"Both locations are amazing but I always love the alachua location more mainly bc it's so much larger and parking is way easier than at the tioga location. Same amazing food and service as the original- the team members always do their best to make sure it's a friendly clean environment. My go to is always the loaded carne asada fries and the carnitas loaded quesadilla. But literally everything they have is wonderful. They also have a unique selection of local products from stickers and postcards to candles and natural products. Check them out."

We arrived by bits and pieces, so our server came over each time to get drink orders. I had the skinny margarita and it was excellent. Once everyone had their drinks, our server disappeared for quite some time, and we finally had to ask someone else if they could take our order.Once the order was placed, food came out quickly. I went with my standard Mexican order of fajitas, trying the chicken since they didn't offer an all shrimp order. The portions were huge, and the fajitas were decent, but actually lacking flavor. We also had to wait for them to bring out the tortillas after everyone had their food.All in all a good experience, although I was disappointed they didn't do anything for my Mom's birthday."

"Came here to eat with my car club and the food was great. Nothing is super complicated here but the prices are chefs kiss. I don't think anyone in my group had a tab over $20. The waitress was super nice and did well with handling our party of 7. Food came out very quickly and the orders were all correct and hot.We sat outside and they had fans blowing while we enjoyed the breeze. The portion sizes are great and it wasn't very busy which gave our group a more intimate vibe. Overall I enjoyed the visit and would come back."

"So, I am giving 5 starts because the fish was seasoned PERFECTLY and cooked PERFECTLY as well. I believe the fish is mahi it was very light but held the flavor very well. The rice was also flavorful and cooked to perfection (not dry) the refried beans were also good as well. The service was great I was greeted with a smile. I got my food quickly. The whole meal cost $17.30 not bad but I think another taco could be in there for that price because you only get a small slice of fish. But overall taste was perfectly the cabbage added a nice crunch/texture difference."

And so looking at their menu, I decided to get their 3 tacos deal for $9, opting to get 2 Pupusas and 1 Steak Taco. It took awhile to get my food, because it was made to order. But it was well worth the wait. Folks, the food here is legit; authentic.What may seem small on the outside is big in the inside, big as in Big Taste. I am already planning to come back here to try one of their soups....well...amongst others. Additionally, they have outside seating, as well as a covered patio to accommodate seating.I'll be back."

Located in sleepy downtown Palatka, Mariachiles has its own private lot but also there is plenty of nearby free street parking. I was pretty impressed by its vegetarian section on the menu and opted to get two veggie soft tacos. They were piled with roasted corn, spinach, black beans and avocado. Nicely grilled and seasoned on flour tortillas, two of them made a perfect dinner. Nice warm chips came complimentary along with flavorful salsa. The interior is larger than it looks from the front and goes back quite a way. Lots of booths, regular tables and a bar area. My family lives locally and said they also go there when the restaurant hosts trivia nights.Nice staff and quick service, I was pretty impressed with the food quality and flavor."

Their salsa is very good, though. I Never got a refill on my water, even asked when she brought my wife her soda refill. Food had a bland taste to it. I threw some of the salsa on my chicken soft tacos and added some flavor. Rice and the beans were actually burnt and crispy, probably under a heat lamp too long. So wasn't too happy with lunch."

"Quick, cheap, and most importantly delicious. Taco Charro delivers the food that you expect to get from a food truck. The food taste authentic, natural, and is easy to pick up and go. I usually grab three to four tacos when I stop by. The steak and chorizo tacos are my favorite and I try to ask for a grilled Jalapeño on the side for some serious heat. The tacos are about $2 each and they pack them full of meat, so you are basically getting two tacos for the price of one. Other places give out chips with there meals, but I can honestly say that I don't even need them with the quality of food I get from Taco Charro. They also offer glass bottle drinks which is nice. It might be a little intimidating getting out of your car at night to grab food from a truck, but trust me it is worth it. There is usually a couple people ordering anyways so it's not like a secluded Friday the 13th type situation. If food trucks can continue this quality I will be sure to make an effort to try more."

Today was a disappointing visit as the waiter seemed irritated that we came to dine. We arrived at 7:25 on a Sunday and they close at 9:00 so plenty of time. The food was just ok today and maybe the waiter affected that for me. He just made very little effort to make us feel welcome, didn't inquire about options that he should have, didn't ask us if we wanted more chips and salsa, etc. etc. you get the picture. Armando, do better. While we will probably return hoping for one of the better experiences, we won't be rushing back."

Staff is friendly and food was ready on time for my scheduled picked up time. We ordered La Prima fries, chips and guacamole, (3)carne tacos, and (2)carnitas tacos; order was a little over $35 a little pricey for Mexican food. The guacamole was my favorite, very fresh and came with plenty of chips. My daughter's fries were cold, this was a bit disappointing but she said they were still good. The beans were a little salty and carnitas tacos needed salsa for a bit more flavor in my opinion. Definitely worth a visit!"

Rey sweet and helpful with suggestions and explaining some of the items on the menu.We started off with chips and salsa it was so good then on to the Roasted Cheese Jalapeños, they were very flavorful with goat cheese and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar I think on the top. The Birria Tacos were amazing the meat was so good I didn't even want to eat it as a taco. They were topped with chopped onions and cilantro which added a taste.The final topper was the most delicious flan that I have ever had.This was such a great dinner, everything was beyond delicious!"

Located in a desolate parking lot is more Jacksonville taco nirvana.First and foremost, you'll discover a DIY condiment bar with all the cilantro, pico de gallo, radishes, and salsa verdes your little heart desires. If you're expecting fine dining, go somewhere else. You order from a truck, and sit underneath a covered tented area with a handful of tables and chairs. Asada, Pastor, Pollo. They were out of Chorizo the freezing cold night we went. All tacos are $3 and all of the ones I tried were great. I loaded on bucketfuls of cilantro, diced white onion, and even though not pictured, salsa verde. In my opinion, the tortillas were the star of the show. I would eat them on their own with no sauce. C'mon now, tortilla heaven! Meat was very delicious too, however, not my favorite in town, and the Asada was just a bit over done. That's me nitpicking though.If you know, you know. If you don't know, now you know. Definitely worth the trek for the seasoned taco expert!"

The result is a party of flavors in your mouth .Parking is convenient, services stellar, and the ambience was diner, but the dining room is very clean.But you wanna know about the food?Mexican Street Corn - I love Mexican Street corn however this dish very too far away from the Mexican style for me. And while I love, corn, and I thought this dish was good. It was not a dish that I loved.Taco Bell - now this was something special, large portions, perfectly grilled chicken, along with all the fixings. Perfect for my daughter who is dairy gluten-free. GET THIS DISH.Wet burrito - this is my sons go to any Mexican restaurant we go to and he loved his burrito. He's a big eater, but he only could eat half of the food that we brought out. The customer service was great, we spoke broken Spanish and the staff spoke English well enough for us to get our order in correctly. We ordered tacos. The tortillas were perfect, the meats were seasoned great (carnitas & chicken) and the toppings were generous. They have a few salsas you can try depending on your spice sensitivity level. They had live entertainment and the service was pretty good. Now- the food was excellent. The portions were huge but we always like to take food home since we don't eat out a lot anymore. So, we did order quite a bit. Check out the pics to see. They had the best rice and beans! Also, their chips and salsa are the best in town. I also really like their Coctel de Camarones. It was refreshing with it being served in a large cup mixed with tomatoes, onions and cilantro. It also had a lime and orange wedge. On the side of the shrimp cocktail were two tortillas and some crackers. I ordered the Plato fiesta and it too had shrimp in a spicy sauce with a slice of chicken breast and steak. I liked the shrimp cocktail the best."
