"I had dinner with friends on a Tuesday evening at Aspendos Italian. There was a large group of us which they happily accommodated. I ordered the cheesesteak calzone and fried mushrooms. The calzone was served hot and cheesy and loaded with meat. I also liked the marinara. The fried mushrooms were hot and delicious and also served with marinara. The mushrooms were fresh with a perfect amount of breading!It was pretty warm inside which was uncomfortable. Service was friendly but slow. And our food came out staggered. However, I would go back for takeout!"

"1- Parking and surroundings, I always look for the parking areas of the place, you do want to know in advance if parking is available and if it feels safe. Located close to the Northwood area, this is North West Gainesville, and parking is available. 2- The ambiance and decoration is very nice, offering a vintage, quiet and relaxed place for dinning. 3- Location- I was attracted to this place by the pizza sign on the outside and living in Gainesville for more than 19 years, and less than 4 miles away, I thought I would give it a try. 4- As soon as I saw the menu, I changed my mind and tried one of the the Mediterranean dishes. The Santorini Chicken, with garlic broccolini. The Santorini Chicken is seasoned and charbroiled, served with a tomatoes and fresh Mozzarella, accompanied by a bed of rice pilaf. Cooked perfectly as the name implies (charbroiled), the broccolini maybe a little bit too soaked in the oil and garlic, but nonetheless I liked it. The rice pilaf was so tasteful, which I enjoyed it very much. I am very satisfied with the taste and quality of the food. I will return. The experience is more than what I was hoping. I'm hoping for more restaurants in Gainesville like this. 5- Service was awesome, the server would check up on us, every now and then. 6- Overall this will be one of my places to visit more often, affordable, quiet, delicious mediterranean dishes, in my make believe ratings from 1 to 10, it an 8.5 for me."

"I heard about this place opening and I've been excited that we are getting an Italian place in the area. I stopped by for their opening week. The place is very clean and the staff are excellent. I was impressed by the number of dishes they have on the buffet. There were eight different dishes the day I went. Everything was good. I really enjoyed the tortellini. It tasted like it had a garlic cream sauce. The only drawback was that the chicken in the Chicken Alfredo was a bit dry. Pros:* Excellent service* Salad and pizza were brought to the table* Great selection of items to choose from and they were all fresh* Price - cheaper than other buffets in the areaI give the place 4.5 stars.I will be back. "This is a delicious 5 star pizza joint! The main chef is from near Greece and really knows how to make pizza! The extra large is big enough for 2-4 people. You will love this pizza! One of my favorites for Florida. It is ever bit as good as Niko's in Palatka. This place is a real treat!!! Way more flavorful than Pizza Boyz. They are usually very busy so make sure to call in your order first so you have a time frame."

Salt Springs is the best roadside eats place around.Located along Hwy 19, Salt Springs is a pass through town in the middle of the Ocala National Forest when traveling to visit many of the amazing springs around.Papa Joes Drive In is a great stop to grab some grub on your way too or fro your daily adventure.Very COVID friendly as it is a drive in with a nice area to sit and eat situated away from the building where people come to order.The staff is super friendly and incredibly helpful. The woman who was working gave us great suggestions and honest feedback that we were offering way too much food (which ended up being fine, because the leftovers were great later even cold). WARNING: If you are looking for a healthy, diet conscious meal, this review does not cover that.We got the smoked pork sandwich, a cheeseburger and the Redneck Fries. All for under $20 with tip.First of all, the fries are the bomb! Crisp fresh fries smothered in smoked pulled pork and cheese sauce and served with BBQ sauce. They were a meal in themselves. A sinful delight.The smoked pork and burger were smoked in an onsight smoker which gave that delicious outdoor BBQ taste that you don't often get from restaurants. Simple, but delicious, both were nothing fancy, but top notch. The burger has crisp lettuce and a fresh slice of tomato to finish it off. After the fries and burger, we had no room left for the smoked pork sandwich. But, my husband at it cold the next morning (we were camping), and it was absolutely delicious.This isn't fast food. They cook everything to order. But, it sure is good food."

All of us were not happy, a lot of bread (not fresh) and not enough meat. Dry and tasteless. Perhaps their dinner menu is better, who knows, but i am not going to come back."

"Boyfriend and I went here 20 minutes before they closed. Horribly inconsiderate, I know!! We felt so bad because we were running late but MAN the staff was so nice about it. There was one other couple there, and we told the staff that it was our first time here and asked if it would be too much trouble since it was a Friday night and I'm sure they've been working hard all week. Alex, the owner, said no problem and then gave us the whole spiel about Rodrigo's and their neopolitan style pizza (about a 5 minute explanation of their entire menu). I asked for his if I should get the mystic mushroom or the Bella, and Alex recommended the mushroom because he loves the richness of the truffle oil. I compromised not getting the Bella by getting the burrata, which is basically the Bella but rolled! Boyfriend got the nutty mortadella since it was the most unique one on the menu. Everything came out so fast and WOW we were impressed with it all. It was my first time having burrata and it was the perfect amount of cheesy and rich and flavorful. The arugula, balsamic, and cherry tomatoes helped to cut the richness too and made it so yummy!! The mystic mushroom was SO GOOD. I love mushroom pizza, and Alex was right about the truffle oil taking it to the next level. Boyfriend really liked the nutty mortadella one and said the pistachio really worked on the pizza. We both were so impressed by how light and crunchy and soft the crust was. Alex asked us how everything was while he was cleaning up the restaurant, and we told him we loved everything so much! He and the team were so hospitable, and the restaurant itself is so clean, inviting, and has an intimate and cozy feel. We ate somewhat quickly so as to not delay them being able to close up, but we will definitely be back!! Our new favorite pizza place / restaurant for sure. Thank you guys for such a great experience!!"

Pie-I hate getting takeout pizza. The ricotta was quality, nice and dry. Great flavor. Just a little too dry, and i didn't think there was enough mozzarella. Just my opinion. I'm sure if we ate it there it would be way better. Hot and melty. Even though I live five minutes away, it was just disappointing. We will try again! "I picked up a grandma slice with tomato and basil. All of the pizzas are sitting out at room temperature. I wondered how long they had been sitting out as they really didn't have much business. I figured I'd take my chances and waited for my slice to be warmed up. It was quite tasty. The staff were not friendly but not mean either. They were just there doing their job. This is my second time eating from here as I'm rarely in 5 points anymore. The grandma pizza was better than my previous pizza from here. It was quite tasty. Maybe I'll ask for it cold, and just heat it up myself next time though."

This thing will make a pizza in about 1.3 minutes. I went for the deluxe ( my norm) and I will say it sure brought back memories of my childhood. "This place is great for some lunch while spending the day in Flagler Beach, FL. They have great lunch deals, plenty of options, and great service. We went there for lunch while we were in Flagler and got pizza, garlic knots, and soda. The woman working was very nice and the pizza and garlic knots were great! Perfectly seasoned and the perfect beach day meal. They have both canned soda as well as a soda machine. The inside of this place has such cool murals and decorations. I was not expecting that from the outside! There are places to sit inside- not outside but just take it to the beach and eat it there if you want to eat outside! It's like a 3 minute walk from the beach. There is parking outside, and lots of signs to help you find it. I will visit again when I am back in Flagler!"
