Great vibe- if you like flavored booze you can't go wrongWe did a free tasting 10 mini shots! It's definitely a good way to start the night. Service was great it was like a little boozey show and tell. Our host Miranda?... was awesome and made it fun and light hearted . Ended up getting a bottle of coconut rum $27 not bad... definitely recommend!

This is the most amazing tasting experience I had in St. Agustine. They offer free tasting of their unique flavors of rum and moonshine. My favorites were definitely the coconut rum and the apple pie moonshine.The girl serving the liquor was very energetic, she did a great job explaining each of the samples and making great jokes in the meantime. The store is nice, too. Everything is well organized and easy to find each of their products. They also have good deals going on.I'm going back again if I am around!

We did the taste test and it was fantastic! Our hostess Lexie was phenomenal and we ended walking away with quite a few bottles. Can't wait to head back there again!

We arrived on a Saturday around 2-3pm. Wait to get in was about 15-20 minutes for the "tasting". Definitely worth it in my opinion and you will leave with a buzz assuming you try all of them. Our "guide" was super cool. They do accept tips. There's a no sharing policy, so don't expect to come with someone that doesn't drink and have them pass along their sample. They won't allow it here. Plenty of flavored liquored here for folks that are into that.

If you have not come here before while visiting Saint Augustine, I can assure you that your itinerary was crazy because this place was fantastic. The staff there was super amazing the tour you pretty much get to try everything they have and some of the ideas they had were spot on. A few of their drinks or bottles, one of the late dimensions that you could potentially put it on bourbon just a splash just to have that taste of their own drinks into any bourbon or whiskey and she was 100% correct it was fantastic. I tried it and I highly recommend you going back there and doing the tour and taking a couple bottles home.

Very cool place. I've been a long time ago and they offer free whiskey/moonshine tastings. I was short on time so I couldn't partake in the tastings but had been to the light night show the night before and got a coupon for BOGO alcohol, how could you not and get some? Staff were great and it's definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Even if you don't buy anything, free alcohol....

City Gate Spirits was me and my sister's last stop before heading back to Jacksonville. Several friends told me about this spot, so I had to check it out. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked for our ID. Christine was our spirits guide (liquid spirits lol). She was fabulous! This was my first time trying the distillery and me and my sister were impressed! We tried 10 small samples. Some of my favorites were the Smoked Maple, Peach and Salted Carmel whiskeys. My least favorite was the Sweet Tea Moonshine. Keep in mind, I'm typically not a whiskey fan, but I'm now a fan of City Gate. If you buy three bottles, the third is half off. My sister bought two, and I purchased the seasonal Limoncello, which we did not sample. But I tried it when I got home and I loved it! They had other deals which I can not remember. But I'm sure if you stop in, they will let you know.

Whats not to love about a free tasting! I'm not a fan of whiskey but they also have rum samples and drink concoctions. Our tasting expert was great amd funny and I learned a lot about the flavors and ingredients in each of the drinks. Would definitely recommend checking it out while exploring in St. Augustine.
