My wife and I have been enjoying Cinco De Mayo in World Golf Village for over 8 years and this is the first time I had POLO ALA CREMA. I Loved it!! Every bite I was like mmm, mmm, until my wife was like stop! Let me try some she loved it too! Great Friendly Service Always, Cold beer and you get a lot of food on the plate. Tomorrow I will be having POLO ALA CREMA for lunch unless I get hungry tonight The picture does not do the dish justice, it was full of delicious Chicken, Mushrooms, Grilled Onions, Peppers and unbelievable cream sauce. YUMMY It only got better as I was eating it because the cream sauce was mixing with the rice and beans. The Owner is always there to make sure the food comes out hot and fresh, but don't tell anyone how nice Cinco De Mayo is in WGV, don't want it to get too crowded I will say one thing I noticed that was different, the music is not as authentic as it used to be, but I love when someone is having a Birthday Party, it's just a fun place to eat. And if you have little kids, you can buy just one taco for a few bucks.

Zero stars if I could. Came in quickly on my 45min lunch. Was seated, my waitress took 10min to "check on me", asked for water was ready to order, she walked away got lost. Came back 10min later I ordered a quick lunch the Speedy Gonzalez I asked if I could have a corn tortilla instead of flour she seemed annoyed by that. Food came out a nice gentleman brought it out. I wanted to place a to -go order of churros but since my waitress felt like her text messages were more important I ran out of time. (I watched her as she was at a table in the corner, texting, drinking her drink, having not a care in the world.) Very unprofessional, not friendly, food is not good. I'm from CA and our Mexican food out there is great this place, met zero expectations. Definitely did not tip. Tips are earned and the lady that was not present during my visit did not earn my hard earned money.

The food was decent. Flavorful. Fresh. Large portions. Service could have been better. We were a party of 5. Both hostesses seated us swiftly without any conversation. Attitude of the wait staff was similar. There was a language barrier. I ordered corn tortillas with the pollo loco. They brought flour tortillas. No biggie. I tried to the attention of three seperate servers to have it changed. No luck. We were unsuccessful. We had to get up and go towards the kitchen to get their attention. They brought in fresh corn tortillas that were delicious and freshly made They were not full or busy. Same story when we tried to order desert or get boxes. It was hard to get anyone's attention. We had to get up and go to them to ask. I would do a takeaway next time. Food was decent.

The food was decent and you get ALOT to eat for the price, but I was very thrown off by the terrible, nasty smell in the restroom near the kitchen. The chips were sub par, however......if you like spicy, ask for their jalapeño salsa and you're in for a kick! I wish they had a small bites menu (similar to the lunch menu) that was always available because the portions were so large. The service was pretty good when the food was brought out. There was only a slight issue with languages, but we all managed perfectly. I would have liked to try a frozen margarita, but they use a premade sour mix that is too strong and they were $9.99 for one (not sure of the size).Compared to the other locations, this one is the best. If it weren't for the sour water, sulfur smell in the restroom and lack of ambiance, I would give them four stars. We probably will not be back, but for the price, the food was substantial and tasted fine.

The worst Mexican food! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. I'll never return to this restaurant. I will say our waitress was good. Tipped her accordingly. Not her issue on food quality.

This place used to be just decent but as of late the quality is absolutely terrible. Watery salsa that tastes like tomato water. Fajitas that come with stale shells and mostly veggies. The rice and beans were very bland. The food in general lacked flavor. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all cost.

recently had the pleasure of dining at Cinco de Mayo Mexican Restaurant in St. Augustine, and it was very good! The menu offered a wide range of authentic Mexican dishes. The excellent flavors and the portions were generous too!The service and staff were attentive and eager to ensure a delightful dining experience. Overall, Cinco de Mayo exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to visit again. If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine and find yourself in St. Augustine, make sure to stop by this restaurant.

The margaritas are potent! And yummy! Overall, everything was just what you would expect from strip plaza Mexican food. Everything we got was delicious. Fajitas, queso, burritos - all yummy.

Water tasted like soap. Received the wrong drink. Queso wasn't hot. Asked for two small quesos, received two large quesos ($18!!!!) Pros: The salsa was good and the chips were fresh.

Well I haven't been back to Cinco De Mayo in a year, hoping it had gotten better. Well it didn't, it worse. I ordered carne asada last night take out and it ranks up there with the top 5 worst Mexican dinners I have ever had. When I moved here 6+ years ago I was so happy to see that restaurant near my neighborhood. But over the past couple of years their food has become increasingly worse. Toughest steak that couldn't be cut with knife, the chips were stale and tasted like old grease, they tried to give me fries instead of rice, the steak was smothered in refried beans and onions, then I got brown lettuce with a teaspoon of guacamole. Horrible meal! Taco Bell is much better. I'm totally done with that place.
