"I have dined at BB's periodically for over a decade. Although I have always enjoyed it, the food has been exceptional during my recent visits (all during lunch). The menu is vast, with both the brunch and main menus being available during weekend daytime hours. Lately I have been hooked on the fish and grits, which consists of the blackened catch of the day (most recently it was a delicious corvina) topped with a bacon marmalade (with legitimate chunks of bacon), cheese grits, and fried green tomatoes - this item is fantastic.BB's is no secret in Jacksonville but reservations are attainable - I would suggest calling even if no slots appear available online. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the service is kind and patient. BB's is my go-to spot whenever I am in the area."
"Service is top notch. We made reservations and requested the second floor but forgot to ask to sit outside. No problem! The hostess quickly showed us a spectacular table outside. Danielle was our server and admitted that this was the best place she ever worked! Wow! All this and we hadn't even ordered yet! We started with a warm crusty baguette (with a glass of wine) I had the scallops on top of polenta. Scallops had just enough of a crisp topping to them. Polenta was creamy and light. My husband got the seared tuna. Also very good. We finished the dinner by splitting the bread pudding. That was worth every calorie and gram of fat! Overall a great experience!"

"Had a great dinner with family at Salt Life last night. We were a large group and service was great for fresh, excellently prepared meals. My sushi was fantastic and I'm in love with their wasabi. It was a small dollop but packed a punch and had sprinkled white and black sesame seeds coating it. Everyone loved their meal and I was so happy to actually carry on conversations with most of the table. Everyone had fish, shrimp or chicken tenders without any complaints. I couldn't see exactly what others ordered, but you can't go wrong."
"Thankfully this place is open 7 days a week because I showed upon a Sunday! It's a proper pub layout with an open atmosphere, 1/2 booth - 1/2 tables lining both sides of the room. Lots of beer and wine! It's in a really quaint part of town with some cool shops around it. Our waitress was very nice. Parking could be a pain, but luckily there is parking behind the building. The food was decent for a pub. You could tell that the oil used to make the fries was a bit old, but it was okay."
"This is a great little diner at end of strip of stores at corner of baymeadows & southside blvd, across from Publix. I was super happy with my visit, the food was delicious, I almost always order biscuits and gravy when i try a new place for breakfast, and the Deerwood bistro did not disappoint. I ordered the large biscuit & sausage gravy breakfast which comes with 2 biscuits covered with the gravy as topped with 3 eggs and with 2 sausage patty's, i also ordered a side of grits. The gravy was full of sausage and seasoned well served on homemade biscuits that were fluffy, my eggs were cooked perfectly, over easy with runny yolks and the grits were stone ground and also yummy. You order at the front counter and find a seat and are quickly served a fantastic meal, the ladies working there were very nice and attentive, they seemed happy to be there. The restaurant was so clean it shined! Seriously I know this is silly but even the salt and pepper shakers were clean and the table was shiny.I loved everything about this place and highly recommended it!"
"Great food fantastic prices cozy atmosphere. A win win win all the way around. Look no further great Cuban btw"
"Friendly staff, clean tables and waiting areas as far as I saw, great decor and ambiance!"
"Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Same as my last visit we were blown away by the food. Menu was huge with all kinds of options. Opted for the fish sandwhich (no bread) and a huge filet came out on the plate! Nacho cheese was reported to be a little different than expected but still good. Service was stellar! Will def come back to try some other menu items!"
"We love North Beach Fish Camp and have been coming ever since we moved here in 2018. The service is always amazing and the food is always consistent. We always take guests visiting from out of town. We haven't been in a little while, but we ended up going for our anniversary last night. The manager (Rob) sat us, and we got to talking because we always see him as a customer at another restaurant we frequent and got to talking. As busy as they were he made us feel like we were the only patrons. He went above and beyond, just like the servers always do. We will definitely be adding this back into our frequent restaurant rotation. Thanks for the great service!!"
"Great breakfast and service.Had the two egg breakfast Coffee & Orange juice was very good!"
"I seen the post about bad service, however, I have to say that I found the service to be very good. I was here for breakfast and I am a big fan of bagels, so that is what I went with. Prices were fair and a bagel is good. Dare I say, very good. They are located in a strip Plaza and our next to a pizzeria and a Chinese restaurant. Kind of a trifecta of good meals to select. I did find it kind of funny that these restaurants were next to a Planet Fitness. I guess after a hard workout, you can go into one of these restaurants and make up for all the calories you burned. The Sub Base & Bagel Place is a smaller establishment and it is simply furnished and decorated. Ambiance is definitely not as strong suit. However, in a place like this, if it was a little bit more fancy, it would feel out of place somehow.I definitely recommend here. Check them out."
"Antique and food in a large area. You could make this a date and lunch trip several times over. The staff was friendly and the food hot and fresh. I enjoyed my clam chowder and salmon sandwich. The quiche was tasty too.Next time I will try dessert ."

First time to BB's. I can say for sure there will be a second time. Really polite and professional staff. We went for lunch on a Sunday. My husband ordered a Bloody Mary and it was one of the best he's had, he said. I enjoyed a lovely Chardonnay. ThereVersion on a ChineseChicken salad was good, not great. My husband ordered then flatbread pizza with sausage on it and delicious itwas. Dinner next visit. Loved the place

Debbie found this place to have our anniversary dinner. Great venue where the pizza place used to be. Really nice inside. We had reservations and requested a table outside and that is where we were seated. View of the old gate was so niceLooking over the menu there were so many great sounding dishes. Tried to to get too much since we were so hungry so we enjoyed what we did order. We started with a couple of soups. A cup of mushroom and French onion. The Mushroom soup was so good. Full of mushrooms and a great broth. Very good. This was amazing. The Onion soup was missing something. Didn't have the depth for f flavor I expect in a onion soup but was still pretty good. For our main we got the filet. OMG. It has been a very long time since I have had a steak cooked that good. The cliché "it cut like butter" was invented for this steak. delicious. The asparagus was cooked perfect al dente as well. Surprising given how big it was! We had a few glasses of wine with each course from there slection which was pretty good. Service was great and we did not wait long at all for anything. Highly recommended !!

I like this restaurant and have visited several times in the past. I have to say the service and food quality has slightly declined over time. My kids used to love coming here because of their fish tank, this time it was dirty and very sad looking. The overall restaurant needs some refreshing. Our server was good, she forgot a couple of things, but will let it slide because it was towards the end of the day and they were about to close. The burger was delicious and the oyster sauce was delicious as well, the oysters themselves were a bit dirty, very sandy and grainy, but the taste was there. I have great memories from prior visits and definitely will give them another shot in the future, I am hoping this review will help them look at some of the things that need improvement.

We ate a delicious meal of Irish Stew, fresh salads , and mahi mahi dinner. Kathy gave us excellent service and her husband , the new chef, prepared our meal much to our great satisfaction. We will be back again.

This was a wonderful experience start to finish! We each had a selection of soft tacos, and I had a cup of the gumbo, which by any other restaurant's standard, would have been considered bowl size. All dishes were tremendously flavorful. The service was attentive and very helpful, especially in recommending dishes and relative portion sizes. We found out quite by accident that we were having dinner during happy hour, so many of our tacos were half-price! Back 40 is pleasant, features tremendous food, and is most affordable. We will be back often!

Got the Loop to go and really enjoyed it. My mom got the salmon sandwich with the broccoli and mentioned how good the broccoli was it was so soft and melt in the mouth. The salmon was also good and not too spicy, perfectly seasoned. I got the portobello sandwich and it was good, but didn't really have much flavor, maybe if the mushroom was marinated it would have had more punch. But it was still really good, not greasy. Tasted healthy and I liked that it had a wheat bun.

I love Brix! I have been here probably 4 times and the food is always good. They have different food deals everyday as well as a daily happy hour. The service is just ok but I enjoy the vibes and location. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating but it does get busy so be mindful of that.

"A really fun hole in the wall spot. Waitstaff was very friendly. There's very limited seating so you might end up at a table with strangers and it probably isn't the best spot to host large groups. Food was really fun! They have traditional American breakfast dishes and also some Korean fusion dishes. I tried ramyun which I never had before and didn't know what to expect. It was ramen type noodles with eggs, and some veggies. Very filling and flavorful! I had folks approaching our table to ask what I ordered because it looked so good. I'd definitely go again, but be prepared that you might end up with cruise ship style dining where you're at a long table with multiple parties."
"The fried mushrooms are the only thing here worth eating. Their burger buns are always stale and fall apart. Everything is pretty generic and some is borderline geriatric cafeteria food. Beer selection is extra extra generic."
"One of the best experience we had from the moment we arrived the welcoming and friendly staff was beautiful. The owner and brewer are there to guide you and help you in your journey of beer selection. I only had and appetizer but the food looks fantastic. New place to have some fun."
"Valentine's Day dinner tonight at Medure was truly exceptional! We dined with our friends visiting from CT, who always love coming here. The very expansive pre-fixed menu assured that everyone had the perfect choice for every course. Our server, Kat was wonderful, always popping in when needed, but never a feeling of being rushed. Among our table we had tenderloin tartare, lobster, burrata as appetizers. The pork belly 2nd course was so tender & delicious, very unique. I loved my sea bass and it was cooked perfectly, but I could not finish it all! Every course was very generous. But the desserts! Red velvet soufflé and chocolate trifle were lovely, but the mascarpone and vanilla mouse was a beautiful treat for Valentines Day. The Manager was so attentive, checking in to make sure we were well taken care of. IMO, Restaurant Medure is the best restaurant in North FL."
"I was actually very impressed by this place. Seahorse Grill has not been on my radar but when a group went for dinner, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.I started with the baby greens salad which came with blueberry balsamic vinaigrette and mango. The vinaigrette had just the right amount of sweetness and I enjoyed the blueberries that were topping the salad, as well as the pecans. Mango slices were served underneath. They were great for just a little added texture and freshness. As a lover of bread, I enjoyed the warm bread basket. After enjoying our salads, hot rolls, straight out of the oven, appeared at the table. The butter just melted effortlessly in them. For my entrée, I had the snapper with tasso ham, collard greens, and a chili cream sauce. I wanted to taste the fish by itself so I asked for the sauce on the side and they were happy to comply with this request. The snapper was lightly grilled and very flaky. The star of the show, however, was the vegetable underneath. The greens had a little bit of sweetness to them and they had a nice crunchiness. I thought they were very well prepared. All of the desserts sounded fantastic, making the decision quite difficult. I went with the deconstructed carrot cake which was a cake, almost in cupcake form, that was filled with cream cheese. There was also caramel sauce, a sweeter cream cheese icing, and a few walnuts on the plate. The pineapple ice cream that came along side of it was a great pairing for the dessert.Just when we were stuffed, they brought out a plate of oatmeal raisin cookies and chocolates. I brought the chocolate home but I had to pass on the cookies as I was just too full. The restaurant offers a gorgeous view of the ocean. Throughout dinner, we watched the sun set and the waves roll in. Service was very attentive and parking was very easy across the street."
"A wonderful experience at Coop 303! This area of Jax Beach is so cute, filled with a ton of walkable shops and restaurants. It was the weekend so it was quite packed, and most of the restaurants had over an hour wait. Fortunately, we walked into Coop 303 at the right time because the three of us were able to be seated right away.Service was fantastic! The menu is small, but filled with delicious options. We had to start with the Peaches & Cream - fried green tomatoes, burrata cheese, peach jam, and a mustard balsamic reduction. We also ordered the baked oysters, and as my main I went with the Coop 303 Fried Chicken Basket - 48 hour dill pickle brined. Incredible and so juicy! The truffle parmesan tater tots were the perfect side along with garlic mashed potatoes. If you didn't already know, I'm a potato girly. Hope to make it back here again for another delicious dinner!"
"Delicias Centroamericanas is the very definition of a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. This is a tiny, nondescript restaurant on Mason Avenue on the Daytona Beach and Holly Hill line. This is the type of place that you would drive by a thousand times and never notice and if you did by chance notice the restaurant, you would probably not even give the place a second thought. I was looking for this restaurant and almost drove by it.Anyway, to call this place small is an understatement. There are maybe seven tables in the whole place. It is simply and inexpensively decorated. However, the food here is definitely the shining star. I opted for three tacos and a papusa. For the tacos, I went with two carne asada and one chorizo. For my papusa, I went with the traditional papusa with pork, beans and cheese. They were incredibly priced at two dollars a taco and $2.50 for the papusa. And for that little bit of money, you got a good amount of food with a whole lot of flavor. The tacos and the papusa were all extremely good. Service was friendly and a glimpse inside the kitchen shown a woman cutting chicken and preparing some of the amazing food coming out of this kitchen.I got the food to go, so I cannot remark on how a dine-in experience would be, but I found the staff here very friendly. I would definitely recommend the small restaurant. The tacos and the papusa were all exceptionally good and I will definitely be returning."
"Came in around 10:30 am since I saw they open early which was nice. The staff are really friendly and the faculty is very clean and welcoming. I opted for a large build your own bowl. I chose brown rice and greens as my base, salmon and tuna as my protein, with toppings of seaweed salad, shredded carrots, cucumber, edamame, and mango, plus avocado and krab. It was delicious! Really fresh and the flavors were great. The portion sizes were generous as well. Really enjoyed it, glad it's close to my work, definitely will be back again soon!"
"Excellent as always. Pasta/ Eggplant Parm / Collard Greens. Service was top-notch and marinara super flavorful."
"Oh my goodness. Run,Run,Run to dine and drink at Whiskey Cake. Our afternoon started off meeting our amazing server Bailey! What a treat she is.We spent the afternoon sipping delicious whiskey and bourbon as well as specialty cocktails The vibe was vibrant inviting and a bit sultry with a twist of neighborhood! It was fun!Me ordered deviled eggs to start. So delicious. Chicken and Waffles, c hi v c j k en Rigatoni and a Chicken Salad were our choices. All were delicious.Whiskey Cake to go. Delicious! I may stop in for a whiskey neat and a Whiskey Cake. Thanks Bailay! See ya soon!"
"AWESOME! Service was genuine, cheerful, and helpful. Housemade bacon excellent, Lyonnaise salad really special, and omg they nailed the French omelette! I wish I lived nearby. This place would be a regular stop!"
"I love the Neptune beach southern grounds location. Although it gets busy on weekends, I can always find space to work on my projects. The food is absolutely delicious and there are many dietary options. I love Sogro coffee and sometimes even enjoy drinking it black to enjoy the bold flavor."
"Just moved to the top of my local favorites. We started with the muscles and an Orsay salad; both were delightful. Main course was the Boeuf Wellington (which requires 24 hours notice) and it was fantastic, beautifully made, savory flavor in every bite! We ended with the apple frangipani and it was so good! I'm actually ready to make my next reservation and just reorder the same. A highly recommended, must try!Service was excellent and ambience too!"
"Food was delicious! Went as a birthday gathering so we got all the appetizers (highly recommend the pretzel dip, wings, and gator tail). Also split a burger with my friend and it was top notch. The ambience was a lot of fun, dark but still a happy/welcoming environment.Server did great even with our large group. Kept everyone straight and met every request.Drink list also has something for everyone if you choose to indulge."
"Back to Clean Eatz to check out the new menu and of course great to see some new tasty options. Clean Eatz does it both. You can get lunch and dinner and you can also you them for meal prep depending on what you are looking at getting out of it. I will say Clean Eatz is on the healthy side for me but the food and service is always amazing so I of course am going to continue to come back and who knows new year new me. Gotta have some health in your life right? We of course had to start out with a snack and went with the Pretzel Bites w/ Queso. Now these are whole wheat pretzels and let me tell you. I would have never known. They taste just as good as a regular one. Now I will say Clean Eatz puts the number of calories on there menus but for the first time this is good news when I order from here. Everything is low cal and extremely tasty. For my entrée I went with the Bison Burger the Clean Eatz way which comes with lettuce, tomato, bacon and cheese. This also comes with a side and I went with the Mac & Cheese for my side. All this for just $11.99. You can't beat a Bison Burger for that price along with a side. Also this was all under 500 calories. I Honestly don't know how for this good can be so good for you. I also got to try Ashley's Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. The wrap was full of chicken and plenty of buffalo sauce making it have great spice. The Sweet Potato Waffle Fries were probably the best of any I have had and I don't even really like sweet potato fries but these for sure do it for me. We also had to have some sweet and who doesn't love buckeyes and yes the peanut butter has extra protein in it. We will continue to come back for great food, prices, and who knows maybe this is year I lose weight from eating out!"
"We love this restaurant and have been coming for years. We have had breakfast, lumch and dinners here while we stay at the hotel it is located in, One Ocean. Everything we have gotten has been great and recommend it all!"
"Beautiful! So pleasantly surprised with this spot - the atmosphere, both indoor and outdoor, the food, the service, the cocktails - will definitely be back."
"Ordered:Broke & Famous cocktail (~$12): Bergamot vodka, grapefruit, ginger, honeyPrime Skirt Steak (~$38): skirt steak, chimichurri, and mashed potatoes, and substituted broccolini (~$3)Shrimp Scampi (~$29): Key West shrimp, linguine, white wine, butter, cherry tomatoes, pecorino romanoBurrata & Fig (~$20): fig jam, burrato cheese, sourdough, and basilMussel Frites (~$24): mussels, truffle fries, and black garlic aioliGrilled Wings (~$15): garlic parmesan flavorAya's take:Mama Foo Foo is trendy and classy with a nice ambiance - great for dates, dinner with friends, or other celebrations. Most of the food we had was great. The main highlights were the addictive Mussel Frites! I also loved how tender and juicy the Grilled Wings were. The Prime Skirt Steak completely lacked seasoning; I'm talking no salt or pepper. I had to ask my waiter to bring me some to help make it a bit more palpable. I didn't understand why I was charged ~$3 for substituting a vegetable; it wasn't an add-on. The Shrimp Scampi was decent, as well. The Broke & Famous cocktail missed the mark for me entirely; it wasn't a cohesive drink at all and the grapefruit was way too overpowering. All in all, it was a decent experience but the menu offerings seemed hit or miss."
"I have always wanted to sneak downtown and grab lunch here but never seemed to be able to make it....well when I saw they were doing a fall tasting I jumped on it!! We had a great time!!! You bought a ticket to come sample some fall tastes compliments of Cafe Nola...As we walked in we were greeted warmly by some lovely ladies and the space looked beautiful....white, clean, modern. It was an open bar( on this night for the tasting, lucky us!) and at the bar they had some creative drinks: a fancy sangria, a modified Mai Tai, an elevated mimosa! Yum, all tasted great and strong! They also were passing ginger pumpkin and apple cider Jell-O shots, delish!! Now the food was set up at different stations they had a charred corn salad with couscous- love roasted fresh corn......Oysters with a Bloody Mary sorbet- sooooo good, I'm not crazy about raw oysters but these were just wonderful and that Bloody Mary sorbet worked perfectly, slightly spicy and peppery......Korean brisket lettuce wraps- ah my favorite, meat marinated and cooked perfect, then you added your own toppings, pickled onions, kimchi, Asian slaw, peanuts, sesame seeds...I loved this dish and could have eaten like 6 of these! If this is a sampling of what Cafe Nola is serving I will definitely be back to do a full dinner!!Also after eating and drinking we got to go upstairs and check out MOCA, so freakin cool, amazing art up there! Great night out!! I highly recommend anyone check it out! And I hear they have another one of these tasting parties coming up in November! :)"
"I'm always looking for live music. Not just live but good and soulful music! Service was on time and still hot. Food was delicious and drinks were good.Bathroom very clean and nice.Seating is a little tight, but I can work with. The ticket price is a little pricey but for the experience and music; nothing seems to compare to a grown, sexy and talented atmosphere. A+ on the parking, bring located downtown can be difficult. Specially on a date night!"
"The food here is consistent and always fairly decent. I think the prices aren't bad either. The service was friendly and attentive when we visited last and we were seated promptly, despite it being lunchtime on Saturday. The booths aren't the most comfortable, but they're not bad for two people. We enjoyed our pulled pork and smoked chicken with various sides. The cheese grits were pretty tasty and I'd recommend them over the coleslaw I picked as a side dish. I think using new "real" plates (rather than the old blue melamine ones they've got) would go a long way towards improving my impression of this place. It's clear that it's in need of something new or fresh on the inside. That being said, I've never had an issues with the quality or taste of the food."
"Another enjoyable visit to Wally's. I don't know which is my favorite, the food or Jacob, the owner. I had the Gyro Philly sub which was awesome! Grilled Gyro meat piled generously over grilled mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese, along side ripe tomatoes. Sone excellent Tabouleh on the side. My grandson had a huge cheeseburger along side thier always hit and crispy well seasoned fries. We took home some delicious crispy and buttery Baklava. Jacob was also the cook today. He is a most awesome and beautifully kind person. He is quick to light up with a warm smile to make you feel welcome and appreciated."
"What a cute place. So glad I found it on Yelp and read through some reviews because it motivated me to select it for our family dinner. And we were very pleased. We had a large group and I will start with my first compliment, which is that they accommodated a group of 11 and best of all...I could make a reservation that night on Open Table. Loved that convenience. When we arrived we were graciously greeted by the owner and it all went beautifully from there. He made some excellent recommendations. Everything ordered at the entire table was excellent from the gator tail to the kids burger to the kids chicken (the fries were amazing) to the sea scallops to the pork bolognese. He was attentive and personable. (And the sauce with the gator tail was an excellent dipping sauce for the French fries!) So glad we decided to venture to a new, unknown spot. It did not disappoint."
