This is THE SPOT for Golf Instruction , Custom Club Fitting, and a GOOD ASS TIME. You've passed this place a million times but there is so much more than meets the eye. I broke my driver the first day of a long golf trip, Don worked a miracle. One of the coolest freakin dudes in the world. Buddies of mine have gotten lessons from him. Now he's beating my ass.Has a real grass putting green in the front that you can use and chill. Let's get this guy trending!

Opened in 1995, Caddyshack Golf & Teaching is a golf store located in Jacksonville Beach, dedicated to golf clubs, golf clothing or other golf equipment essential for avid local golfers. Now I don't know the first darn thing about golfing, well, except how not to hit the ball! So I can't tell you what is good, better or best, but I know these guys have it. From drivers to Fairway woods and hybrid clubs, these folks can hook you up and then teach you how to use them. Makes me want to hit up the 19th hole already!

This place is a diamond in the, "rough". Coach Don has been patiently working with my 4 year old for the past 6 months. Don truly loves golf, and loves teaching others to love the game too. I am amazed at the foundation he has already laid with Nate in roughly a dozen lessons. He is still only four, but you can tell he is receiving value when he all of a sudden adapts to what the coach just told him to do. As a parent I am impressed with knowing that several of his students have become professional golfers. Hey....you never know.It is also cool to hear of the recent places he's taught, and who famous did he run into last week. Could of been an NFL quarterback or somebody on the A list from Hollywood. If you live nearby, (recently someone was coming in for a lesson from 1.5 hours away as we were leaving), you can't beat having an international golf professional teach you in a laid back beach environment.Some golf prodigies play tournaments on the PGA, and other golf prodigies teach golf. FYI.....there is the second kind of golf prodigy giving lessons at CaddyShack.

I just retired and moved to Florida. I was looking for someone to help me improve my golf swing. In the last couple of years I've gone from shooting in the low 90's to now having a hard time breaking 100. After looking for a good golf teacher to help me improve my swing, I'm happy to report that I've found the right guy in Don. I've had 2 one hour lessons with Don and can say I've made a lot of improvement. Don uses modern technology to tape my swing to help me identify my issues and work on corrections. He even has a real putting green in front of his shop (with a sand trap) to help work on chipping & putting. The best part is Don is a great guy and communicator. Now I have played golf for over 50 years and taken several lessons from golf professionals but Don is quite simply the best and I highly recommend him.

I have been golfing for a few years now and have learned along the way that most golf stores pay their employees commission.. Not here, Don and his staff are here to help you better your game and more importantly enjoy yourself while playing and the easiest way is with the proper equipment.. Being able to talk to a professional golfer with a professional staff makes the process so much easier.. Buying anywhere else would be ludicrous. I strongly recommend this spot for all your golfing needs...
