I tried this place a solid three times in order to give it a fair shot since I was disappointed with my first visit. My visits did improve, but I definitely think they could improve more. The food: delicious. There's no doubt about that. Every single thing I've tried has been amazing. It's definitely Americanized Mediterranean food. It is branded as a healthy fast casual option, however I'm not sure about that due to the amount of oil used. (Picture attached). The first time I went I got the roasted veggies which were very burnt and ruined my bowl, but they were cooked well the next two times so I'm sure it was just a mistake. Now let's talk about what really brings it down to 3 stars instead of 5. The service. While employees are friendly, there is no sense in placing a pick up order at this location because you have to wait just as long. I placed a pick up order through the app all three times, and my order wasn't on the pick up shelf all the three times. The first time, I had to wait for an employee to see me and then they started making my pickup order after the time I designated on the app. The second two times my order was ready, but it was in an area behind the counter. I still had to wait 15-20 minutes to get the attention of an employee (who are very busy) to actually get my food. It makes the point of pick up pointless. This also makes no sense because the pick up shelf is 6 feet from the area behind the counter where pick up orders are actually kept.

Greeted upon entering. We each took turns ordering our dishes. TY was very helpful with the voices of dressings for my bowl and it was delicious. Variety of healthy drinks. Inside and patio seating. We always take pita bread to go.

Very good for a fast food option! Love that you can customize to how healthy you want and that it just includes a side of pita bread for dipping without you having to add/pay for a side. I've heard the homemade drinks are amazing so I'll be trying those next time!I tried the blondie today and was very disappointed- it was small for the price and not as good as I was expecting based on their other food.

We always prefer to order online, even when we plan to dine in, makes adding all my favorite ingredients easy. Love that I can choose a couple of lettuce mixes for the bases and load up on veggies too. We love sitting outside at this location on a beautiful day at an umbrella table for some shade. Keeping it healthy with some water on the side. Wish pickup was easier here, but they moved them all behind the counter which can take time to pickup since there is no designated space to pickupOnline orders. Also, always check for your free pita, we always have to ask for it as it's usually forgotten.

My husband is a huge fan of Cava and he's been dreaming of it since he had it in California. So when he found out we had one here, he excitedly took me to the location in Riverside. He loved it so much that he came back the next day as well. Upon walking in, it was clean, bright, and lots of room for seating. The customer service as friendly, fast, and we got our bowls pretty quick. Here are my ratings as follows:Spicy falafel: 7/10 - it was good but it wasn't spicy. I couldn't taste a hint of spice in the falafel. When I see something that is marketed as "spicy" I would like to at least taste some type of spicy aftertaste, but all it tasted like to me was a normal falafel. I couldn't taste any of the jalapenos in it at all. Regardless, it was decent. I wouldn't get it again as it was on the smaller side and didn't taste as fresh. Create your own bowl: 7.7/10 - I created my own bowl consisting of salad mix, spicy falafel as my protein, roasted veggies, tomato and cucumber mix, corn salsa?, pickled onions, harissa paste, hummus, and yogurt dill dressing. It was a lot of flavors going on but it was good! I thought it was delicious but wasn't a WOW factor for me. I would probably come back and try other combinations. I wasn't mind blown but the amount was good for the price. I enjoyed the harissa paste very much as it was a very nice, spicy kick and helped balanced the acidity of the bowl! Mexican diet cola: 9/10 - I loved this soft drink. Mexican cola is a bit more fizzy and spicier tasting in my opinion than the usual US cola. I enjoyed my drink so much that I had to get extra refills! The taste is very similar to US cola but it has more of a kick and a richer depth of flavor. Pita chips: 9/10 - I didn't try it but my husband and best friend enjoyed it every much. They were hot, crispy, and went well with the hummus. Overall, it's a solid place for some fresh bowls and there are plenty of options for the health conscious mind. Customer service was outstanding! Definitely give Cava a try if you haven't been before. You won't be disappointed!

I love that it's basically the Mediterranean ChipotleGreat, wholesome food for a great price.The food is just a little too salty but I still smash the bowl every time.LJ and Tye are my favorites, they're always super sweet and I look forward to chattin with them each time.The whole staff is great to my family and I.Definitely recommend!

we received office catering from this place and I ate their grains bowl which I say is tastier and amazing especially their grilled vegetables. Their spicy food is actually spicy.

I can already tell that I'm going to love Cava. First impression the ingredients look fresh and the food smells so good. The service was also top tier and really helpful in selecting a bowl. I decided to build my own bowl. It was such a great selection of items to add to my bowl. I can't wait to chow down because my bowl smells fantastic.I need to add that the in-house refreshers are so good. I mixed a cucumber mint combo and citrus strawberry. Amazing! The drink was so refreshing and tasty.

You know..I think I'll be back. My grilled chicken with hummus and cucumbers on a pita was pretty darn good! It was huge and probably could feed 2 and the same goes for all the bowls I saw being prepared ahead of me. The interior lacks but it doesn't matter with food this good and fresh.It's a basic build your own but they do have a few ideas for those who are not sure. They have a ton of dressing and sauces to try so each visit you can mix it up. Yep I will be returning again soon.
