"We went for lunch today and took some friends that has never been to Sushi Bear before. They loved what they got for lunch! We always get the hibachi with fried rice and chicken. Today we decided to get the shrimp and it was delicious. I think we will get this next time as well. We also got the Dynamite Sushi Roll to share. This is just one of our favorites. Our friends got the hibachi with fried rice and chicken. They said "wow" after lunch and said they can't wait to come back.Today the service was great! The food was great! The atmosphere was great! * Today they sang happy birthday to a person at the other table. This was soooo neat how they did it. Hopefully when you go you can hear them sing happy birthday."
"We were excited to try their menu and ordered for eat in. We had their salad and soup first. The lettuce was cold and the ginger dressing was pretty good. The soup was warm and had a light flavor that I really enjoyed. We both ordered teriyaki. Chicken and shrimp for me, steak and chicken for my dinner partner. The food came out quickly and we did both like the chicken. The steak was bit chewy and my shrimp not as firm and sweet as I like. I also wished the sauce had a bit more flavor. The broccoli was a little under cooked/steamed and needed seasoning. We were glad we stopped by, however, if we go again we will order something different.Make sure you check in for a YELP treat."

"I try to bring my lunch to work as much as possible but when I don't I find myself at Indochine. I call in my order and then about 15 minutes later I walk in, pick up, and have a nice and tasty quick lunch for myself. I love the Chicken Satay! 5 delicious grilled coconut curry chicken skewers with a coconut curry dipping sauce. I like to add a tiny bit of their chili oil for a little kick.Indochine is a little hard to find if you aren't familiar with it. It's located on top of the old burrito galley. The stairs to the entrance are to the right of the old burrito galley entrance."
"Hana Yori after thoughts - place is simply yet elegantly furnished that reminds me of my days in Okinawa, the square patron personalized wooden planks that surround the walls are a wonderful touch of Japanese decor. Table settings are spacious & clean. Attendants are friendly & quick in service.Dinner selections:Sushi Plate (served with Cali & Tempura Rolls, after served, learnt it was the correct amount paired with the 5 nigiri sushi selected by chef) - fish was fresh & served exactly like sushi in Okinawa - with thin wasabi placed between the fish & rice. THIS IS NOW #1 in my JAX SUSHI SPOT just for quality, preparation & portions!!! Wasabi & ginger (Gari) is good quality as well. This meal is served with salad, opting for ginger dressing that was crisp, cool & a delight start of my meal.Extra order: Yellowtail & California Roll - both correctly rolled into bite size pieces, not huge like other restaurants that can be difficult to place in one's mouth, making consumption an unpleasant experience. Repeat, 2 extra rolls would have been difficult to finish if Mom was not present to assist. 2 rolls included in "Sushi Plate" is perfect for 1 person.Shrimp & White Fish Combo Hibachi with teriyaki sauce on the side (normally served over white fish) - Mom enjoyed this dish, fish was good portion, vegetables were delicately cooked & the shrimps were plenty, cooked to perfection.Recommendations: hot tea, tolerable but could be better quality "green tea" that is meant to enhance the sushi meal. Clear soup served with sushi, also tolerable but needs refinement in overall taste.A TRUE SUSHI LOVERS MUST TRY HOT SPOT!!! .5 of (4.5 of 5)"
"Everything tasted fresh! Great deals for a Sunday. They have Tori, uni and hamachi Kama! We will definitely be back!"
"We frequent this location at least 3 times a month. Always fast service, fresh consistent food."
"Yet another great sushi dinner brought to us by trusting Yelp. We've tried (and reviewed) a lot of sushi places in the area. Nothing has really disappointed us but only a few have stood out. Crazy Sushi is a stand out.Like many places in the area, it doesn't look like much from the outside. When you get inside, you see a place that's bigger than you'd expect and a VERY busy take out station. They were pretty packed when we went on a Friday night but we were still sat immediately. Our waitress was on top of things as she took care of us and at least 3 other tables. We order a good variety of stuff between apps and rolls. Everything was as good or better than we were hoping. We're usually in that area on Friday nights and I'm reasonably sure that Crazy Sushi will be our go-to place in the area now."
"Saw this sushi place as my best option for sushi in Jax, since it was close to my friend's house. I was visiting from Nashville and wanted to take her to the nearest and fanciest sushi place. She said the reviews were great and was excited to go. The sushi lunch special was good, but I would have bought the sashimi special she selected. It was a great price and delicious! The crab Rangoon was the best. Ambience was perfect with the colored lighting. Place was clean. Staff was nice. I didn't like that free wifi was not available. Still 5 stars!"
"Finally managed to sneak over here without the entourage we usually have to bring (i.e., son, daughter in law, grand daughter...) to enjoy dinner together, just the hubby and myself. Usually on a Saturday night, this place is PACKED and not just for dinner! We've been once or twice on a Saturday and sworn we'd never go on that night again because of the half drunk women and men at the bar, the thumping music turned up loud so they're all yelling to be heated over the music...you get the picture...No so, tonight. Tonight we settled into our booth with the football game on (turned so low you can't hear it), the restaurant filled with the quiet murmur of voices of the other couples enjoy their meals...there was even a party of 15 seated at the long table up front with children (not that you'd have noticed since they were so quiet and well-behaved!) enjoying what looked like a family get-together.Can't help coming back here over and over...the food is CONSISTENTLY THAT GOOD. Sushi? Out of this world! Hibachi? Knocks it out of the ballpark! But omg...their clear soup is something you just want a kiddie pool size of so you can almost bathe in that stuff...look at our bowls! Yeah. There's nothing left!!Their house salads with that ginger dressing? Equally delicious. Their yum-yum sauce (they call it shrimp sauce) is on point and so is their steak sauce. We have never been disappointed with anything we've eaten here. It's always hot, freshly prepared, delicious! So much better than any other place I've tried...what's that saying? "Always copied, never duplicated". That's this place. I've tried so many hibachi places, sushi places...no place I've been to HAS BOTH under the same roof. The service is excellent, haven't found anything to ever complain about except the occasional drunk or obnoxious patron, but that's not the establishment's fault. That's society's fault If you love sushi...or if you don't, but you love hibachi...or tempura, or gyoza dumplings, seaweed salad...any Japanese dish you can think of or combination of sushi flavors...fried rolls or raw rolls....sushi or sashimi pieces too...try this place and you'll find your newest fav spot to have that night out!!"
"Let me preface this with the fact that I was here with a group of ten people. Serving that many people and keeping the experience seamless is a skill that a lot of restaurants do not have. Nori not only handled the group beautifully, but when it came time to settle up the bill, despite several people trying to pick up different items, they managed it without issue. Neither my wife nor I are big fans of sushi so we both ordered the hibachi. My shrimp and steak were both cooked to perfection. The vegetables were under seasoned which left them feeling g a little bland. The sushi was a Huge (yes I capitalized the word huge intentionally) hit. Our group had ordered two separate sushi "boats" plus several additional rolls. There was not a single unhappy (or hungry) person left at the table."
"We decided to do a girls night out and everyone agreed on sushi. We decided on Fuji sushi and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Baymeadows roll and loved it. This will be my go to. If you are hungry and like all you can eat, this place is for you. I cannot do all you can eat so I just ordered the two rolls in wanted. They were nice size and the price was great. Will be visiting again"
"Early dinner for us, we arrived at about 545p on a weekday and were seated immediately. Our server, Jay, took our drink orders while we took a look at the menus. We ordered sushi & 4 hibachi entrees. They were large servings. I barely finished my chicken hibachi entree, because I was full from Sushi (both rolls were tasty!) We all really enjoyed our dinner and will be back soon! Thanks for the great meal, service & atmosphere, Otaki!Side note: the parking lot gets crowded. Especially during the day."

The service is really good! I haven't had their sushi but based off their name, I think it would be pretty good! They have a nice interior!on the left wall where I usually sit they have like colored wood blocks that have little drawings! Fried rice is good too.

Kazu is always spectacular! My best friend and I had dinner last night and both agreed that the food here really is top tier. It's the freshest quality, the best flavors, and excellent service. Yung was very pleasant & helpful in our sake selection (we went with the Snow Maiden - delicious!) and was prompt with service. Our absolute favorite roll was the Lemon Drop roll. However, everything here is so fresh that you can't really go wrong. The edamame was a nice surprise with our yelp check-in. The vibe is relaxed & cozy, yet very nice. It's a place that you can stop at after a day of shopping with friends, or a nice date night. Will definitely be back!

Came here for lunch with the team and everyone enjoyed all the variety! From peanut dishes, drunken noodles and more... I enjoyed a green curry that has a great amount of chicken in it! My curry was a level 4 heat of 6 and wasn't very hot could have gone up easily but everyone said sometimes 4 is crazy hot others it's not, so be cautious! On addition to that ...The chili oil was a great add on and the server was great!

Fancy sushi is my favorite place for sushi at the beaches. It is always fresh and they give you a house roll that is unique and the perfect appetizer.Everything always comes out as expected and one time, they put a big old beautiful ceramic tree on our plate which made our night! If you're craving sushi, this is the spot!

I enjoyed a great meal at Crazy Sushi last night. I hadn't been there in years, but will definitely be adding it to the rotation now. Family members enjoyed the Green Dragon Roll & the Teppanyaki Vegetable entree. I ordered the Rock In Roll (shrimp tempura, krab, cheese, fish egg, cucumber) & the Tempa Bay Roll (tempura white fish, cream cheese, cucumber, eel sauce). Both rolls were full of fresh-tasting ingredients & the tempura fried items were cooked perfectly. In addition to the food, we were also very impressed by our server, David. He was on top of everything without being intrusive and incredibly friendly. I heard him conversing with the patron immediately behind us, a regular who happened to comment to him about how great his service always is. So kudos to both Crazy Sushi & David for a great experience!

This place had a great vibe! Service was super fast and friendly! My server was Charlie (my sons name as well) and she was just lovely and super attentive! The food was delicious and came out super fast! I know I got a more basic Philly Roll but I love cream cheese and avocado in it! And the Gyoza was really tasty! So glad I was able to stop by and enjoy!

"It was all literally perfect. including the service, the food, and the boba teas very pleased with this place I would definitely come again"
"Hubby had a taste for some Pan Thai noodles and found the Kawa Sushi Restaurant nearby. After enjoying his noodles he was so excited for me to check out this 'new spot'. There are so many positives with this restaurant. #1. Their Thai Bubble Tea is DELICIOUS! #2. Their music was so calming and soothing - slow as well as contemporary. Need to know the station. #3. The staff is welcoming and attentive. #4. The restrooms are clean! Now that's important! Our server, Ella, was nice and courteous. She wanted to make sure, our meals were prepared to our liking. I don't eat spicy whereas hubby loves fire-breathing hot. My salad was fresh and tasty with the ginger dressing.Even though the restaurant has been around for 11 years, the food is excellent! You have choices on the level of heat and the numerous food selections. We have found another 'repeat' spot that makes us happy!"
"I wish my second experience was as soon as my first. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday... the same time and day as last week. Tonight we had to wait for a few minutes to be acknowledged & a couple more to be seated. Once we were seated, it took about 5 minutes for someone to come around for our drink order. Other issues I ran into:- For my sushi order, I ordered 4 rolls, but only two came... so I waited a few minutes and then confirmed with a waitress. She apologized. But then 3 rolls showed up, one I definitely didn't have an intention on ordering. My "people pleaser" side came out so I said it was fine. But this extra roll made me feel forced to over eat something I didn't enjoy (so I wasn't charged for food leftover)- I ordered 7 pieces of sashimi (3 eel, 2 salmon, one Tobiko) - instead, 2 eels came, 2 salmon, and 2 Tobiko) - after asking for our check, the staff forgot to bring back our card (just brought our receipt to sign) - lukewarm bottled water (not an issue if you don't mind drinking water at that temp) All this aside, my husband's order was perfect. No issues at all. Another note: The ambiance was much busier & much louder this time."
"I can't believe I forgot how good this place is! I came back in this week after not having been in at least a year and wow , so good! And the prices are amazing ! I had the hibachi chicken for my first time, which I had no idea came with both noodles, rice, vegetables, soup and a salad ! What a steal! And so good! I also had a spicy salmon role, which was so good! The space is pretty small but it is nice and clean! The service is always nice and quick! P.S. use the menu on their website not on Apple Maps!"
"This was our first time at Pacific Asian Bistro. Service was fantastic. Neat and clean. Very affordable lunch specials. We ordered bbq ribs appetizer which was very flavourful. I had beef and broccoli with white rice. It tasted great. There was a bit too much sauce for my liking but next time I will just ask for less sauce. My husband had the chicken and broccoli which was also good. The lunch meal came with a choice of soup or egg roll and both were good."
"Amazing all you can eat place.... They have everything from rolls, hibachi and appetizers. First time there and will def be back for $15"
"I don't know why Wasabi has 3 stars but it deserves 5. I took my kids here for lunch & we all enjoyed the experience as well as the food. I tend to compare every hibachi restaurant to Arigato Steakhouse in Greensboro, NC. I travel a good bit & I don't care where I've gone nothing has topped Arigato or even came close. So, normally I'm one visit and done. But, Wasabi was definitely a very strong second & I absolutely will be returning!"
"Our quick to go spot for sushi! Same mom server who is always so nice and kind to us. We always have a good experience here. It's quiet, intimate and clean. I order a different roll each time and it's always so good! A bento box is a bento box. Everywhere I go they all taste the same. I'm not fond of them. It is your basic japanese lunch food and it's not supposed to be mindblowing. So I don't understand some reviews expecting it to be the highlight of a japanese restaurant. Hence, I order sushi. But we order it anyway to share with my family of 4 with a toddler and a baby. (My baby eats the veggie tempura, win! And my toddler eats the rice and chicken, double win!) Hubby and I get more rolls on top of our signature rolls and gyoza as appetizer (winner winner chicken dinner!) This place always feels like home to us. No need to worry about a crowd unlike other sushi places."
"I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time for the all you can eat sushi and hibachi. My daughter and I went on a Saturday during lunch and it was pretty busy. We only waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. My first impression walking in was it was dark inside and the tables are VERY close to each other. We were seated in the back and the tables next to us were so close I had to walk sideways just to sit on the opposite end of our table. After about 5 minutes of sitting, our waitress took our drink order but didn't explain how things worked as far as ordering. Maybe she thought we were regulars? We did see people around us that seemed to know what they were doing but it would have been nice to ask if we've been there before. Anyways, we saw the little pieces of papers on our table and just jotted the corresponding numbers of the menu items we both wanted on this paper. When the waitress returned we gave it to her. The food would then sporadically be brought to us on small plates. One thing we realized is each person should fill in their own orders per sheet and write their seat number (seat number was written on the paper placemat where you were sitting). The food was ok. I enjoyed the salmon. The steak was inconsistent whereas the first order was tender and flavorful however the second order was tough and gristly. My daughter said the sushi was ok. It looked very simple with just raw fish on a mound of rice. She didn't care for the deep fried roll because of the batter. The lunch price is a good deal for what they offer. The only caveat is knowing what to order that's good because they have a No Waste Policy and will charge you for leftovers. Overall the price was reasonable. I didn't care how the tables were too close together and how dark it was inside. As far as service, there may have been a language barrier between our waitress because when I tried to ask a question about something on the menu (I just wanted to know how many pieces of sushi came in an order), she waved her hand and said "No" assuming she didn't know anything about the menu."
"Fantastic sushi spot, one of my favorite restaurants in JAX. Service is always outstanding. Extremely clean & friendly. Love this place!"
"We placed a large to go order last night and I was really impressed with the quick service as well as the sushi! All the rolls were on a large platter and everything looked so good! The Batman bomb roll was our family's favorite! The woman who took our order included a free order of crab rangoons which were a huge hit with the kids. I regret that I didn't take any pictures to share. But we will be ordering again soon!"
"Sumo Sushi ReviewSumo Sushi is hands down one of my favorite spots to grab takeout, especially their salmon hibachi. The portions are generous, always leaving me satisfied, and the meal comes with everything you'd want--rice (white or fried), soup, salad, veggies, and your choice of protein. The food is consistently fresh, and while the prep time is usually around 15-30 minutes, it's well worth it. I order from here at least once a month, and it never disappoints! Highly recommend for a quality hibachi meal on the go."
"This little spot in Fleming Island is a great break from the ordinary. We had the beef steak pho, chicken pho, and the Chicken and Rice hibachi with steamed broccoli and carrots for the kiddo. The food was delicious and full of unique flavors... I ate so much I went into a food coma. You can order and pickup to take out but if you stay in for table service, the service was excellent as everyone was very friendly and eager to help with anything we asked. We will definitely be back!"
"At the intersection of Phillips and JTB is a very mellow and really good Sushi spot. From the bento boxes to the various rolls(cooked and uncooked), I am always full and happy when I leave here. The care and love the Chefs have for their craft really shines through. Tonight, I had both the Salomon Katsu and the Kama Tuna rolls. Once again, I leave happy and satisfied. Navigating the menu is fun and easy."
"Sat down for dine in and ordered the miso soup and gyoza to start. The miso soup is amazing! The fried gyoza, l while delicious, was lacking in meat; there was a lot of breading , but overall the taste is still still appealing!I ordered the shrimp fried rice while very delicious I asked for no onions and it came with them... it happens but I love for restaurants to be on top of those things. My boyfriend ordered a pork shogayki (apologies of spelled wrong), we thought it was fried but is not.Our waitress was really sweet. Miss Lola had a light, and sweet energy with lovely blue eyeshadow. She was definitely a sunshine in the night time. Our service was fast, we had more than one waitress come to us just to make sure we were OK and if we need anything else; I really appreciated that. The atmosphere was very relaxing with soft lighting, and mellow music.Definitely come here if you want a cute quick date night with bae!"
"This place is super cute! Cozy location and yummy reasonable priced food! Located in a super chill plaza so you can be in and out if you need quick service they got your covered. The location's decor was top tier as far as themes go! I loved the way the table was set-up if you're into all the little details like me. Pink Himalayan salt grinders and Peppercorn grinders, was a very nice touch! Well stocked with less sodium and traditional soy sauce, the shrimp sauce was at our table as well to help yourself when we were seated. Our server was attentive, kept our drinks full and just all around nice.Good time because that's what we're all here for right?I throughly enjoyed my sushi! I am a relatively new sushi consumer lol but I have been a seafood lover since my entire existence and the seafood was fresh and cleaned well, it was all just good! The price?!?! I won't be going anywhere else for my sushi's from now on! If you're even thinking of giving this place a try go with your gut and you'll be well pleased! Don't pass this place up."
"If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Tokyo is a true culinary gem that deserves all the praise in the world. The quality of their food, cleanliness, and exceptional service are top tier. First and foremost, the food at Tokyo is nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish is a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. The flavors are bold yet balanced, and every bite feels like a celebration of culinary artistry. The service at Tokyo is a level above what you might find elsewhere. The staff is not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly attentive without being intrusive. My servers were knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and ensuring that my dining experience was seamless. In conclusion, Tokyo is a food lover's paradise that excels in quality, cleanliness, and service. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this restaurant promises a gastronomic adventure that will leave you wanting more. I can't wait to return to explore even more of what Tokyo's has to offer! Highly recommended!"
"We went to see the night of lights in St Aug. and stopped here on the way. It was very quiet and somewhere you wouldn't usually stop seeing from the sign. It was clean inside, the house sake tasted freshly heated. The ramen it wasn't their strong suit... that's mostly our fault ordering something at a steakhouse. I would stop again to try it again."
"I've made it a personal challenge to try every sushi place in Jacksonville and this cute little spot was next on my list!I came in just the other night to satisfy my (never ending) sushi craving. We were seated after a 10 minute wait but it was totally worth it. We both started out with a miso soup and after much deliberation ordered the tiger roll, caterpillar roll, black dragon and chefs roll. All were fresh and tasty-sushi perfection. The star of the show was definitely the tiger roll. It paired pineapple, cream cheese and salmon. It was our wild card pick of the night that quickly became a favorite. The sweetness of the pineapple goes great with the creaminess of the cream cheese and the delicious salmon. The prices at this place are awesome! They charge very fairly for the price and portion of the rolls. These rolls are definitely bigger than most sushi places in the area! For a party of two we paid $30! That is hard to beat!"
"Ahh..I'll keep this short and sweet. The food is decent but the customer service is trash. The employees are rude...and they will up-charge every opportunity they get. Due to the location for those that live out that way (my cousins) the place is convenient...so I guess the solution is to get food and hope not to have to talk to anyone? lol. I don't like places like that due to my somewhat conversational personality, but it is what it is. I spent almost $70 and couldn't get a free eel sauce. Whack."
"I've been back several times since the negative dine-in experience, but have only ordered carryout. I place all my orders online and have the option to pay in advance or pay when I pick up my order. My order has always been ready by the promised time and the interaction with the staff has either been neutral or positive. We'll usually order their grilled calamari with teriyaki sauce, the Kimbe roll, and lo mein or fried rice. The lo mein isn't as good as other places but my girls are picky and that's one of their favorite dishes. The last time we ordered it, I'm pretty sure they gave us the wrong dish because the noodles were rice noodles, and the flavor profile was way off. Other than that, we've never had any issues with the order accuracy."
"I love the variety of menu options here! It's an added bonus that it is so close to my house! I love sushi and they have a great variety of rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to choose from. They also have Hibachi, Teriyaki, and Katsu (panko breaded & fried) entree options for those that don't like sushi. The decor is modern and beautiful and the restaurant is clean. I'm very happy with the staff here and have gotten to know them over time. This is very important to me because I have an allergy to both avocados and mangos. The staff have been very accommodating and I no longer fear cross contamination when ordering my food. The website is easy to navigate and useful for placing pickup orders."
"The sushi and sake bombs were delicious. Will visit again! The hibachi side of the restaurant was much faster paced but the other side of the restaurant was calm and nice. Just depends on the vibe you're going for."
