So last night was our monthly daytina food truck rally. This was the truck we ate from. It's was all delicious except for the bodain balls. They weren't what I'm use tp eating. They were still good, though, just not my favorite. I got macaroni and cheese topped with pulled pork bacon and nacho cheese and BBQ sauce. My husband got the swamp monster, which was fries pulled pork bbq sauce and jalapeños. Those two were very delicious but very greasy. Overall, I was happy!

First time going to a Food Truck Friday and after doing some research I knew Cajun Cravins is where I had to be. After reviewing the online menu I had 2 entrees in mine. One was the Shrimp-N-Grits and the other was the Big Easy Po-Boy. Once in line I got a glimpse of the menu and saw no Shrimp-N-Grits so that made my decision much easier. I went with the Big Easy Po'Boy with Fried Shrimp. I also had to try a side of the Jambalaya as well. After ordering it took about 15-20 minutes at lest to get my food. Just seemed like a pretty long wait in my book. Once I received my food I was so ready to eat. I quickly open up my Po'Boy and dug in. The shrimp were flavorful and perfectly cooked. It was a very tasty Po'Boy but I do which there were more shrimp in it. The Jambalaya on the other hand was perfect. Best I have had in the last 5 to 7 years. I would reorder both again just hoping for a shorter wait next time and a few more shrimp in my Po'Boy.

I enjoy their food very much but they're hardly in Jax these days. My favorites are the shrimp po'boy and Creole.

I was a little disappointed since I really wanted to try the crab cake. Crab anything was out so I opted for the shrimp taco with french fries. I'd say that the taco was pretty tasty but the fries were just okay.AJ was nice and food was served up fairly quickly considering he was the one taking the order, processing payments and making the food that day. I'll have to come back another time and check them out!

Very disappointed by this food truck at the seafood festival. The line for ordering was reasonable, however, I waited over 45 minutes for this cold crawfish etouffee, which was watery and swimming in oil. Even the rice was sticky and clumpy. I understand they were busy but this item was clearly pre made and very disappointing. It did have plenty of crawfish tails otherwise I would leave one star.

Oh my goodness - we're talking Cajun Cravins goodness!! I broke protocol and queued up for lunch around 1230 thinking I was "in the clear" and looking forward to no wait.Well there was a bunch of folks waiting after quickly placing their orders for Po' Boys etc but it was worth the wait especially since that Red Beans and Rice with Smoked Sausage was savory delicious and there's no doubt that it looked and tasted like a newly cooked batch! The jambalaya was the perfect spiciness with moist flavorful rice just like I like it! Both entrees for $10 total!Add Cajun Cravins to my Food Truck rotation! Truly amazing Cajun Cuisine and they earned the Big Easy thumbs up from this NOLA dude!

Second time around and still impressed. We ordered a shrimp po boy (again), swamp monster fries and something amazing with a macaroni and cheese base, pulled pork and bacon amazingness. Mac and cheese had to be homemade, so good! Our food was ready within 10 minutes. Only complaint is they were sold out of boudin balls. I've heard great things about them.

I have visited this truck once before. They come to my office every now and again. This time I was really wanting some good food when I saw them on the schedule. I do remember the owner was working all alone that first visit. I know he was busy prepping and getting ready for the lunch rush but he still took the time to answer my questions. Mainly, what was his favorite dish that he serves. He said the most popular was the jambalaya but his favorite was red beans and rice. So I got that with sausage. Flavored hadn't quite melded together (you know that whole taste better a day later? It was missing that great flavor) a little salt fixed that but the cornbread was delish! I'll post pics of I can find them. The second go around I went with the large jambalaya bowl which was $7. It was super flavorful. Came with chicken, pork and bacon. Had one piece of flappy undercooked bacon that I couldn't really eat, but everything else was tasty. I added a little hot sauce and it was great. Enough for lunch and dinner! I'll be working my way through the menu.

I've been to this truck several times. Some times were great, some just ok. Its a Cajun based truck (of course) so it's offerings are all routed in traditional good from LA. I only ever get the shrimp because they're are Gulf shrimp. It matters. The taste as undeniable. Ive gotten the Po Boys which I enjoy most. The bread is New Orleans french bread, which matters. The flaky outer and soft inside is everything. I've also had the jambalaya and red beans. I'm not a fan of both. Once the jamalaya had an etoufee feel. There were more rice than beans. The rice was mushy. Once the got it right and but the flavor was a bit off.He is a one-man show so sometimes it's can yakeonget than desired. I would wholeheartedly recommend eating from this truck if you want some authentic flavors.

I had the great fortune to have this wonderful food truck visit my neighborhood tonight. I was very pleased to meet AJ and his son. AJ grew up very near New Orleans and his food is an awesome representation of authentic Cajun cooking. The Red Beans and Rice with homemade sausage was outstanding. Sausage was pure heaven and the beans and rice were incredible. The Shrimp and Grits was delicious with fresh Mayport shrimp. Truly authentic again. I highly recommend them. Also, they went to high levels to protect against Covid-19. They earned my respect.
