet as well. Everyone is always so attentive and kind here. It's very refreshing.

It was my first time here and this place exceeded my expectations. It is now my favorite high end restaurant in San Marco/Riverside area, better than the pretentious Orsay and try hard Gemma and Jospehine's. Service: friendly. If you sit at the bar, the bartender will engage in conversation and is knowledgeable about the food. Food: highly recommend the oyster La di da which is a garnish on your choice of oyster: cured quail egg yolk, salmon roe, soy-mirin marinade, pickled cucumber & carrot. It was an explosion of taste in your mouth.Dessert: highly recommend the banana foster but it's not served table side with the usual flames. Happy Hour: everyday except Monday and Saturday from 3-6 PM for $10 cocktails, $3 off wine and $6 oyster shooters. Will be back!

Had a reservation for a party of 5 for Mother's Day. We arrived early and headed to the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. Everyone enjoyed their drinks (old fashioned came with a gentleman's cube, the white wines were nicely chilled, martini had blue-cheese stuffed olives, and the manhattan came with ice on the side) and the bartender was very attentive. We were seated at our reservation time in the back, which was nice because it was more private with just three tables. We started with the charcuterie board and chose cheddar, gouda, and goat cheese with added marcona almonds. This was a well-paired board that was reasonable to share amongst 5 people. While we waited awhile for our entrees to come out, our water glasses were promptly refilled and additional drink orders taken. For the entrees, I ordered the Beef Short Rib, 2 guests ordered the Fruitti Di Mare Pasta, 1 ordered the chicken saltimbocca, and 1 had the Iberico Pork Secreto with a side of whipped potatoes. The short rib was nice and tender on a bed of whipped potatoes with cooked carrots, shallot, and a couple types of mushrooms. The portion size was more than enough for 2 meals and the short rib itself was fork-tender. The pastas came out loaded with seafood (lobster, shrimp, mussels, etc.) and were greatly enjoyed. The pork and chicken dishes were also nicely plated and flavorful. Overall, no one had a complaint regarding their entree. For dessert, we ordered the lemoncello mousse cake and chocolate pistachio cheesecake. These were both very decadent and rich, perfect to share amongst the table. The waiter did mention that they had run out of crème brûlée, which is understandable given the holiday. All in all, this place is definitely worth a reservation for a holiday, date night, etc., and we're excited to go back!

Repeat review after visiting this location for over a year, and continued success, the staff is incredible, the managers, equally incredible, barkeep, and staff, outstanding, but let's focus on what's pure, the food!, They have a tremendous, solid menu! There are raw bar is outstanding, fish is always 100%, the Iberian pork a must, and I must admit while I don't go there for their beef, I'm never disappointed, temperature always perfect, quality 100% . Beautiful bathrooms, well kept, always at my attention because this says a lot about how they keep their kitchen and their overall importance to cleanliness. Get reservations, the place is loved by many regulars, such as I.
