Castillo is an excellent place to kick back and enjoy a succulent mealMy wife had the braised ribs and I had the confit duck - both were beyond outstanding!!Service was professional and fast - a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a great dinner

Service - 5 starsFood - 1 at best We tried the ribeye ($65) and it was disappointing on an unexpected level. From the gloopy potatoes to the curdled mushroom sauce, definitely not a place I would revisit.

We came in for a drink and an app. The bar tender, Johanna, was so friendly and made us both a great drink. Photo of his old fashion shown but my peachy keen was long gone. I would come back. She told us the dinner portions are large so be prepared to share.

Nice modern restaurant with a good vibe. Food quality very good and won't disappoint. Waiter was attentive to all our needs.

Food was ok. Service inside great. Ambiance kinda cool. The bad part. Bad signage for parking. Parked in valet only. No valet. Oh wait another entrance for valet. Nearer the restaurant. Asked the hostess went back out. Your keys. Um no I parked and then walked here and I don't want you driving my car. It isn't the tip either. More than half empty everywhere. My partner said don't make a scene the manager I guess overheard. Is there an issue? Yeah I don't want valet. Oh you can park in the garage. Welll garage ain't free and we dropped over $200 on your empty mediocre restaurant. No matter not coming back. Valet boy telling me he can't let me get my own car. He didn't run to come park it. Menu pricey and very limited I settled on fish and chips. They were good but not $30 worth can get that anywhere.

Very cool place located in a hotel across from the parking deck in downtown st Aug. I loved the decor! We had a big group reservation come in one night and got wonderful service. We all loved the cocktails (we literally had all the cocktails on their menu between everyone and they were all good). Our food was good too. Forget what everyone had for their entrees but I had the salmon and my husband had the short rib.

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Castillo Craft Bar & Kitchen, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and the staff were friendly. Our server, Kyle, provided exceptional service, ensuring we had everything we needed and making us feel welcome.We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was delicious. The Nutella French Toast was a standout, perfectly sweet and decadent. The Omelette with goat cheese was light and flavorful, a great combination of ingredients. The avocado toast was fresh and tasty, topped with just the right amount of seasoning. The biscuits and gravy were hearty and comforting, a classic done right.Overall, Castillo Craft Bar & Kitchen exceeded our expectations with its fantastic food and top-notch service. Highly recommend for a great breakfast spot!

The menu is eclectically, European and very well prepared. Everybody is very friendly and Jacob was our server two times and he was just terrific in both cases Daniel the manager stopped by to make sure everything was fine. Just a very nice place to have a nice meal.

Staying at the renaissance hotel, so decided to try this place since it's downstairs.The reviews and food pictures looked great. But I didn't share the same experience. For starters they didn't have the fried fish. They said they only had 2 and ran out. I then asked for the ribeye and they said they were also out. I was appalled at a restaurant being out of their main dishes on a Saturday night.The watermelon margarita was too spicy, didn't really enjoy it. I ended up ordering the NY strip, which was ok.Dinner for 4 was north of $200. Major disappointment and waste of money. If it wasn't because it was raining, I would've gone somewhere else; I left this place hungry. Don't let the pictures fool you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
