Came back to Casa Marina I few times over the last month and said in the main restaurant for brunch and well as the Penthouse again for the experience was much better. Once again the staff was amazing and extremely helpful. We didn't have a reservation at the main restaurant, but we're able to get a table anyway. Once again started both times with bottomless mimosas. You can't really beat that for $15 and with great service pays for its self. We started with the Fried Green Tomato's which were good and Crab Cake Benedict for my entree. If Crab Cake Benedict is on the menu I'm going to get it. Again the main restaurant is great cause their food menu is almost 4 times the size of the Penthouse so plenty of options. The Crab Cake Benedict comes with either bacon or sausage as well as grits or potato's which for $14 is a great price. Some of the best brunch prices I have seen in awhile. The Benedict doesn't come with an English Muffins at the bottom but it's not really needed. The Crab Cakes were large and both rich and sweet. The eggs were also perfectly cooked. Nothing ruins a Benedict like over cooked poached eggs. Plenty of food for brunch. At the Penthouse my second time I tried the Brisket Stack which was much better than I expected. The Brisket was a little cold but was tender with good fat and good flavor. The BBQ Aïoli also paired great with it. Will for sure be at Casa Marina more in the future.

Most everything While I understand this is a historical hotel - we take this into consideration with our review. The first suite assigned had a terrible moldy-musty smell - the suite was on the first floor on the far end of hotel away from Margaritaville. So they do offer another suite on the second floor. No smell. What should have been advised is the reception area is directly below this suite and the Penthouse Bar is above it. You can feel vibrations thru the floor and I cannot describe the sound level - suffice to say you can sing along as you can hear every word and the crowd hooping and hollering. Finally having enough we called the front desk at 1am Saturday morning to ask when it would end. And it did within 30 minutes. Penthouse closes at 1am on weekends be advised .Again Casa Marina should be more transparent on the noise. Furniture is all hodge podge - nothing matching. Table top in bedroom wasn't connected to the base, falling off when table was moved. The shower curtain missing hangers and is flimsy and too small. As for the towels - they are dingy and small. They get the job done but there should be a certain level of pride in the hotel furnishings should be better quality. There are items stashed in every corne of both floors - not sure what they are but are unsightly. The curtains on the window by the elevator on floor 2 are literally shredded towards the bottom. No ice maker to be found. The offices appear to be in old rooms - doors left open showing a cluttered mess. As does the upstairs linen closet. The grass is unkept outside of restaurant- there are cigarette butts in the grass as well. Parking is tight I get it on the beach and the age of hotel. However the free parking across the street was completely full, possibly due to the wedding being held. But no other option is available to hotel guests - you are left to pay for parking. Casa should at the very least offer to reimburse if a guest has to pay. As this review is written a reception is going on until 1030 pm Sunday night. If only sounds could be posted with review. I will say the bed is comfortable and every employee we have asked a question or for something was always polite and did what they could. The owner and manager of this hotel should take time to do a walk thru making notes of all that should and needs to be done. It could be a fabulous hotel but I will not even consider staying here again unless changes were made. Not that Casa cares and maybe one guest cannot make a change but I can forewarn future guests.

The most gorgeous hotel!! Definitely coming back and staying at this beauty! It's giving boutique style. We decided to have lunch at the Rooftop and so glad we did. First time having an aperol spritz, wasn't my favorite but had to try it. Our bartender completely forgot his name, but he said he was new and he did fantastic! The lunch we had was: Kobe sliders & shrimps tacos was the best lunch I've had my whole time in Jax. Our plates were completely EMPTY lol. Delicious food, and even better views! Literally the best place IN ALL JAX BEACH!

Went for Sunday brunch.Bottomless mimosas for $15. Yummy. They have different juices - which they need to put in a glass with a spout as we made a huge mess while pouring. And why are you bringing me like a 3 ounce glass of juice for a 4 top??!Monkey bread started us out and it was good. The home fries (aka potatoes) are delicious. Bacon was too crispy for my liking. But overall this place is great. Prices are extremely reasonable.

I recently visited Casa Marina for the first time on a beautiful December day. My friend directed me up the flights of stairs and into the bar. We checked out their cocktail menu, and I went with some type of spritz that had vodka, prosecco, thyme, and lemon. She got a lychee martini. Prices were reasonable, but our bartender was not very friendly. I think they had just finished brunch, so they were probably stressed out. We went outside with our cocktails on the big rooftop that overlooks the ocean. Wow the views were amazing!! I can't wait to go back now that I know how it all works. I felt intimidated by this place before, because I didn't want to just show up when a wedding was happening. The tables were covered in mimosas and were never cleaned off. It is not a fancy place at all despite it looking like that on the outside. For one drink with beautiful views, it was exactly what we were looking for. I would go for exactly that same experience again next time.

Casa Marina's rooftop bar is always a fun time. I love the recent renovations and their espresso martinis are truly the best in Jacksonville (and I'm not even a huge fan of espresso martinis.) Overall a great spot to grab a drink, catch up with friends, and listen to music.

Sunday Funday! Few cocktails and laughs with friends. Probably the best espresso martini at the beaches. Awesome staff, fun and diverse crowd, we had a great time as always. Only weird thing were the high boys at the rooftop bar (inside) -- the little slats are kinda uncomfortable especially in a light dress or shorts, but nothing we couldn't tolerate. Lol

- we were directed to a BROKEN ELEVATOR that they knew was getting stuck, so my claustrophobic mom had to deal with a panic attack from it- NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY since we couldn't use the elevator and there's only one entrance we could comfortably use- ROACHES (evidence attached)- there was a wedding so we couldn't access all the amenities or the courtyard. That wasn't told to us in advance- the wedding guests were extremely LOUD, even near the rooms and not just the main areas. They were screaming obscenities- the toilet seat was loose- the conditioner dispenser was broken- the water pressure was horrible- no one addressed our complaints
