Erin was PHENOMENAL! The smell in here felt like home, a treat that I missed! I am so excited to try all the different foods and items right from their ready to eat! Love this place and vibe!

Bought chicken thighs on Friday and they went bad in the fridge in 24 hrs. Would not recommend .

Stopped in at this small stand alone market today to grab some steaks for Mother's Day. It is currently undergoing some renovations but is still open. Just be careful which door you enter bc if you walk by the guys working they won't stop running stuff like power tools so you can enter. The shop had several cuts on sale or in the display case to include bone-in ribeye, boneless ribeye and filets. They will also cut steaks to order. They had several specials going on but I opted for 5-8 ounce NY Strips which were on sale for 4 for $20 or single for $5.99 each. I also grabbed some twice baked potatoes. The staff was personable and attentive and wrapped everything up for me in butcher paper. They will also offer suggestions if you need help. I also grabbed some of the barbecue they smoke on site. I grabbed a quarter rack of ribs for $7.99 and some smoked wings (can't remember the price). They also sell fresh vegetables, seafood and homemade chicken salad. I walked out the door with everything for around $54. Felt like a good deal and value. If you were in a pinch for a meal on the grill you could walk in there and grab everything you need.

I must say that the customer service here is above and beyond. I went to pick up my turkey today, but my order was not correct. I didn't get the woman's name, but she went out of her way to make me a happy customer again. I didn't yell or make a scene, but I did feel a tear trickle down my cheek (since I though I would have no turkey for Thanksgiving) when she told me about my order. I'm glad to know that there are still businesses out there that care about the customer! Oh, and I cried all the way home because of how much she cared!!! I've always liked Carroll's Meats, but now I love them! Happy Thanksgiving!!

I visited Carroll's with a friend that wanted to pick up some freezer meats. I browsed the sections and they had all sorts of exotic meats to the regular standard beef and chicken for the average person.I cant say that I was overly impressed with the prices although the cuts of beef seemed very nice it was pricey. There were some cuts that I had never heard of and I was told they were the best cuts and best cooked on the more rare side. Rare would never fly in my household so that expensive piece of meat was not to be on this shopping trip, in fact I opted not to buy anything based on the prices. I can do better when I watch the weekly sales flyer at the local supermarkets.On the positive side, the store was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I did not see alot of people making large purchases just mostly small sales. They do sell king crab legs but bring some big cash for those crabbys for sure!

This is an otherwise great local meat shop whose reputation is being ruined by a cashier who refuses to wear a mask on the grounds of " claustrophobia" and resulting high blood pressure. She interfaces with every paying customer, comes out from behind the register and stands 2-3 feet from customers and cares not one wit that she may be infecting others. It's all about her. Obviously, the management and owner allows her to do this. Though I really do like the store's great selection and prices, I do not intend to shop here again until the Pandemic is completely over. This woman does not think local public health ordinances apply to her and the store is flouting city ordinances as well. This is the second time I have encountered this cashier. I am going to make a complaint to the city.

4-$20 filet mignon! nuff-said. This place is a great family owned butcher. When you walk in the first thing I noticed was how clean and not smelly it was in the store. The butcher will cut bacon with skin or without which is a huge plus and they offer specials all over the place. Locally owned, great prices and good quality meat. You walk in and the first thing you smell is the smoked meats. Great atmosphere, friendly patrons and attentive staff.Looking forward to what they have in plan for the future.

This will now be my go to meat store!AND THANK YOU CARROLS GOR ALLOWING YOUR CASHIERS TO CHOOSE WHATS BEST FIR THEM & LETTING THEM KEEP THEIR JOBS WHEN THEIR WAS SO MUCH INSANITY, and SHEEP BEHAVIOR. Had the meat I was seeking. They were super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I'll go back and often.
