Well we actually went kayak fishing at the boat area. It was easy getting our boats in and there weren't lots of waves. Caught lots of catfish and reds, thrown in that stingray, blue crab a pretty fish with yellow on it and that's my catch and return.I really hope my group goes again, I liked viewing the birds hanging out in the trees and being able to get close enough to see egrets hid a pink spoonbill. My pictures sucked though.

Part of the Timuquana Ecological and Historical Preserve is the Cedar Point Preserve north of Jacksonville, FL. Family friendly 600 acre area with well maintained trails, wetlands and boardwalks. Restroom facilities, canoe/kayak launch as well as small boat ramp, and picnic areas are available. A GREAT place to breathe clean air and have outdoor fun during these pandemic times!
