Nice spot to enjoy a bite to eat and the beach while staying at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort. With a couple of dining options providing both indoor and outdoor seating, a couple of bars, a large pool area and private beach access with chairs and the other conveniences available, this is a must do while you're staying at the Marriott. The free shuttle to and from the main resort property makes it convenient and easy to get to. I'm not sure I understand why the Cabana Club is classified (as of 5/15/17) a dance club on Yelp. I sure didn't see any evidence of a dance club. Regardless, check it out!

I have been a member of Cabana Beach club for over seven years. The staff, the service, and Cleanliness is exemplary! From the weight staff, to Management, to maintenance. The employees are so friendly and treat you like family. This is a lot of the reason I chose this club because it is very family oriented, and also treat the children so well.! Restaurants and the rooftop bar is spectacular! It has great ambience and beautiful views. I would highly recommend you to try this place you will not be disappointed !!

As a member since 2017, I have to say they have significantly gone down hill. It used to be a great fun family place to swim, eat, listen to live music at the pool. Kids could run between the beach and the pool and it was a place that was always full of families enjoying the club until it closed. They have since (when new restaurant opened in 2023) become a very dissapointing club for many of us members. Towels often not available, rude staff managing towels, pool restaurant closes at 5pm, formal restaurant too fancy for swim suit dining, no move live music by the pool, towel service closes at 6pm, and they recently installed gates at the beach access that will require a fob to get off the beach. So members/ or hotel guests will need a key or fob to enter. So every time your kids need to use a rest room, parents will have to escort them to get through gate. We used to eat there 3-4 nights a week as a family and now it might be once every couple of months. So sad- we miss our family friendly club!! I would never rejoin if I had this to look forward to as a new member.

Beautiful beach! Soft sand with a great sunrise. A strip or sharper shells to walk across but it's also a great place to look for shells. Great chair and umbrella service once you're on the beach, No one on duty when you walk in though so make sure you know what you're doing. I was expecting one person to greet me or offer customer service upon arrival. But I'm sure since Covid they've been short staffed. The pool is gorgeous. Not too crowded yet pretty full on a mild Sunday afternoon. The rest is overrated. The bartenders ignored me while I patiently waited at the register near them - only three feet away from them while they finished their personal conversations. I thought that with the price of membership the food would a bit better and the restrooms a little more posh. Some stalls were out of TP so it felt almost like a public beach bathroom in Venice, CA. But you know it's the beach and it's a great life and I'm very grateful to have spent time there. Just surprised when I heard the yearly club membership prices. HOW? I merely rated it appropriately.

After 17 years as a member of the Cabana Club doing pretty much exactly the same thing, now when I stop to get a cup of water on my bike ride down Ponte Vedra Blvd. multiple of the workers there hassle me. I'm there for about 10 minutes but they make a federal case out of it. Apparently, people with surf boards and bikes aren't welcome at the beach, or at least this beach (club). The Lodge and PV Inn and Club both have bike racks at the front gate, and accommodate surf boards too. Go figure -- surf boards at the beach -- crazy right?!?!STAY AWAY -- definitely Junior Varsity here....

As a member, over the last few years, I have watched membership benefits decline, and the prices increased dramatically (the yearly dues have almost doubled in the last two years alone, while the initiation fee shot up to 30k!). Parking has become a nightmare with the rebuilt restaurant using the member parking for valet services for public restaurant guests - evening walks now mean dodging the valets dashing in and out of the parking lot and having to park on the far side of the parking lot since they take all the closer ones. Summer parking now forces you to deal with valets "for free" (right, have you ever had a valet you didn't have to tip??) when all you want to do is park and unload your car, and then go to your car when you're done. The last thing I want to do is deal with a valet in 100 degree heat - what they had told the members was that there would be valet service available IF the parking lot filled up. Not that they were TAKING the parking lot and giving it to the valet service. Towels have become a joke, and the "amenities" (showers, bathrooms, pool) etc, are starting to look really tired. I am not sure how long I will retain my membership as it's rapidly losing its value to me, however, with a waiting list, I feel like that's actually what they are hoping for - chase the old members off to grab new ones at the new initiation fee. It's really clear they place far more value on the restaurant and Marriott customers than they do the members who have loyally paid dues and bought services all throughout the years.
