I visited Chop House for the first time on a Saturday evening at 5 PM. Rooftop seating was full so I found us a spot at a high table at the bar. We started with the focaccia served with herb butter and olive tapenade. Oh my, the bread was soft on the inside and crispy around the edges. I added the olives and a little butter and enjoyed a few slices. I ordered the NY strip and my friends and I ordered several sides to share. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium, and was packed with flavor. It was so big, I ate half for dinner and the rest the following day. We shared truffle fries, asparagus and brussel sprouts. My favorite was the tie between the brussels, crispy and seasoned well, and asparagus, tasty and tender but not mushy. My least favorite were the truffle fries. Not because they tasted bad, but because I'm not a huge fry fan.No dessert because we were stuffed. Our server was attentive and friendly. I would love to go back and hope to find an open table on the rooftop next time.

The restaurant and bar are beautiful. The service was timely, could have been a little more cheerful as the server was all business and lacked personality. The food was not bad, but not great either. For the prices charged you expect top notch quality and presentation. The dishes lacked any kind of creativity or effort and the flavors were not interesting.I ordered a 6 ounce filet with a baked potato and asparagus and had two one liquor cocktails and my total bill was $132.00.The baked potato tasted a little old like it had been sitting a while and had a dark tint to it... the asparagus was just ok, and the filet was lucky if it was a full 6 ounces as it was the tiniest piece of meat I've seen served at a steak house. My friend ordered the tuna with saffron risotto and she maybe ate 1/2 of it, saying it was overcooked and tasted weird.

Meh. I was super excited and I guess expecting more. Ordered the Calamari as an app, way too many peppers and not enough calamari. I always order the Ribeye medium rare when I go to a steak house. When they say "blackened" I guess that ment burnt crust on the outside with the correct temperature on the inside. Wasn't thinking it would be super burnt on the outside. I love brussel sprouts but these were just run of the mill. Nothing special. Wife got the salmon and loved it. Service was great and the everyone was super nice and friendly. I Just was expecting something else I guess. To be frank I'll go someplace else for a Ribeye or steak. Maybe my excitement for a great steakhouse right in Nocatee had my expectations too high. But I won't be rushing back anytime soon for a date night or corporate event.

Food, service, and ambience are all impeccable. Nice little gem to have in. Be ready dust of the old because you definitely will end up spending quite some dough, but it's definitely was worth it!!

I had completely forgotten that Chop House Nocatee till our friends invited us to dinner their. We made a reservation ahead of time and that worked out because it was pretty packed when we arrived. We wanted to check out the rooftop but it has been so cold lately so we just grabbed a drink at the bar. Once seated our waiter explained that it was their soft opening so they didn't have everything available just yet and they had more they were planning to add. We started with appetizers and drinks of course. We went with the Focaccia Bread Plate, the Fried Calamari, and for my drink a Dirty Vodka Martini and good news they have Blue Cheese Stuffed Olives. The Focaccia Bread was great, some of the best bread I have have ever had. Now I know it's not free beard but at only $6 you are going to want to try this. The Fried Calamari was good. It some tossed in a Thai Chili Sauce with fried banana and roasted red peppers. I will say I was a little disappointed that the calamari didn't have any of the tentacle piece but it was still good. For my entrees/starts/sides I went with the Lobster Chowder, The Prime 16oz Ribeye, and the Lobster Mac & Cheese for my side. The Lobster Chowder was very good. Pretty much a lobster bisque with potatoes, corn, bacon, and other veggies. I had a lot of small pieces of lobster in to too which is a step up from most lobster bisques. I got by Ribeye cooked medium rare and it was done perfectly. very tender and flavorful. The only thing I would have changed was maybe getting an accompaniment for the steak just to give it that next level of flavor. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was very good and for sure the best side we had in my opinion. I feel like when you're at a steak house you have to get a good Lobster Mac as well. I was also able to try Ashley's Parmesan Truffle Fries which were just OK in my opinion. I have just had much better ones and at lowers prices as well. All and all we have a very nice dinner and Chop House is a great addition to Nocatee. We will for sure be back to check out the rooftop bar as well as the menu when they are fully having everything

SOFT OPENING SUCCESS!Server Randy and associate Zack were attentive, helpful, and respectful. Great footprint for casual meetups in the bar with table tops and TV's to the standard dining room experience to the rooftop bar and lounge. Upstairs menu differs from dining room for that more casual eatery. Our meal started with cocktails, a shared chopped salad, oysters rockefeller, a filet that cut with a fork, baked chicken, baked potato, crisp brussels and apple cobbler for dessert. Very generous portions. Fine dining. Price reflects ambience, food and service. A welcome addition to the area!

Wow, what an amazing experience. Came in for date night on Saturday evening and enjoyed high quality food with white glove service. Friendly and attentive staff with someone refilling water and clearing our plates on a timely basis. Ordered two apps, the Grilled Octopus and Grilled Big Eye Tuna and we each ordered a steak: 12 oz Wagyu New York Strip 16oz Prime Ribeye with a shared side of grilled asparagus. The steaks were made to perfection (medium rare). The octopus was plump and flavorful and the tuna was very fresh and paired well with the avocado. It was the perfect amount of food for two. They also have a roof top bar that overlooks a small lake on one side. Would definitely check out again during lunch when the weather is nice to enjoy some good food and view/ambiance.

Saturday 2/22/25 at 6 ish, We (4 top) were very impressed at the location by the water with plenty of parking. Atmosphere/decor was great upstairs and downstairs. Kendall was our server at table 5. Best table in house along with her vibrant smile, if I may add! We ordered a lot of food. Lamb chops, lobster chowder, Surf and Turf, Faroe Salmon, Lobster Mac n Cheese, and salads. For the table....Crispy Brussels, Rosti Hash browns and Wagyu Carpaccio. WOW. 10/10 recommended. We shall be back.

Amazing service and amazing food! Very cozy addition to our local neighborhood. The appetizer bread is a MUST. I had the 14 oz strip. We shared the crispy Brussel sprouts and a loaded baked potato. The strip was flavorful and tender. It was cooked to a perfect medium. We had the crème brûlée for dessert. Another must try. Easy 5 five stars. Can't wait for spring to check out the rooftop!
