"Great service, food arrived quickly. I always grab the Dungeness special, it's enough food for 2 people.i find it odd this restaurant has only a 3.8 star rating, considering my visit was absolutely perfect"
"FREE BEER TOMORROW!!!...and very delicious seafood served by friendly, cheerful staff in a fun local restaurant with a down-home country ambiance. Located on the St. Johns River across from the north side of Blount Island Marine Terminal, Chowder Ted's is a short, pleasant drive away from the traffic of Jacksonville. The first thing we noticed while waiting to be seated was how big all the servings are. We began with a pot to share of their namesake's chowder, and it lived up to it's name. (I'm glad it did because my name is Ted, too.) The chowder is in a spicy broth with big chunks of potato, clams, and tomato, and it's so good that next time I'm getting my own pot of it as a meal - yummy! There's a wide variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees, including big cheeseburgers in case you came to a chowder house but don't like seafood.(WTF?) We settled on the fried flounder sandwich, which was delivered with a side of very tasty, freshly made coleslaw. The sandwich was piled high with 3 filets of perfectly fried, golden brown fish, so large it was hanging over the edges of the large bun. It was dressed with lettuce, tomato, and a very tasty sauce on the bun.The servers are so friendly, and the vibe inside is like a neighborhood restaurant full of regulars. Get over to Chowder Ted's right now!! They are open Tuesday through Saturday. You will be glad you came."
Served with Texas toast. Made fresh daily. Warm and spicy.

"Service was excellent! Food was delicious!Had the spinach salad with fried shrimp. Huge portion and absolutely delicious! Shrimp were perfect and not greasy at all! Loved the dressing!Iced teas were refilled without asking or waiting!"
"Best overall dining experience in a very long time. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable, amazing ambiance. Wonderful service. Very friendly staff and never had to wait for anything. The food was perfection. The branzino was in the top three seafood meals I've ever eaten. There was a slight crunch on the outside, but it was tender and moist in the inside. Easy 5 stars! We will be frequenting Saint!"
"The Sweet Heat Chicken Wings are perfectly cooked, perfectly sized (I like smaller wings), and perfectly sauced! I've actually only been ordering wings from this location lately because they are that good. And the owners use DoorDash service and the food comes fast and fresh.I don't know about the ambulance here because I always get delivery, but I know that I have thoroughly enjoyed the wings, tenders, fries, butterfly shrimp and onion rings. I usually order the 20-piece Wings with Sweet Heat sauce. They sell their sauces by the bottle, too, FYI. I promise you whenever I eat food from We Be Cooking, not one drop is left in the styrofoam container. It's so ridiculously delicious and always hits the spot.Don't forget to order any of the flavors of We Be Punch. Fair warning: they are sweet! I like the blueberry lemonade and the mango lemonade We Be Punch and I'll stretch it out by adding more ice or water to make it last. They come in 20 oz. or 32 oz. sizes and well worth the extra $3. Best part, they are open every day around 12:30pm-2am (at the time I'm writing this review) for all you late night party animals.Me...I just enjoy tasty wings made with love with a great selection of homemade sauces whenever I want - delivered.Supporting local businesses..."
"A great place for chicken and catfish. Always freshly cooked and delicious. The chicken wings and catfish lunch portions are more than enough."
"Our favorite local restaurant. They have gotten a bit busier as word has gotten out. We always love their Skinny Margaritas. One of their best dishes is the birria tacos. Service is always fast and attentive."
"Looking for the cliche Florida coastal crab boil restaurant. Hurrican Patty's filled the need - as if it came out of a movie. It's off the road, on the marina docking bay = picture perfect. They're open later than other places, which was mainly what we were looking for. Shop owners eat later than the tourists. #factsWe walked around the venue before entering and loved the entire water "bay vibe". The restaurant has a wrap around walking dock / deck with an outside bar, table seating, and live music all on the backside. On the front side of the venue is the entrance, and an outdoor table seating patio. Upon entering, you have to wait to be seated by the hostess. This has a very Joe's Crab Shack meets pirates ambiance without the "restaurant chain" feel. Our service was quick, semi friendly, and to the point. Our server gal took care of us, had a smile, but was not hovering - and that's what we expected. A total cliche server experience. The "Painkiller" drink I ordered was stiff and DARN yummy! The price was right, not over priced. I would have preferred a top shelf rum and no ice. Next time I'll ask. They have the crab boil special on Saturdays.I didn't know about the social when I chose this venue for our food adventure Night. The price was great as we happened to go on a Saturday. I also pre-gamed signed up for their email list on their website and got a coupon for a shrimp appetizer emailed to me. Woop!I've never had anything "oyster" before. (Being from Vegas, it's not something you order when there... I would recommend it.) We ordered the oyster sampler. We also ordered the shrimp and grits for next day breakfast / lunch. Sunday chill day pre-gaming.!The shrimp appetizer was buttery and light. It's a perfect starter for two. I recommend it.The oysters were steamed well, but I wasn't a fan of ALL the flavors on platter. The oyster and lobster was so F-ing good. I'd order just that next time. The crab bucket was on point. YES! I would prefer more seasoning, but I'm not mad at it. This is large enough to share. Great for 2 people if you have an appetizer. The shrimp and grits were darn good.I felt the grits were a little undercooked, but I didn't mind because the next day I heated them up in a pot with some milk and butter and they were bomb AF!!!!!!I can imagine, though, people WOULD complain "the grits are undercooked".I took home the sausage from my crab boil. Sliced them up and cook them the next day - adding them to my grits for a PERFECT no cook Sunday meal. Nom nom.I would highly recommend hHurricane Patty's as a venue to take people to, especially on a Friday or Saturday evening when there is live music outside. The prices were very reasonable.Don't expect five star service. Expect your meal served to you - you might get a smile. I'm okay with that because, it's a Marina restaurant... Up in the cut.The food IS surprisingly good. The atmosphere is awesome! I would imagine dinner at sunset would be very chill and romantic.REASONS TO VISIT: 1. Location2. Plenty of Parking3. Ambiance4. Overall Venue5. Reasonable Prices6. Decent Food7. Decent Drinks"
"The hot lemon pepper wings were good. The Cajun ranch was more like just a ranch. But over all, the wing was a good crispy fried wing with decent fries. I would definitely eat here again."
"Had a great dinner with family at Salt Life last night. We were a large group and service was great for fresh, excellently prepared meals. My sushi was fantastic and I'm in love with their wasabi. It was a small dollop but packed a punch and had sprinkled white and black sesame seeds coating it. Everyone loved their meal and I was so happy to actually carry on conversations with most of the table. Everyone had fish, shrimp or chicken tenders without any complaints. I couldn't see exactly what others ordered, but you can't go wrong."
"amazing place to let your toddler run and play! They have a kid corner with a bunch of toys and cars! So greatful for this space! We haven't had a meal where we could eat comfortably in a year and half ha ha! Also the food was incredible! Best pizza we've had in a very long time!!!"
"Patrick was exceptionally knowledgeable about the dishes and provided wonderful recommendations! Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and top-notch service!!!"

The service was okay, had our menus from a lady whom was eating food and licked her fingers.... Asked for new menus, she refused to do it. We had to ask somebody else and our server was nice. For food, we got a pound of snow crab legs with half pounds of head off shrimps (didn't really take off the heads good) with half pound of sausage. No complaints on sausage or crab legs. And the flavor we chose was all the above which included all the flavors and the spicy level was medium. I'm not a fan of spicy but this kind of spicy is exactly what I like!! Very excellent. Hoping to come back at this specific location to better service but other than that, the food was bomb!! The review was 3.8 and I honestly can't not agree with it. I'll give it 4.

This was my second time eating here, I will say after me asking that the food not be over cooked it came out much better looking! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The onion rings still a little overcooked, considering they were $5.75 they should have been perfect. As for the flounder definitely over cooked and didn't have any seasoning to it at all... I think for this thirty dollar lunch this will be my last visit here.

I can't wait to go back! This little hidden gem, apparently everyone knew about but me. The food was so good. The portions were huge! The service at the bar seats were great! Staff was helpful and friendly. Only con was the weight time to get a table, or to snag two bar seats which we did eventually.

Definitely make reservations ahead of time if you are trying to come here. Pro tip: upstairs there is a bar with first come, first serve tables, so hopefully you get lucky! We were in St. Augustine for the weekend and wanted to check this place out. We got here a little after 5 on a Saturday and the wait was upwards of 1.5 hrs. We did get lucky upstairs and were able to grab a table for four.I ordered the bourbon and berries drink, while my boyfriend got a tequila mule. For food, we got the chicken saltimbocca and the short rib bolognese. The saltimbocca was good and the portion was huge! I wish the chicken was a tad bit crispier but it was juicy and flavorful. The rosemary was a nice touch. The short rib bolognese was also a nice satisfying meal, especially with colder temps in St. Augustine. It was a flavorful dish and I would recommend both.I'm not sure if the restaurant was just understaffed or too busy, but the service could use improvement. I know they opened recently but they had several people behind the bar and only 1 gal servicing the whole upstairs that I could see. She was friendly but I think just had too many tables on her hands. It took a while to get our table cleaned off and some menus, then same when it came to getting our check.

Alright, let me keep it creamy with you. I ordered from here on Uber late at night after a 10 hour shift at work. It was late, I was hangry, and I haven't had good wings in a while. Here is where We Be Cooking enters my life. I quickly order an affordable wing basket of 5 wings and a side for $8.99. What a deal!I pick my side, potato salad, and then order an extra side of fries as well to dip in my leftover wing sauce. I left a note to plz give extra sauce, and placed my order. My order arrives! To my dismay, I was given double fries and no potato salad, and no obvious extra sauce. I am so hangry. I try to order potato salad again, but alas everywhere is closed now. I'm dismayed and quietly eating fries this whole time. They're good, a little soggy from travel, but to be expected when ordering fries for delivery. I set my phone down, and decide to eat my wings, potato salad or no potato salad. Immediately after my first bite I can feel my hanger vanish. I ordered my wings with the Sweet Heat sauce, and oh my god! This sauce is to die for. These wings are the most delicious wings I have had the pleasure to have in years. I DEVOURED them, soaking my fries in any leftover sauce. By the time I got done, there was no sauce to be seen. That styrofoam tray was licked clean. Now when I placed my order I saw they sold bottles of sauce and I contemplated it, boy I made a mistake not getting one. Do yourself a favor, order from this restaurant!! AND BUY THE SAUCE BOTTLE! And lord knows I'm ordering potato salad next time, because I BET it is the best potato salad ever.

Coming from California, it was hard to find good Mexican food. La Catrina has been our go to spot for the last 4 years. Everything from the carnitas to the pastor is delicious. Our wait staff is always kind and quick to ensure drinks are filled and food is perfect. I hate giving this little gem away, but you have to try it!

"I'm a firm believer that most hole in the wall, restaurants have the best food, and This place did NoT disappoint. The Crab Stop is probably the most flavorful hole in the wall seafood restaurant I've ever been to. The server was so friendly, and just made it feel like we were at their home. That food was made with love lol.If you're looking for ambience, this place ain't it but If you're looking for some bomb ass crab and seafood boil, you will not be disappointed."
"The food was fantastic! Soo good and healthy for you! I had the Bowl with black beans, yellow rice, a dollop of guac and Pico De guiyo. Sorry spelling for the Pico?!!Anyway the plaintans were excellent. Outstanding food assistance and the presentation was beautiful before I dove in. Took a good portion home for lunch tomorrow!! My friend had the rice, beans and the plaintans!!! So good! We were celebrating our b-days!! Can't wait to go back soon to Havana Jax!!!"
"I have waited until our 4th visit to review this restaurant. This is a new Italian restaurant in Ponte Vedra Beach, owned and run by a Bonafide New Jersey Italian named Vincenzo. Vincenzo has a passion and a lot of heart for quality and service. Like most new establishments, there are operational start up issues with the staff and process that must get worked out. They have improved tremendously since our first visit. The food was excellent. Everything is freshly made. This evening we ordered fried mozzarella appetizer. I was expecting the typical sticks that the restaurants buy and drop in the deep frier. We were pleasantly surprised when the waiter brought out what was clearly homemade fresh fried mozzarella! It was excellent! The red dipping sauce was fabulous. We ordered as main dishes Chicken Piccata, the Italian Stallion Stromboli , and spaghetti and meatballs. All dishes were very, very tasty. The Stromboli in fact was the best I've ever had! Our waiter was very good but was overwhelmed with the crowd (reinforcements finally arrived to help him out) so our service was slow, and the food took awhile coming out. Those around us seemed to be getting served faster. It happens. The environment was comfortable and not too loud to have a normal conversation. So for this review it's a 5 star for the food, and the service on this visit was a 3 to 3.5 stars. They are improving with every visit. We definitely recommend Vincenzo's. They have a variety of bottled and draft beers, as well as multiple Italian wines. Give them a try."
"I haven't been here since I moved from FL 12 years ago! But I used to be a regular, so, naturally when I was coming back to the beach, I had to stop here! It was exactly how I remembered! Food was absolutely delicious & oh so fresh! The table split oysters, crawfish, loaded potatoes, and key lime pie. Nothing disappointed! Cocktails were good also. I'll be back & it won't take me 12 years this time!"
"Ordered To-Go for lunch. Giant portions! Ordered online and got there at the expected time. The food was ready and piping hot when I opened it. I'm a soup snob. So I didn't have a high expectation for the soup. But when I tasted the Italian Wedding Ball Soup I let out an audible "oh wow". It is delicious!!! Shrimp was cooked perfectly on the scampi and it was good, what you expect in a scampi. Loads of garlic. The squeeze of lemon they put in container made it pop. The staff were really friendly. Overall to go experience was great."
"Beautiful Roof top bar!! We stopped in for a drink and the view is killer! It seems like this is a brand new building? You valet your car ( only option?) walk in go up the elevator to the top and wow so pretty! It was packed up there, lots of people coming and going but we got drinks pretty fast the server was great and hustlin, drinks are quite expensive ($12-20 per drink) but your kinda paying for the ambiance too I guess.I really liked my drink it was delish!"
"We visited St Augustine over the weekend and we had this on our lists of restaurants to visit. We really loved our overall experience at The Kingfish Grill. Its nestle in the back of a yacht club overlooking the Tolomato River. The parking lot is quite large, but note there are several businesses in the club. The good news they have a shuttle that drives around and picks you up so your walk isn't too bad. When you walk thru the small garden, you can hear the live music playing and the vibe is so unique. The food, the service and the weather was just perfect to dine outside the night we went. As stated it was nighttime, so didn't get the view but I am sure it's speculated but listening to the waves surrounding us was amazing. We got the Calmari for appetizer, my husband got the Captain's platter, my kid got the shrimp platter and I got the NY strip steak. They offer sushi and so many other seafood meals. Oh I hear the crab cakes are to die for! Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection. Everything was spot on wonderful.... If visiting St Augustine this restaurant is a must try. If you live there then make a visit or two. It's worth every bite."
"Great service and food, also great view!! Server , Alura, was attentive and friendly. Fish sandwich was great, band good too!"
"I was skeptical when we first arrived at the address. Mall food? I haven't eaten mall food in a long time. First things first, location. It is in the food court and you can park on the back side of the mall and 2 sisters is right there. The ambiance is cute. The lady was very nice too. Food is made to order. It seems pricey but it is not compared to same items at other establishments. Fries and fried green tomatoes were awesome and they were not skimpy on meat on the lobster roll. We will be back when we are in the area again. Good luck sisters"
"This is my second time in this establishment. Tonight (8/24/24) is the first time ordering a cocktail (Old Fashion) that took a minute to order. Not again. It was the weakest OF I've EVER had. The music (R&B) however is cool."
"Went there for lunch last weekend while catching up with friends. The location has changed venues but I think this time they will do well. Our server Quentin was stellar, was able to remember six peoples orders without writing them down, drinks were topped off more than regularly, just plain fantastic service (something thats been lost for quite some time) and was very personable.Had the bacon burger, (sorry was too famished to take any pics), all was served quickly, hot, and delicious. So for a new restaurant, worth checking it out; good food, great location, and friendly staff. Definitely a do over."
"I visited corky bells for an early dinner. The parking lot was almost full at 5pm. I decided to eat at the bar. The restaurant was very clean and decorated nicely. The waitresses at the bar were courteous and attentive. She took my drink order and gave me a memo. I ordered blackened shrimp and scallops with greens and stewed tomatoes and okra. The waitress kept my drink filled. The food was excellent . The shrimp and scallops were cooked well. The portion size was good. Overall it was a good meal. I would recommend it. I will return next time I'm in palatka."
"I absolutely love this location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The men are gentlemen and very nice. There is always a great selection. They have daily specials. It is both a fish market and takeout spot. They have crab, fish, oysters by the bushel, crawfish, shrimp, mussels, and side dishes. There are also drinks and these most wonderful cupcakes. The fried foods are fresh and tasty. The garlic corn cobs and eggs are going to give me high bp but they're so good. The garlic butter sauce is so so yummy."
"Crab cakes on point yall!!! Nice view... Best damn music playlist ever!!!!! Great prices, super friendly staff. Beach parking, pet friendly Just fun...."
"This place has been on my radar to try for a while due to the great reviews and good health inspection report. This place is absolutely worth the hype! It's located in a bit of an odd location, but definitely a gem once you're inside. It's small but nicely decorated. The girl at the front counter was very friendly too. For the food, I was so impressed! Finding good Chinese food can be tough, but this place will take a spot on my favorites list. I got the vegetable fried rice and the vegetable lo mein (pictured). Both of them had a great flavor and were full of vegetables. As a vegetarian, I was happy with the amount of options this place offers! Not to mention, their prices are great for the portion sizes. Overall, I will absolutely be making this place a staple for when I'm craving Chinese food."
"Good menu selection and nice ambiance. Service was a little slower than that of today's zip zip zip but thought it to be an added bonus not being rushed. The Big Fish Sandwich was gigantic and came with sides and the Smothered Chicken was delicious and came with a salad, soup, and fresh bread. The Fried Green Tomato was unique. The Buffalo Chicken strips were good also. The prices were excellent and we did not leave hungry or unsatisfied and would eat here again. We had to wait a few minutes to get seated but it was under 5 min and our food started arriving in a timely manner. The orders were correct and the food was hot when received."
"Visiting the oldest city to view Night of Lights we stopped in for an early dinner. You give your name at the window and wait outdoors for a table to open up. Luckily we had a good sunny afternoon on a chilly day, but we didn't wait very long for our name to be called. The fried shrimp is the best in St. Augustine - very light batter on perfectly cooked shrimp. You can choose two sides - I had coleslaw with the potato salad (just like I make at home). Hubby chose fries and coleslaw. It was terrific - and we finished the meal with a piece of key lime pie that was excellent! You must remember that the restaurant is CASH only - so be prepared when you visit. There's convenient parking next to and behind the restaurant. Don't miss it - it is the BEST shrimp in the county!"
"Love this place. Great back yard patioWill definitely be back to check it out again. Service was awesome and bathroom's are very clean"
"Was staying at the hotel and due to weather I didn't want to venture out. Went to the bar and ordered the blackened mahi-mahi. Food came quickly, fish cooked and seasoned well, rice and asparagus cooked to perfection as expected. The whole meal was really good, just a tad overpriced. No complaints but about $10 more than it should be. Had a dessert and I normally don't eat them but the pumpkin cheesecake was off the chain! This was by far one of my favorite desserts I have ever had!!! Bartender was slow to provide drinks to bar patrons as his focus was on the table drinks coming in. He didn't seem to be able to manage both."
"I visited Chop House for the first time on a Saturday evening at 5 PM. Rooftop seating was full so I found us a spot at a high table at the bar. We started with the focaccia served with herb butter and olive tapenade. Oh my, the bread was soft on the inside and crispy around the edges. I added the olives and a little butter and enjoyed a few slices. I ordered the NY strip and my friends and I ordered several sides to share. The steak was cooked perfectly, medium, and was packed with flavor. It was so big, I ate half for dinner and the rest the following day. We shared truffle fries, asparagus and brussel sprouts. My favorite was the tie between the brussels, crispy and seasoned well, and asparagus, tasty and tender but not mushy. My least favorite were the truffle fries. Not because they tasted bad, but because I'm not a huge fry fan.No dessert because we were stuffed. Our server was attentive and friendly. I would love to go back and hope to find an open table on the rooftop next time."
"We love North Beach Fish Camp and have been coming ever since we moved here in 2018. The service is always amazing and the food is always consistent. We always take guests visiting from out of town. We haven't been in a little while, but we ended up going for our anniversary last night. The manager (Rob) sat us, and we got to talking because we always see him as a customer at another restaurant we frequent and got to talking. As busy as they were he made us feel like we were the only patrons. He went above and beyond, just like the servers always do. We will definitely be adding this back into our frequent restaurant rotation. Thanks for the great service!!"
"Great breakfast and service.Had the two egg breakfast Coffee & Orange juice was very good!"
"Worth the stop!! And come with an appetite! We dropped in here on our way through the state headed for Florida to get our southern grits fix and they did not disappoint! We also sampled the award winning chili and the homemade onion rings which I would highly recommend. There were so many things we wanted to try on the menu! And the atmosphere and service are just how a diner should be. They are also dog-friendly fyi."
