Celestia's Coastal cuisine

I've been right here, in this parking lot since I moved here in September. I didn't know this was a soul food restaurant, until Yelp suggested it. As I walked in, the DJ also walked in and greeted me. He sat down and the music was flowing. (he was already set up and playing before I got there) DJ is until 9:00 pmThey also have Karaoke on Friday nights from 6:00 pm til 9:00 pm The young lady took my Catfish platter order, I ordered it with Mac n Cheese and Lemon pepper fries. She was really nice. I sat down in the waiting area and was enjoying the music. As I looked around, I didn't see a bar, but they do have wine and beer in cans and bottles.I took my food to go. I don't live far, I felt like the Mac n cheese I should have warmed up, but it had a lot of flavor. The Lemon pepper fries were amazing, again so much flavor. I really enjoyed the Catfish; I think though I will ask they fry it hard but seasoned very well.I would definitely come back and support this establishment.

Very nice and aesthetically appealing restaurant. The staff is professional and friendly. I ordered the smothered pork chop dinner which comes with bread and two sides. The premium sides are $1 extra , so I stick with the basics peas and cabbages. I waited a bit for my order and eventually followed up with the staff after waiting over 30 minutes. When I received my order, I noticed that the cabbages were missing. When I notified the staff member , she advised that the kitchen was out of cabbages and offered another side item . Glad that I checked my order before leaving. The food was okay And I'm glad that I chance to try it.

The food is fresh and seasoned well. The service was superb and a friendly family environment.

In area looking for lunch and found this establishment. Great seafood (mainly fried). Southern flair on all dishes. Catfish, fish, oysters and shrimp. All fried up fresh. They even have a breakfast menu. Very clean and neat seating area. Self serve soft drinks and tea. Order at counter and sit down, they bring the food to you. Grits and collards were amazing! Only area we saw for improvement were the hush puppies which were dry and doughy. 4.5 stars. We will be back.

this is quintessentially the home chef embracing a dream of restaurant ownership. A small personable location that provided excellent service and good hometown cooking.

Fresh, delicious, and family friendly.The building was nestled right at the end of a strip mall with a grocery store. Very convenient if you are right out of the airport.For being a pay-first restaurant, I was surprised there was table service!

A perfect spot to stop by and enjoy lunch. Definitely the best boil if you like your food well seasoned! Recommend 1000%!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef and owner of Celestia's Coastal Cuisine! My job hosted an event highlighting African American Chefs and she was our guest celebrity chef! She was so pleasant and inviting to everyone she encountered. Most importantly we were serving her well known recipe of oxtails and shrimp and grits. I ordered the grits topped with oxtails and gravy and let me just say *Chefs kiss! This meal was a southern charm. It was savory and perfectly flavored with brown gravy that was made to perfection. It lacked nothing except for a sweet tea on the side and my family to enjoy it with. I can't wait to attend her restaurant again and enjoy more of her delicious recipes. She hinted at a new location coming to the downtown area soon so be on the look out. Also be sure to grab her cookbook in store or on Amazon!

The food was awesome!!! Everyone was nice service was fast the place was clean enjoyed the music too!!!
