"We regularly visit Big Crab during Lent season on Fridays. They have specials everyday, but I would say that Friday is the best day! For a great deal of $19.99, you get crawfish, shrimp, corn, sausage and potatoes, huge serving! We usually substitute the sausage for eggs and they were kind enough to accommodate us. Medium sauce is great too, just enough kick to notch up your taste buds! Delicious and vey filling! The servers are always fast and attentive despite having a great deal of customers. The place is also pretty big with a lots of tables that includes an outside seating. This is one of our favorite places to visit and I highly recommend them!"

"I was not impressed the first time we came to Island Wings a couple years ago. It wasn't bad but nothing to make me want to come back.We happened to come after my son's soccer game a couple months ago because we needed somewhere close before his little brother fell asleep. The food was much better and the service was exceptional. We've come back 4 times since and every time are blown away by the service.The burgers and motz sticks are our go-tos but we had the poke nachos today and will definitely be getting those many more times. There's almost always a food special with multiple kids eat free days and times. The wings are ok but we have other restaurants we prefer for that so we stick to other menu items.But more than anything, the service. Today the manager went out of his way to set us up on the back patio since our Saints game wasn't anywhere inside. Nicole was so sweet and attentive and was checking on us so frequently despite being the only people on the patio she never forgot about us.We will continue to come back over and over for the great service and food."

"We recently had a very pleasant surprise. We were running some errands and had to stop by the Avenues Mall. Then, it was a "What do you want for dinner?" back and forth discussion. We decided to grab a quick bite at Ale House and surprise, their special of the day was Prime Rib. We were seated immediately and hand a wonderfully attentive waiter. He was 5 star all the way. Since it was only 5pm the restaurant was a bit quieter than normal. Which was nice when having a conversation over dinner. We both ordered the small cuts of Prime Rib and it was anything but small. It was cooked to perfection with a delicious rub on the outside. Rare to medium rare was exactly what we got and the biggest surprise was they actually had fresh horseradish. Our server continued to check on us to see if we needed refills or anything and while my husband finished his, I was over full eating about half of mine. So I had prime rib salad the next day. This was an amazing dinner and the cost was very reasonable. The price was half of what you pay for other restaurants in town where I've had prime rib. Ale House is good and my husband loves the Big Red sandwiches, but this was outstanding. I'll definitely remember to check their daily specials in the future when I'm in the area."

Our server quickly came to the table and took drink orders. I can't remember her name, but she had blonde hair and was super nice. She said they run happy hour every day from 3-6pm, half off drafts, $5 cocktails, and $6 apps (certain ones).What a pleasant change of pace (no real price hikes). Our beers came out frosty cold, and we sat for a bit to enjoy our beer. We then decided to order a few more drinks on happy hour and ordered an app of cheese curds. They came out super quick.Please note, looks can be deceiving. These looked more like chunks of fried cheese, but let me tell you, they were quite tasty and did taste like cheese curds.We also decided to order ten boneless wings to share. They came out even quicker than the app, and these were doused in sauce and were quite good.All in all we'll be back, even just for some drinks and to catch a game."

I had lunch with my fellow third grade life group leaders from Chet's Creek.My friends started us off by ordering two chips and salsas and one scuff potato skins. Even though there were seven of us, one order of chips and salsa would have been enough as it was a huge bowl with lots of chips. The salsa was good and the chips were fresh. I really enjoyed the potato skin topped with a little sour cream!I was very happy to find out they served Pepsi;) I ordered the Full Court Salad with blackened chicken minus green peppers. The salad ingredients were fresh and it was a huge portion. I brought half the salad home for dinner. The chicken was tender and juicy however it was not blackened. But it was seasoned well. I also tasted a piece of fried fish which was delicious! Hannah, our server was friendly and attentive. I would go back as the menu was huge so there are lots of other items to try."

Whether it's a board game for the table or a booth where you can work on your golf swing, fore score has got you covered. The food seems to be pretty good! Our server was good at helping us make decisions on what was good and for the most part he stirred us in the right direction. For an appetizer I got the buffalo chicken dip. This was decent but wayyyyy too spicy for the entire table. I was the only one that could enjoy it. That made the dynamic weird and boom...No problem...our server took that off the bill. For entrees, I got the shrimp tossed in sauce and fries. My table mate ordered Philly cheese sliders. Those were good with the fries they came with. We didn't have time to use the golf simulator, but we did enjoy a game of tic tac toe at the table. Definitely an on going back."
