"Ex Philly girl here (aka expert), Eddis is THE BEST vegan Philly cheesesteak I have ever had. In Florida, in Philly, heck, I even had a vegan Philly in the middle of Spain. Nothing beats Eddis. Everyone I bring a reg Philly to is blown away, "tastes better than home". Place is ran by actual PA transplants, they're always super nice. They even say "water ice" correctly. I haven't been in for a while and the place looks as clean as the day they opened. Miss those food truck days, tho!"
"The food is well, exactly what you would expect from a Zaxby's. Better than McDonald's, not as good as PDQ. Make sure you check your order before leaving if your getting takeout. They skimped us on 4 tenders (ordered 2 6 finger plates and got 2 4 finger plates) the last time we went."
Served with Texas toast. Made fresh daily. Warm and spicy.

"FREE BEER TOMORROW!!!...and very delicious seafood served by friendly, cheerful staff in a fun local restaurant with a down-home country ambiance. Located on the St. Johns River across from the north side of Blount Island Marine Terminal, Chowder Ted's is a short, pleasant drive away from the traffic of Jacksonville. The first thing we noticed while waiting to be seated was how big all the servings are. We began with a pot to share of their namesake's chowder, and it lived up to it's name. (I'm glad it did because my name is Ted, too.) The chowder is in a spicy broth with big chunks of potato, clams, and tomato, and it's so good that next time I'm getting my own pot of it as a meal - yummy! There's a wide variety of appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees, including big cheeseburgers in case you came to a chowder house but don't like seafood.(WTF?) We settled on the fried flounder sandwich, which was delivered with a side of very tasty, freshly made coleslaw. The sandwich was piled high with 3 filets of perfectly fried, golden brown fish, so large it was hanging over the edges of the large bun. It was dressed with lettuce, tomato, and a very tasty sauce on the bun.The servers are so friendly, and the vibe inside is like a neighborhood restaurant full of regulars. Get over to Chowder Ted's right now!! They are open Tuesday through Saturday. You will be glad you came."
"One of the best chicken bacon ranch subs I've ever had. The bread was very soft and it was loaded with fresh chicken. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's a little difficult to find but definitely worth it."
"I have been going to Lubi's for many years and always leave happy and full! The service is quick and friendly and the food, while it may seem odd, is delicious! I definitely recommend the mozzarella and/or the stroganoff lubi all the way."
"I was just passing through town and stopped for lunch. The service was amazing-very fast , and the food was delicious. It's hard to find good Mexican food out here and these guys made excellent carnitas and chicken tacos!"
"Catfish was very good. So was the shrimp. Nachos could have been better. Cheese wasn't melted and there was alot of lettuce. Fairly large pieces of lettuce. Service was excellent. Prices were pretty reasonable. We will probably go back ."
"Y'all. The Happy Grilled Cheese is a BLESSING. I was emotionally moved when I took my first bite of this sandwich, it tasted that good. I don't have words to describe how good it was, you just need to go try it. Now! The atmosphere is lovely, everyone is greeted warmly and you can tell there are numerous regulars. Warm, inviting, DELICIOUS and speedy service even as they got busier and busier are the top ways I'd describe my experience and observations. Also, I'm so grateful when businesses take the time to keep something simple like gluten free bread around because it's the difference in my being able to eat there or not. I usually order the Uncle Vinny's Melt on GF bread with a dip size tomato soup and garlic Parmesan fries. I also tried one of the specials, the spinach artichoke melt. It was equally amazing.A few notes on gluten free: there is risk of cross contamination, check about the soup to see if it was made with a roux that day or not and I think the fryer is shared. Those more sensitive than me may want to exercise more caution."
"A fast casual restaurant with no prices on the menu on the register or chalk board? Wallet got unexpectedly wrecked for 2 people to have lunch without any alcohol. Food was decent, seems fresh, portions on the smaller side (like snack when you get home) and do not come with a side. For the current price point I personally can't justify going back in these economic times. Panera across the parking lot has salads for half the price. It's a salad assembled by a teenager, not a Delmonico steak..."
"For some odd reason, I have never once visited this shop since I moved around this area in 2005 til this day. My manager was amazed and told me to try it this weekend. And so, I did. Lol.Came here with my sister and the shop was quite busy, but not hectic. Opened the door and smelled the great fresh coffee and bagels. Nice and cute decor and the staff were friendly. We ordered:- Everything bagel w/Lox Spread- 1/2 dozen bagels (blueberry, 2 asiagos, 2 wheats and a garlic) The lox spread was amazing and I love savory tastes. Based on their website, lox is raw sugar cured smoked salmon. This cream cheese spread was also mixed with capers, scallops and a hint of lemon. The family enjoyed the bagels as well. I recommend this place and would love to revisit again and try their hot bagel menu and coffee."
"Q-Cup is interesting. To sum it up, great food trumps everything else. This was my first time, let me tell you how it works so you don't stand there like an idiot like me. When you arrive, just sit down. They will bring you a menu. When you're done, go to the counter and pay (they don't bring your receipt). Order the combination pho. Broth was deep. Great variation of meat and the quantity is abundant. The tendon was cooked perfectly, probably the best I've had. Springs rolls were good. Boba tea was good. Overall a great pho spot in Jax. If an Asian restaurant isn't full of Asians, it's probably not good. This place slaps."
"I keep forgetting frickin Thursdays shrimp salad!! One day. I am absolutely amazed by the potato salad!! I get it by the bucket it so absolutely delicious!! Very nice gentlemen at the counter took my order & he made sure he checked on it too. Very clean place. Potato salad mmmmm good."

Best cheesesteak in the south east, no one else is even close. We got the white American cheese, but will be going back for the cheese whiz variation VERY soon!

I would rather wait 5 minutes and have the chicken cooked to order, Hate it is never fresh. Every time I order it is ready when I get to window. Also opted for 5 piece thinking I would eat 3 and save two for a salad next day but the tenders were literally 3 inches long so none to save. They are too small for a 13.00 plate!

This was my second time eating here, I will say after me asking that the food not be over cooked it came out much better looking! The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The onion rings still a little overcooked, considering they were $5.75 they should have been perfect. As for the flounder definitely over cooked and didn't have any seasoning to it at all... I think for this thirty dollar lunch this will be my last visit here.

I have been meaning to review this little deli for a long time. It's tucked away in the bottom of the Ameris Bank Building across US Hywy 1 from Flagler Hospital. The sandwiches are lovingly put togeather by the owner after greeted by the kindest helper behind the large counter where you can sit and eat. Sparse decoration may fool you into thinking that the cuisine will be minimal, but don't fall for it. Although, I usually get my order to go there is plenty of area for dining. Each handcrafted sandwich that I've had the pleasure of chowing down on has been excellent!! Sorry no picture of the Italian Sub today cuz...I couldn't restrain myself long enough to take the picture! The breakfast burrito is excellent also!! Try the combos with drink and chips. Each time I'm in the St. Augustine office, l'm sure to stop in at Vince's.

Seen this place numerous times while driving by and always wondered what they had to offer, my boyfriend told me to try it and I'm so glad he did. The mozzarella lubi is his all time favorite but honestly I have yet to have one that wasn't yummy. The chili lubi is great if you love a little spice in your food and the stroganoff one is just a all around comfort food. Everything about these sandwiches is just yummy! After I finished one I instantly wanted another because it's that good! Hole in the wall place but the food is definitely worth to stop by.

Gator Bait has been one of my favorites since its opening. My favorite entree obviously is the gator tail but I enjoy their chicken wings and their Poboys as well. Taylor was our server today and she did her job exceptionally well. I want to give a shout to Trisha as well. Trisha made sure that fellow tables around the restaurant were okay and the atmosphere was vibrant. Trisha welcomed us in the door with arms full of food and a great big welcoming smile as she told us we could sit where we would like. Gator bait has many amazing features with the gator exhibit inside, provided by a private reptile institute locally in Melrose, FL. The art from local artist for sale on their walls to add beautiful nature graphics to the ambiance. I appreciate the establishment for its continuous efforts to make itself a greater place for the community!

I loved this place! It was a very well priced lunch option in jax! I got the mac n cheese grilled cheese with their jalapeno loaded fries! They also have house made sauces that were delicious -- we tried the ranch. The service was fast and we came not during lunch hour so unsure how busy it gets during peak hours. The place was very cute and bright as well!

"I haven't had a camel rider in years and yup they are as delectable as I remember. I had my doubts but that's just the bougie part of me that has to get talked down from time to time. The cashier was sincerely perky and helpful. I was afraid they did not have any non-soda options but there are jugs of limeade and sweet tea sitting on the counter (stand down Bougie Ken and enjoy this jug-tea!). I can see myself coming here every time I get my oil changed next door."
"Has she ever come here? You have to try the French silk pie, or the peanut butter pie. They're both amazing. The food here tastes homemade. Toasted cheese and tomato soup. For being a simple meal, it's different the soup it thicker and creamy great flavor. The toasted cheese is on a thicker homemade bread. I could order that every single time and be happy, It's so good. I did get meatloaf one day. I was very happy with that too."
"They did was good, I love cheese sauce with my fries. However but the friendliest staff there..."
"I was skeptical when we first arrived at the address. Mall food? I haven't eaten mall food in a long time. First things first, location. It is in the food court and you can park on the back side of the mall and 2 sisters is right there. The ambiance is cute. The lady was very nice too. Food is made to order. It seems pricey but it is not compared to same items at other establishments. Fries and fried green tomatoes were awesome and they were not skimpy on meat on the lobster roll. We will be back when we are in the area again. Good luck sisters"
"this is one of my favorite places in Union County. Whether dine or pick up the subs are always fresh. Portion sizes are perfect and service is good. On this trip, it was calling in order due to the world as it is. I called in my order and was told it would be 30 minutes which was good as I had a few things I needd\ed to do. When I arrived I ran in paid and grab my sub. I like that they also offer curbside pick up if you are not comfortable going in.All in all a great place to grab lunch in this town."
"Yea this is really tasty stuff! I saw James had posted about this new place in the Avenues so when I was in the mall, i just had to pop on in! Walking up I wasn't sure what / how to order, but it's very simple...chicken, lamb or mixed plate, they all come with rice, salad, and white sauce on top...I went with the mixed to try both meats and they really load this thing up! Instead of gyro shaved lamb it's thick cubes of gyro meat and the chicken was marinated in like a spiced yogurt maybe, what it was, was delicious! Me and my daughter tore this thing up! lol! fresh, salty, and satisfying! I got the mint cilantro sauce on the side to try it, it was herby and tart, I preferred the white sauce which was light a light garlic sour cream sauce and happy I went with that. Great addition to the mall food court!"
"Great food fantastic prices cozy atmosphere. A win win win all the way around. Look no further great Cuban btw"
"Went there for lunch last weekend while catching up with friends. The location has changed venues but I think this time they will do well. Our server Quentin was stellar, was able to remember six peoples orders without writing them down, drinks were topped off more than regularly, just plain fantastic service (something thats been lost for quite some time) and was very personable.Had the bacon burger, (sorry was too famished to take any pics), all was served quickly, hot, and delicious. So for a new restaurant, worth checking it out; good food, great location, and friendly staff. Definitely a do over."
"Kaiser's Deli and Market is a truly special place. It has such a welcoming, family-friendly vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. The food is incredible--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. One of the things that stands out most is the unique setting. The deli is in a house that's been transformed into a cozy café, with plenty of open space and seating. It feels homey and relaxed, like a place where you can really unwind. The staff are fantastic--friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely great people. If you're looking for amazing food and a warm, inviting space, this is the place to go."
"Nestled in right off the Main Street, this is arguably the best local spot in Flagler Beach. Where to begin? Let's start with quality of food. Everything here is fresh. When I say fresh, I mean it is profoundly the freshest food I've had at any place I've been to and I travel, internationally often. I highly recommend the grilled cheese with a vessel salad. It's delicious. To note: the lemonade here.... I'd drink a gallon. The staff here. Well... they're family (literally). When you walk in you feel that presence and warm and welcoming atmosphere. I know there's a lot of other commercialized lunch spots in Flagler Beach that have "curb appeal" but skip that nonsense and eat at a local staple. Vessels is the jam."
"I was really excited to try out this place for a Cuban breakfast, but overall, it was just okay, left a bit to be desired. The food was on the dry side, especially the eggs and the bread, which really needed a bit more moisture or seasoning to stand out. The portion size was decent, and the presentation was nice, but I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor.Service was friendly and prompt, but unfortunately, the meal didn't quite hit the mark for me. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I was expecting a bit more from a Cuban breakfast.Lastly, there was a Yelp check in promo where you get a free pastry with $15 spent. The lady told me they couldn't honor because I have to spend $15 or more. lol. Ok. I attached my receipt."
"Love it! Fresh, fast, delicious. Do your self a favor and give this one a shot. Everything was tasty. Salad, shrimp, potatoes, asparagus."
"This is the best little lunch restaurant in High Springs. Not a bad thing on their menu. The spins are handmade, fresh daily. They are wraps with the consistency of a bagel without all the dough. The several choices of fillings are delicious. Each one so good. The most amazing items are the deserts, all made from scratch with the spin style deserts the best. One of those spin deserts is the Dulce de Leche which is absolutely exquisite and not overwhelming. Each day is a different special with soups and wraps. Friday is the meatball spin and it is fabulous."
"Before heading here over the weekend, I read a few reviews both on Google and Yelp. The few "bad" reviews some left were complaining about how big or thick the donuts are, and that made me chuckle. Only because I don't see how that is a negative; to me, that reads as a positive! They are in fact big, dense donuts. If you are looking for a light and fluffy donut, this may not be the donut shop for you. With that said, the donuts were Extremely fresh, and dessert like donuts. I loved "americas favorite" the best but that's pretty normal for me to like the original glazed the most at all donut shops. It's a vanilla glazed donut. The chocolate donut with vanilla glaze was my second favorite, and I'd have to say third was the cinnamon and sugar twist. Shirley took the time to come around to the order area where customers are, and explain in detail each donut she had and what it was like. I LOVED the personal tour of donuts. The customer service level here is a big 10/10. She did explain her chocolate chocolate donut is different from most chocolate donuts at other donut shops and she was in fact, correct. The icing on the chocolate chocolate donut is kindive like homemade cake icing. My grandmother and I used to bake when I was a kid. The icing from the chocolate donut I tried, tasted exactly like the homemade icing I used to make with my grandma when she was alive. It was an immediate nostalgic flavor/memory unlocked. And yes, not the usual icing on a donut but more so icing you may find on a cake. I liked it. It's very rich so the one donut was actually plenty. I cut it in half to eat the rest the next day. Shirley also serves breakfast here. If you are looking for a little more savory to your sweet, you could order both breakfast And donuts all in the one stop shop. I do like that feature. I'm looking forward to trying some of her breakfast options on the next visit."
"Absolutely love their chocolate gelato. Their vanilla is also anther favorite. Their gelato is homemade and delicious."
"The food was good and good portions. I'm surprised it wasn't busier. The person behind me was smoking like a chimney and made me eat fast and bolt."
"Amazing Cuban food and great atmosphere! The ropa vieja was tender and flavorful, and the Cuban sandwich was one of the best I've had. Friendly service, generous portions, and reasonable prices--highly recommend!"
"I seen the post about bad service, however, I have to say that I found the service to be very good. I was here for breakfast and I am a big fan of bagels, so that is what I went with. Prices were fair and a bagel is good. Dare I say, very good. They are located in a strip Plaza and our next to a pizzeria and a Chinese restaurant. Kind of a trifecta of good meals to select. I did find it kind of funny that these restaurants were next to a Planet Fitness. I guess after a hard workout, you can go into one of these restaurants and make up for all the calories you burned. The Sub Base & Bagel Place is a smaller establishment and it is simply furnished and decorated. Ambiance is definitely not as strong suit. However, in a place like this, if it was a little bit more fancy, it would feel out of place somehow.I definitely recommend here. Check them out."
"Best barbecue in Yulee/Jacksonville area hand down, warm and friendly service each time we visit couldn't be more pleased and it's not just the barbecue that's excellent their sides are too die for it's hard to save room for their wonderful desert, simply outstanding"
"The food here is superb. The service is friendly and attentive. They have an impressive - surprisingly large beer selection. Great location and they have several outdoor tables. We have been there many times and tried almost every sandwich."
"Parking along the street was easy. You order at the counter and they will bring your food to you. There was plenty of seating with tables in two separate rooms. We ordered Smash burgers and a Philly Steak and Cheese. Both came with fries, which were excellent, or you could substitute for something else for a small fee (I believe they charged to upgrade but the fries were excellent). I would travel to come back for that burger, it was that good. Highly recommended this place."
"Small family-owned meat market. Not much to look at just a typical family owned meat market. What makes it different is the quality of the meat and quite frankly the quality of the people serving you. Dad and son make a great combination for good service. We actually had a wonderful sandwich while we waited for our order. We were really shocked that you could get such a great sandwich in a tiny meat market. I will always make sure I have time for lunch when I go shopping for my next order of meat. The steaks were absolutely superb.Very good value for your Dollar. Tenderness and flavor was outstanding."
"Went here on a LoLo from my sister Plenty of seating inside and outside. Gentleman behind the counter who waited on me was very nice and explained their menu. They offer a variety of coffees, lattes and drinks. They also have muffins, pastries and other breakfast items. Not inly a coffee bar but also a place to enjoy wine. The ambiance is nice and shares it location with Mayday Ice Cream. Nice spot to enjoy a beverage and also for morning gatherings and meet ups."
