"The food is amazing and the service was excellent. Great place to go for a steak. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. I will go back and very soon. It is also very reasonably priced. Do not miss trying this Colombian Steakhouse."
"If you are looking for an upscale, classy and romantic place for a special event, date, or celebration, then you have found the right place here! The ambiance is amazing! The decor is fabulous! It is a 3 story restaurant with a rooftop bar and fabulous view of Jacksonville. Cowford was recommended to me by a Yelpie friend, who had been here several times and I am grateful to him. Be sure to make reservations because this place is super popular. Our server was Kennedy, who was very welcoming, attentive and professional with a good personality! We teased him and called him Mr. President. This was back on 12/21/24. He knew the menu inside and out. My daughter and I ordered the filet mignon with the dish of AuGratin potatoes. We were raving about how delicious our meal was! Simply perfection! I wish we didn't live so far away so we could come here more often. To accompany our meals, my daughter ordered the Judy Z Mia Mia cocktail and I had the Florida Old Fashioned. Both drinks were very good! We ended our evening with a couple of incredibly delicious desserts. My daughter had the Cinnamon Roll Creme Brulee, which she loved. I had the Chocolate cake, which wasn't your ordinary slice of cake but some perfectly delicious round lava type cake that was out of this world good! I still remember how it melted in my mouth! It was served with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Fantastic. 5/5 stars! We loved where we were seated on the second floor right next to the open space in the middle where we could look down into the 1st Floor at the bar. That was so cool! We were so pleased to be there. We chose valet parking but there may be street parking or a parking garage near by. Their elevator is very roomy with a wooden wall carving. I'm still not sure what it represented but it was very interesting. We had a great evening and can't wait to return."

"Firebird's Fish Tacos (Crispy) were a delightful surprise on a recent lunch outing celebrating a friend's promotion. The tacos themselves were a perfect blend of crunch and flavor, with each bite feeling like a little fiesta in my mouth. Loved the tasteful blend of the cabbage, charred corn salsa, spicy sriracha and sour cream. The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel welcomed and well-cared for without being intrusive. The ambiance--an inviting mix of modern and cozy--set the perfect backdrop for our mid-day celebration. Overall, it was a good experience that combined fantastic food, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere."
"Hana Yori after thoughts - place is simply yet elegantly furnished that reminds me of my days in Okinawa, the square patron personalized wooden planks that surround the walls are a wonderful touch of Japanese decor. Table settings are spacious & clean. Attendants are friendly & quick in service.Dinner selections:Sushi Plate (served with Cali & Tempura Rolls, after served, learnt it was the correct amount paired with the 5 nigiri sushi selected by chef) - fish was fresh & served exactly like sushi in Okinawa - with thin wasabi placed between the fish & rice. THIS IS NOW #1 in my JAX SUSHI SPOT just for quality, preparation & portions!!! Wasabi & ginger (Gari) is good quality as well. This meal is served with salad, opting for ginger dressing that was crisp, cool & a delight start of my meal.Extra order: Yellowtail & California Roll - both correctly rolled into bite size pieces, not huge like other restaurants that can be difficult to place in one's mouth, making consumption an unpleasant experience. Repeat, 2 extra rolls would have been difficult to finish if Mom was not present to assist. 2 rolls included in "Sushi Plate" is perfect for 1 person.Shrimp & White Fish Combo Hibachi with teriyaki sauce on the side (normally served over white fish) - Mom enjoyed this dish, fish was good portion, vegetables were delicately cooked & the shrimps were plenty, cooked to perfection.Recommendations: hot tea, tolerable but could be better quality "green tea" that is meant to enhance the sushi meal. Clear soup served with sushi, also tolerable but needs refinement in overall taste.A TRUE SUSHI LOVERS MUST TRY HOT SPOT!!! .5 of (4.5 of 5)"
"Came here on Mother's Day for a lovely dinner, the first time for my family. Dee was our server and she did an excellent job!! The service was great, we had 6pm reservations and some items on the menu were not available such as the roasted chicken, sea bass, or the fish special of the day. We were very happy she informed us. The food was delicious and we all had an excellent time. The valet was also an added bonus. We will definitely be back in the future. Thanks so much to the staff at III Forks, it was a wonderful evening!! Please give them a try and ignore the negative reviews from bots and spam."
"Down and Dirty: Delicious food beautifully plated. Service was not the best. Drinks were tasty. Ambiance was chaotic. Food was very pricey. Probably won't go again. Made reservations for my 40th birthday with 8 of my closest friends. We drank and dined on delicious food/cocktails. Pricing was a bit ridiculous but knew that going in. Wouldn't come again unless it was for a really special occasion. Service was decent. Kendall was our server. As the "birthday girl" I was disappointed that I was the last person the waiter asked for food/drink order. He really didn't treat me like a special guest or make sure I was cared for like you'd expect from a pricing upscale establishment on your birthday. To top it off, I got no dessert for my birthday or even asking if I wanted to order dessert. Not impressed. Atmosphere was not great. We were sat in a room at the far back left and had i guess 3-4 other parties in there. It was so loud I could barely hear the conversation at my table. I had to yell to communicate. Not what you want at an upscale dinner for your 40th birthday."
"great place for dinner!!!We were traveling from south Florida to Jacksonville Stoped here and were very happy The ribeye stake was super good One of the best I ever ate !The service and atmosphere are great Over all it's a 10 out of 10."
"Early dinner for us, we arrived at about 545p on a weekday and were seated immediately. Our server, Jay, took our drink orders while we took a look at the menus. We ordered sushi & 4 hibachi entrees. They were large servings. I barely finished my chicken hibachi entree, because I was full from Sushi (both rolls were tasty!) We all really enjoyed our dinner and will be back soon! Thanks for the great meal, service & atmosphere, Otaki!Side note: the parking lot gets crowded. Especially during the day."

Last two times I've been in Jacksonville we've come to eat at this wonderful restaurant. The servers are very nice and friendly. I did have the same older Colombian lady each time. First time I ordered the ribeye and it is very good. It is seasoned differently. Definitely feels more like a steakhouse but there's a lot of Spanish speaking going on which gives it more authenticity. The side portions are kinda small so you may want to double on some. I like the yuca fritas and Maduros.

The food, service, & ambience in this restaurant were amazing. We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday & did not regret it. The steak with a little bleu cheese on it was chefs kiss. I can't wait to go back!

Ate here last night (Friday) for date night with my husband. I was disappointed compared to prior visits. Service was slow and my entree (the Tomahawk pork chop) was undercooked so I had to send it back to be cooked fully. Flavor was good but I couldn't enjoy the experience by that point. I hope this was just an off night and not their new standard.

Food here is great. The staff is so welcoming and really do their best to turn over tables. Lovely decor and a decent sized space. Expect a wait at dinner, especially on weekends.

Arrived at 6:30 in the 24 th to celebrate an anniversary. While drink order was taken promptly didnt get a drink until 30 mins later. Noticed my drink sat on bar undelivered for 20 mins. Ordered lobster bisque as an appetizer and over all not impressed as it had one small piece of lobster and soup really lacked taste. Order main entrees and steaks arrived hot and tasty. Side dishes were pretty good. Seemed like waitress would disappear for long periods. Overall at $200.00 plus for dinner and only one alcohol drink a very pricey evening.

Ah......Our second visit.Food is just amazing. They started off with a little teaser.Goat cheese, beet, and mango, I believe....Unexpectedly delicious. We then proceed with the grilled octopus and Caesar salad for our appetizer. The salad was perfection, and the octopus.....Dang!Flavorful and tender. Our mains were the Chilean sea bass, wagyu, and filet mignon. Each dish just amazing. We finalized the evening with the roasted banana cheesecake, and a chocolate mousse.Unfortunately not the mousse on the menu (guessing they were out), but instead something improvised.A dark chocolate mousse, with cake crumbles, strawberries and what appeared to be small cherry tomatoes.Odd, but it worked very well. The service was stellar, as we were well attended to. Our table had a little card on there, congratulating us on our anniversary. And they sent us off with a little extra: mango macaroons......The ambiance is nice and quiet, even as it was a busy evening. This place is highly recommended......

Surprisingly Mid! At these prices there's a basic expectation that certain things are taken for granted. But first, the good stuff:Servers and hostess were affable and kind. They were Easy to talk to and no one had that "I'm just here to work" vibe. My wife's martini (I think it was pineapple?) made her happy and most places leave her unimpressed. Of course decor and ambiance was excellent. I didn't use the bathroom though so I can't speak on the general condition of things. It was a slow night so I imagine everything was good there. Personally my dish (lemon half chicken) was great although my wife tried it and said the chicken was a little dry. I was satisfied. Now the other stuff - most of it is no big deal by themselves but it adds up: Missing ingredient from the drink I ordered from their menu with no real solution provided. My wife ordered truffle meatballs and truffle fries. The fries were fine but the meatballs tasted over-seasoned. We ate less than half of that dish. My friend ordered the lamb, medium, and i wish I had taken a picture of the very raw piece of meat she was given. YUCK! The server took it back and had the "executive chef" remake it, but again where is the attempt to make it right? By the time her food returned we were long past eating our meals and ready for dessert (Cobbler was excellent, bread pudding not so much), so she basically took her whole meal to go. She had to ask for a proper knife to cut the lamb both times it was served to her. (it's the little things) TL:drNot too bad, not too good. Order the chicken, a bottle of wine, and the cobbler. Stay away from lamb, meatballs, and anything requiring proper utensils.

We made a reservation for our party of 6 adults/ 3 children and WOW!! We had amazing service and our food was delicious with Tommy cooking on the hibachi. He made our daughter's birthday very special and was so attentive to my grandchildren. What a wonderful dinner and I highly recommend.

"It was all literally perfect. including the service, the food, and the boba teas very pleased with this place I would definitely come again"
"I don't know why Wasabi has 3 stars but it deserves 5. I took my kids here for lunch & we all enjoyed the experience as well as the food. I tend to compare every hibachi restaurant to Arigato Steakhouse in Greensboro, NC. I travel a good bit & I don't care where I've gone nothing has topped Arigato or even came close. So, normally I'm one visit and done. But, Wasabi was definitely a very strong second & I absolutely will be returning!"
"This place really does it right. Down home cooking and hospitality. Always a friendly smile from the staff and great service. I opted for the fish and shrimp special lunch blackened, cheesy grits, and vegetable of the day - stewed okra and tomatoes over rice. Everything was prepared perfectly but those stewed tomatoes and okra over rice hit the spot. I could've eaten that alone for lunch. We typically stop here for a meal when we golf on this side of town and they never disappoint."
"There was a lady playing with an electric cello that was delightful. The prime rib and the ribs were tender and well seasoned. Prices were very reasonable."
"Great Hibachi restaurant located in the River City Shopping area. Spacious parking and great scenery. The inside is spacious decorated and cozy with a lot of lighting. Our server Sky was hilarious and very talented. The rice was well seasoned as well as the vegetables and meats. I really enjoyed the food and the excellent service."
"Was traveling I-95 back to SC and just happened upon this place. I had been in the Florida Keys all week eating at great places on vaca. Didn't expect much since I was just trying to grab and go. Boy was I wrong. This place is a sleeper to say the least. The food was fresh"
"On an Atkins diet, but needed to feed the family and +1, who are not in a diet. No one is a huge seafood fan except me. Kid is coming along and her BF will try anything. So we picked this place. The staff? Exceptional, all of them. The food? FRESH and fast! Everything was fantastic. Wife rarely would give seafood a rating (she does love shrimp), but the hush puppies were fantastic. Both kids loved everything deviled crab, clam strips, Pop corn shrimp. None over cooed and dried out. I had blackened flounder which was also absolutely GREAT! The green beans they do some voodoo magic on. Pretty sure it involved bacon and bacon grease. I have never recommended (side) green beans. I will here. Portions were large. The salad veggies were crisp and fresh. I rarely give a 5 star, but the staff? They took it over the top. The entire time there were people waiting to be seated. That's a testament."
"Great lunch spot in the Jax airport terminal. Steak tips and burgers were great. Bloody Mary was truly exceptional. Geoff, our waiter, guided us towards towards the menu highlights. Sure, it's a generic airport bar and a bit bland. Prices are high for what you get. But all things considered, three people are a large, tasty lunch for $100 (including tip). We'll return the next time we fly out of Jax."
"Last night was my first time at Cross Creek. Went for a birthday celebration and they were easily able to accommodate a party of 20 with a reservation which was nice! I ordered the country fried steak which came with 2 sides- I got mashed potatoes with brown gravy (brown gravy on my steak too) and country green beans. Overall everything tasted great! Potatoes were yummy, gravy didn't necessarily taste homemade but it was still good and they didn't skimp on the gravy! The country fried steak had good flavor but wasn't as crispy as I wouldn't liked. The breading was falling off which is kind of the whole point of the dish. The steak itself was a little thicker than I like for my CFS which made it harder to cut and more tough. Overall it was still good and I enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow but that's to be expected with such a large party. I don't mind waiting for our food when we have a group that big. My only complaint is that half the table had their entrees while the other half were just getting their salads to start. Some of us had to wait quite awhile for our drinks and refills. There were two servers working our party and I know they were running around a lot so I do appreciate their hard work. They have 2-4-1 drinks all day everyday!"
"I guess the concensus is that this is the best place to eat in River City. It probably is the best steak as Longhorn and Outback are the only other options. There is always a wait, I don't mind a few minutes but there is sometimes a wait of two hours. I will not be doing that. The steaks are good for a commercial, budget friendly steakhouse. They are cooked to the requested temp and have a good seasoning. You will not need steak sauce to add flavor. They bread is a yeast roll and have a firm crust and a soft center, served with cinnamon butter. If you order a salad it always comes before the meal, not with it as seems to be the new way to serve a salad. They have an app called an onion petal or something like that. It is far superior to what some other chains do with the same type of app.The service is always excellent. This must be the culture of the restaurant as most places in the area (and there are a lot) do not give this kind of service. When you are seated, the hostess puts a tag on your table. This tells the manger that he or she has not stopped by yet. A manager will always speak to you here. The servers go above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience. They check in after your food is served at the appropriate time, never let your drink get empty, then check in regularly. My only complaint is the loud music. It is kind of a bar atmosphere throught the place. It won't stop me from going but I do feel it is a bit excessive."
