"Picasso's never misses a beat with their exceptional service and fresh food. The dishes are always unique and amazingly good. The table could not stop talking about how great the shrimp n grits were. I was amazed at how tender and flavorful the NY strip was. Picasso's is always slammed but the experience never wanes. I love the casual vibe especially with such elevated dishes. Picasso's, keep doing what you're doing, this place is def a hidden gem!"
"Excellent food and service.Catullo's is head and shoulders above any other Italian I've had in this area. The Pear Fiocchi is delicious and the citrus olive oil cake was a great desert. Good place for dinner and incredibly friendly / engaged staff."

Jerk chicken is a popular Jamaican dish known for its flavorful and spicy profile. It involves marinating chicken in a blend of spices and herbs, which often includes ingredients like scotch bonnet peppers, allspice, thyme, garlic, and ginger. The marinated chicken is then traditionally cooked over a wood fire or grill, imparting a smoky and aromatic quality to the meat.

"First time here at Taverna ever and we went for Brunch! The ambiance and atmosphere inside was so cute & cozy (leftover from Christmas) and our server was engaging and kind. The burrata, meat and fig spread were a yummy start....the only dislike was the side of eggs tasting like they were swimming in pesto and barely tasted any egg but all in all still a delicious brunch. I will definitely be coming back for dinner!"
"This was our 3rd bar stop of the day and it did not disappoint. Our server was amazing and I'm sad I forgot to ask her her name for the kudos. Here we had some martinis, French 75s, and some egg roll apps.. YUM!If you like a dessert in a glass the key lime pie martini was yummy and tasted like some ice cream almost."
"I lost a bet to my husband and this was where he cashed in his winnings. However, I basically won too! Food is a 9.8/10. Always delicious. The seafood combo with angel hair pasta is my go to. The holiday special drink biscotti martini was delicious and sweet. The espresso martini was good. They don't make it with real espresso but the cold brew works too. Service was spectacular. We sat at the bar. Ambiance is amazing. The piano man takes tips and requests. We requested some Frank Sinatra."
"Oh my goodness! The food is delicious! Everything I have tried has given me a reason to continue coming here. And the owner is so nice! I love it here!"
"We had a great experience dining here! The place is beautiful inside. I think they also have tables outside. Our server was fantastic! I forgot his name but he reminds me of Aquaman lol, He gave us recommendations and even offered if we wanted another bread while waiting for our meal. My husband got the Slow Braised Boneless Beef Shortribs. They were tender and flavorful! I also liked the Brussels sprouts, whipped potatoes and onions rings that came with it. As for me, I ordered the Cantonese Style Whole Local Snapper. Super crispy, flaky and the mango sauce has the perfect blend of sweet and sour. Delicious! The only downside was I couldn't see the bones as the lighting in the dining area was dark, I suggest to order this during lunch or dinner outside. For dessert, we got the bread pudding and latte to end the night. So good! I would definitely recommend Aqua Grill to my friends when planning our group dinners!"
"Ordered To-Go for lunch. Giant portions! Ordered online and got there at the expected time. The food was ready and piping hot when I opened it. I'm a soup snob. So I didn't have a high expectation for the soup. But when I tasted the Italian Wedding Ball Soup I let out an audible "oh wow". It is delicious!!! Shrimp was cooked perfectly on the scampi and it was good, what you expect in a scampi. Loads of garlic. The squeeze of lemon they put in container made it pop. The staff were really friendly. Overall to go experience was great."
"Firebird's Fish Tacos (Crispy) were a delightful surprise on a recent lunch outing celebrating a friend's promotion. The tacos themselves were a perfect blend of crunch and flavor, with each bite feeling like a little fiesta in my mouth. Loved the tasteful blend of the cabbage, charred corn salsa, spicy sriracha and sour cream. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for without being intrusive. The ambiance--an inviting mix of modern and cozy--set the perfect backdrop for our mid-day celebration. Overall, it was a good experience that combined fantastic food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere."
"4.5/5 The seafood is very fresh and the view was nice! The service was slightly slow, but expected since we came during a dinner rush. The meals we ordered were well put together. We'd recommend the grouper, poke tacos, and the raw seafood! Puttanesca was very generous with their seafood variety and size, but the sauce was pretty sour- so not our favorite. Overall, this place is pretty good for people who appreciate quality seafood."
"I love the Neptune beach southern grounds location. Although it gets busy on weekends, I can always find space to work on my projects. The food is absolutely delicious and there are many dietary options. I love Sogro coffee and sometimes even enjoy drinking it black to enjoy the bold flavor."

Oh Picasso's... A gem, truly a gem. This spot is tucked away into an unsuspecting strip mall in Mandarin just across the Buckman which is a solid 30 minute drive for us, but well worth the trek. Entering the restaurant you're promptly greeted by the host/hostess who will probably apologize that there will be a short wait. (A good sign) No worries, you're seated in the small, but quaint restaurant with large booths to accommodate parties of 6-8 along with freestanding tables. Once you're seated you can read a bit of their background and philosophy; a St. Louis native, plopped down into Jacksonville to share his culinary expertise. You're greeted by STL staples like toasted ravioli, cracker-thin STL style pizza, and gooey butter cake to round things out --tempting for a fellow Saint Louis-an. But, my goodness, the pastas, freshly made in house with care. Premium, fresh ingredients, portions with flexibility to share, though you won't want to. Impressive wine selection to pair. If the quality of your food didn't convince you how much these small business owners care about your experience, maybe chat up the owners themselves who frequently make rounds throughout their establishment to ensure you leave with the most satisfyingly perfect meal in tow. Okay okay, great dinner spot but it's midday and I just need to grab a bite. My friends, grab a Philly cheesesteak for the road or any of there other lovely sandwiches. All-in-all, this place goes above and beyond, is priced exceptionally fairly for the quality/quantity and remains my favorite spot in town for pizza/pasta.

I've been wanting to go back to Catullo's since my birthday dinner four years ago; so, we ventured out on Christmas Eve for dinner. I emailed to confirm they would be open and was pleasantly surprised when I received an immediate reply. This is a very quaint restaurant with limited seating. For anyone who has never been here, please note they do not take reservations so you need to get in line EARLY. Yes, get in line like the soup Seinfeld episode. I mulled over dinner options all day, but when the rubber met the road our server graciously gave me her recommendations and she was spot on. We started with the spicy arancini and followed up with lasagna and ravioli with chicken breasts. We were so stuffed; but gluttony wouldn't be denied. We ordered a cannoli and a slice of lemoncello cake. I can't wait to go back again. There's a risotto calling my name.

Arguably one of the best brunch spots in Jax. Long warm and cozy bar with fantastic drinks and service. Their espresso martinis are a ten-out-of-ten! Their crab cake eggs Benedict are fantastic. If you're a carnivore, check out their hanger steak and eggs; a home run on a plate. If you're in to great food at reasonable prices, Taverna is your go-to!

The cocktails get a 5/5, but the food brings it down for me unfortunately. We started off super strong - my sister and I came for the Miracle Christmas pop-up and they were able to seat us a little earlier than our reservation which was great! The drink options and the Christmas mugs they came in were so festive and fun. They even had light up Christmas hats for us to wear and take home because we made a reservation. The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas - lights and garland everywhere! My sis got the Chrismopolitan which was delicious and I ordered the yippee ki-yay drink which was so festive, but I liked the classic flavor of her drink a bit better. I will say food and drinks are on the expensive side here. My drink was $19 and I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries which was $20. The chicken sandwich description said "juicy chicken thighs" but it was the driest chicken sandwich I've had in a while, and it didn't help they put the smallest dollop of chipotle mayo on it. I asked for more mayo, but it honestly didn't help. The fries also tasted stale and as if there was no potato in them. Overall we would definitely come back for the creative drink options and friendly service, but probably would eat somewhere else. Drinks & experience get a 5/5 while food gets a 2 from me. But maybe there are other items on their menu that taste better!

We went for an early dinner as we know Enza's can get busy after 6pm. We ordered two glasses of house Chardonnay, no appetizers as we knew we were going to get the pasta fagioli soup. Noelle was our server and was pleasant in greeting us and describing the specials. I ordered the veal parmesan and my wife ordered Chicken Francese. The meals were big and delicious. The restaurant was quiet and comfortable. The only drawback was the service was a bit slow for not being very busy. Still I think it's one of the best Italian restaurant in the area.

Irie Diner is so good! I have never had a bad experience and the customer service was top tier. The food is so great. And the energy of the place really brought my whole experience to a 10/10. I usually order online but it is just as good as going into the restaurant. Truly 5 stars if you like Carribean food try Irie Diner!

Friday Night Dinner with My Love. We were promptly seated upon arrival and the ambiance was a cozy and inviting atmosphere. To start, our server brought over a complimentary cinnamon-sugar bread that was warm, but just ok. For the mains, my wife ordered the whole snapper while I chose the short rib. We couldn't resist swapping plates halfway through to experience both dishes. The short rib was rich and flavorful. The fish was also delightful, though I wasn't a huge fan of the side it came with. Just okay to me, but my wife really enjoyed it.For dessert, we shared the bread pudding with cappuccino and it was yummilicious! The perfect sweet ending to a wonderful meal.Overall, the service was attentive and friendly. A lovely evening all around.

This is fine Italian dining. I loved the place. I had the chicken Alfredo Fettuccine, soup, bread and butter. Everything was so delicious! My co-Worker, Brenda told me about this place and it was on my bucket list of places to go. So, I had planned to come here after my visit at Millie's for. Yelp event. Well guess what?! Poppy's was next door to Millie's. Too funny. So, I walked over after the ice cream nachos. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Food was very good. My Server was very attentive. Brenda told me about the "Early Bird Special", so I had that. It was like a lunch portion. It was still a huge amount of great Italian food. I ate about three bites and I was full. So, my Waitress was happy to box it up for me. I am looking forward to dining here again soon.

"I have nothing at all but the highest remarks when it comes to Matthews. We sat at the chefs table and had an amazing time. It was quite the experience. We watched the food being prepped. The cooks in the kitchen explained several of the dishes to us. We were treated to extra bites (sample tasting). The food was amazing. The portions were perfect for all the courses we received with our order. While this isn't your every night out spot as it is quite $$$. It's definitely a place to come celebrate a special night, spend a pretty penny, but leave happy and satisfied."
"Nice place, good service, good food but I wouldn't go back. Dropped a chunk of $$$ for good."
"Very delish good, the service was quick. I have celiac and there were very delish options for me. I has the chicken vindaloo and some butter chicken. Both very delicious"
"Really enjoyed the ambience in the outdoor space. Service was prompt and professional and food was amazing. We especially enjoyed the chef's specials of the day. Only negative was the mussels which had a slightly sweeter sauce that wasn't our favorite. But everything over all was very well cooked and flavored!"
"This is one of our favorite place. No reservation required and will always get served.Food was excellent and very freshAmbiance is clean and cozy.Try it and you will love it."
"Love the staff, mostly family, their attention to details, desire to be welcoming, and friendly nature is greatly appreciated! The home made food is always a great treat. Occasionally there might be live music, a belly dancers, or fun locals to brighten the space. Never leave without a smile, Thanks!!!!!!"
"Wow! The inside is so cute ! Nice bar area with plenty of tables! The back yard is the best if you're here when it's not hot! The service was great!i had the French Malbec to drink which was great ! The pretzel was 10/10, beer cheese to die for! I really enjoyed the bratwurst plate with potato salad and sauerkraut! It's better than you think so try it even if you think you don't like it!"
"We love discovering new local coffee shops and Round Bird was such a nice find. WHO KNEW that Butter Pecan and Lavender went together so well?? I tried that latte because of them and now I'm obsessed. The inside is dope, really cool hanging lights and the kind of coffeeshop vibe you look for. There was a decent amount of people there at the time, but that didn't stop anything from getting us our lattes quick. It's a little far from us, otherwise we would be visiting much more often!"
"I was in the mood for some Pasta so I stopped in on the way home one day, quaint spot looks like what I imagine an authentic Italian Restaurant would look like. The sever promptly greeted me and took my order, didn't take very long as they were not busy at that time, by the time I left the place was half full. The Pasta dish was really good, lots of very well balanced flavors. I also ordered the Soup, I don't remember the name of it but it was really good."
"I was thrilled to learn about Breezy thanks to a holiday Yelp event back in December- but it took me forever to get my tooshie out to Breezy to actually enjoy a cup of coffee and treat! I did treat my son and we had a lovely morning sipping coffee outside at one of the tables and enjoying breakfast. I went with their house blend and had a little somethin-somethin added, day drinking! Yes, they offer spiked coffee. Eddie had an iced coffee, again- their house blend, which is delicious! He had a breakfast pita- bacon, egg and cheese which he inhaled and I nibbled on some freshly made coffee cake. The owner here is super sweet and the whole experience is just lovely. I need to make this part of my routine and get out here more often. Fresh baked goods and wonderful coffee is a no-brainer! Just go and enjoy!"
"Finally got to experience the awesome ambiance at the FxB and ordered the House special with lamb as most dishes are served with Falafel-chickpeas, parsley and over 10 spices, a yummy staple from the Middle East.We got Hummus, Marinated Olives, Green Shatta and Tzatziki housemate with Levantine sauces. They are really delicious. What stood out the most was the Crispy Fried Brussell Sprouts for $9.95. Never have I ever would love the way it was cooked and tasted- Thanks for the recommendation and service Mary and Sandy and the rest of the FxB Fam, great food and company does bring people together especially during these times. We will definitely be back to try out other goodies and will attend the Trivia on Thursday#supportlocal904"
"I was looking for a new place to chill in the afternoons, because I got tired of the same ol same and I must say the Flamingo is pretty dope. The service and coffee were great and I will definitely be returning."
"How can you not give 5 stars to a place that is looking to help stray and injured cats? And on top of that, you can get a coffee or a lemonade as well. They have a small little gift shop too, where you can purchase cat toys, treats, etc. to help out too.Once you're inside, you can go into the "cat" room where there are toys of every size and shape for all the kitties. Plenty of places to sit down and play with the cats as well. Kudos to the owners for their commitment to helping these animals."
"After having a few lets downs in St Augustine concerning food and service, Aviles Restaurant here in the Hilton Historic Bayfront made everything miles better. The food was absolutely delicious and unique. To start off, My partner ordered a "Blue Energy" Cocktail which consisted of Vodka, Crushed Blueberries and Housemade Lemonade. And let me just say that after tasting this cocktail, the homemade lemonade makes miles of a difference. We were also served bread and butter, but this isnt just ANY bread and butter, the butter is housemade and garnished with pink peppercorn for a unique taste and experience. I was awe struck with the simple yet delicious taste of the butter! For appetizers, we had the Knife & Fork Latin Bruschetta, which consisted of Grilled Arepa, Mojo Beef Rips, Grilled Tostone, Chimichurri, Avocado and Cotilja Cheese. The Beef Tips were extremely tender and juicy, they were obviously professionally made. The avocado was fresh and ripe and by the time we finished, we wished we could order more. Moving onward to the entrées, I decided to be boujee for the night and ordered the 40oz Prime Tomahawk Chop for $128. While the price may be a little steep, if you're able to order this dish, I would highly recommend it. The pictures attached speak for themselves, the tomahawk was cooked to perfection with my preference of medium-rare. Its was so incredibly tender and juicy that I could see the juices flow out when I cut it. The tomahawk featured a honey-chiptole glaze that complimented the meat further. On the sides, I ordered potato fingers and asparagus which both were also cooked perfectly. The potatos were very warm and tender, and seasoned excellently. My partner ordered the 16oz Prime NY Strip Steak which she described as being one of the best she has had. This means alot coming from her because she doesnt typically order steaks or meats from restaurants. From what I could tell, the meat was cooked to her preference and the sides were seasoned well to compliment each other. Now were are up to deserts. I ordered a Creme Brûlée and my partner ordered a Key Lime Pie with White Chocolate. Both were extremely delicious and complimented what we ate very well. Now onto the best part of this experience: The service. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with such a high level of decency and respect. The host seated us at a high top table and our server, I have the pleasure to say, was one of the best I have ever had. Sheraz came here all the way from France and her skills and attention to detail are unparalleled. She waited on us and made sure we had everything we could ever need. We talked about ourselves, and all of our ambitions and dreams. It was a very refreshing experience to have a server we could talk to and feel so connected with. Thank you Sheraz for making not only our visit to Aviles memorable, but our visit to St. Augustine excellent. We hope to return again soon!"
"Excellent! No complaints here. Cooked to perfection. Plenty of space for large groups."
"We love North Beach Fish Camp and have been coming ever since we moved here in 2018. The service is always amazing and the food is always consistent. We always take guests visiting from out of town. We haven't been in a little while, but we ended up going for our anniversary last night. The manager (Rob) sat us, and we got to talking because we always see him as a customer at another restaurant we frequent and got to talking. As busy as they were he made us feel like we were the only patrons. He went above and beyond, just like the servers always do. We will definitely be adding this back into our frequent restaurant rotation. Thanks for the great service!!"
