"This review is for customer service in fixing a first time visit fail and perfection food. Our first visit was rough as our first meals were so salty that we could not eat any of it-and we got it to go so we did not feel like going back. That same night I messaged the food truck in FB about our meals. I asked to have a do over another time and he said of course. Tonight we did a do over and it was some of the best fried fish ever and we just moved here from New Hampshire. The fish is so good you don't need tartar sauce. The onion rings were the perfect thickness of batter and the onions were sweet! The rosemary fries and actually fried with stems of fresh rosemary and whole garlic cloves. Please try a few fries with a chunk of garlic. The chicken batter is so crunchy and meat so tender. Boneless chicken thighs are the most genius choice for fried chicken -first time I ever have had fried chicken thighs. The view at Marina munch is romantic and beautiful in the evening."
"Absolutely the best BBQ in the Palm Coast Ormond area. Great food, excellent quality meats, staff was super nice. Prices are excellent for what you get. And definitely try the deserts!! Only drawback was old post of menu so added an updated one"

"One of, if not my favorite food truck in Jax/STA. Every time I come, they consistently deliver quality food and good customer service. They used to roam around there area but they are now parked at English Landing Marina aka Marina Munch amongst a handful of other food trucks. We have been many a time, but this visit (a Saturday), a guitarist/ singer, which was a nice addition. It was buzzing with people but it was still easy to find a seat. All of their dishes are rich and flavorful. They offer different meats and fish (lamb and wahoo for example). Give this a try - you won't be disappointed."
"Y'all. The Happy Grilled Cheese is a BLESSING. I was emotionally moved when I took my first bite of this sandwich, it tasted that good. I don't have words to describe how good it was, you just need to go try it. Now! The atmosphere is lovely, everyone is greeted warmly and you can tell there are numerous regulars. Warm, inviting, DELICIOUS and speedy service even as they got busier and busier are the top ways I'd describe my experience and observations. Also, I'm so grateful when businesses take the time to keep something simple like gluten free bread around because it's the difference in my being able to eat there or not. I usually order the Uncle Vinny's Melt on GF bread with a dip size tomato soup and garlic Parmesan fries. I also tried one of the specials, the spinach artichoke melt. It was equally amazing.A few notes on gluten free: there is risk of cross contamination, check about the soup to see if it was made with a roux that day or not and I think the fryer is shared. Those more sensitive than me may want to exercise more caution."
"I come here so often it never even occurred to me I should write a review, and that is crazy because Talkin' Tacos is easily my favorite taco spot in Jacksonville. The food is amazing and always SO consistent. We have never been disappointed and we come here a LOT. I like to mix and match the tacos with my current preferred combination being the Caribbean Carne, the Bang Bang Shrimp, and the Birria. All are outstanding and it's impossible to rank them, I'm just glad they give you the option to pick 3. On cold days the birria grilled cheese and tomato soup are next level comfort foods. For starters you can't go wrong with the guacamole or the Street Corn in a Cup (crushed Takis on top?! Yes, please!!). The churros are to die for- cookies and cream are our personal favorites- and the tajin and chamoy gummies are a delicious and unique treat! Service here is outstanding. Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and prompt! We never find ourselves waiting long for food. You order from a kiosk, which is super convenient for those of us frequent fliers who know exactly what we want, and there is always someone nearby to help newcomers or the tech averse crowd. The restaurant itself has a great vibe. The neon and black look awesome together and the signs are great photo backdrops! The patio is beautiful and the perfect spot to enjoy your meal, especially when DJ Gonzo Style is out there dropping beats! I can't recommend this place enough and hope you'll love it as much as I do!"
"I have been trying to get over to visit the Slider Rider food truck for months and today, I finally succeeded! Tucked back on the right side of Zett's Road, it is in plain view with all of the cute designs. The young woman who waited on me, couldn't have been nicer. She had a warm smile and was happy to accommodate any requests. The food is made to order, so it is hot and fresh when served. My favorite item menu was the fries, yes, I said the fries. They are crisp, hot, fresh and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. They were bursting out of the container, so you could easily split an order with a friend. But, fellow Yelper's there is a dipping sauce, that is out of this world. Definitely, cosmic in taste and I couldn't stop dipping. I even dipped my hamburger in some. Next time, I am ordering a quart of their secret sauce. It is delicious! Now, to the burgers. First, you can't help but admire the cute brand logo design on their hamburger rolls. It is the cutest. I ordered the Saturn burger and the Mercury burger. Both burgers have cheese, lettuce, and 2 meat patties. The Mercury burger has an American cheese and a thin crispy onion topping. I actually liked this one best out of the two. The Saturn burger has mushrooms, which I love, cheese and a special sauce. I don't know if it was the cheese or the sauce, but it reminded me of a blue cheese or Roquefort cheese and it had a strong flavor, that I didn't really enjoy. The burgers were well cooked. I think the addition of a slice of tomato or pickle, might help to break up the richness of the burgers. They definitely helped fix my burger cravings. Next time, I would like to try the grilled chicken sandwich and more fries. Those fries are what dreams are made of! Thanks again, to the lovely lady who waited on me, she was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! Thank you, Slider Rider Trucks."
"Great flavor. Tons of meat in each taco. Made with lots of love. The only complaint is they have inconsistent hours to what their Facebook lists as their hours. Tried going back for more and haven't been able to bc they have not been opened. Can't wait to get their tacos again. The asada tacos and chorizo tacos are my fav."
"Came here for the first time and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and the woman was so friendly and polite! We ordered and probably waited about 10 minutes for the food. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the EZ Salad and the chicken tagine panini with a side of fries. The salad was huge! It could have fed 2-3 people. The Moroccan vinaigrette was so good!!The chicken tagine panini was so flavorful!I would probably order one for just myself next time.Highly recommend this place!"
"Consistently good tacos from an attentive staff. Ordered and quickly received the order. Tacos are served with lime and hot sauce is available upon request."
"Woowzie wow!! This by far is one of my favorite food trucks. I don't get a chance to visit them much cause of location but when I do it's definitely a treat for my belly!! A few days ago I got a chance to do takeout. I did the blue chips, homemade chips with balsamic vinegar and crumbled blue cheese. I love the bit of salty flavor not overdone at all! Also got what I consider to be the award winner pulled pork planks, baked sweet potato slices topped with seasoned pulled pork covered in cream, scallions, and gorgonzola cheese, absolutely to die for! Never a let down this lunch was delish!"
"Great customer service, wait time is reasonable and the food is amazing. Moving here from San Diego has h made wanting Mexican food nearly impossible. Decided to give this place a go and was very pleased with the order. Ordered a few tacos and a quesadilla. Very pleased with our food and service! Can't wait to come back"
"Y'all...Tonight I switched it up and got beef shawarma instead of chicken. And extra toum and pickles, my new go to. I rarely eat red meat... yet my serotonin levels were still doing their thing. The sorcery...they marinate their beef in the same (if not similar) spices as their chicken. I still prefer the chicken because I'm not big on red meat but I'm down for getting it again for sure."

Fresh and local ingredients are used to make all their yummy dishes. The fish and chips were great. 2 pieces of Cod and a good portion of fries. The fried garlic cloves are yummy but not the pieces of rosemary. The burger was large and delicious. They are very pricey though. 2 burgers with fries and fish and chips were almost $60!

Oh wow! We saw their sign on the road going from Orlando to Jacksonville Beach. We said why not stop for something different. They did not disappoint! The barbecue and sides were so awesome, we forgot to take pictures but here is the aftermath ! What was even better is their sauces. Would definitely return.

Best food truck! We used Funkadelic for our wedding and it was such a hit! The truck is super cool - if you're looking for a unique addition to your wedding or event, the truck is an awesome touch. Communication - 10/10. They were beyond helpful throughout the entire process. Food is delicious!! I can't say enough good things!!!

I loved this place! It was a very well priced lunch option in jax! I got the mac n cheese grilled cheese with their jalapeno loaded fries! They also have house made sauces that were delicious -- we tried the ranch. The service was fast and we came not during lunch hour so unsure how busy it gets during peak hours. The place was very cute and bright as well!

Located in a strip mall and beside indoor seating, has an outside patio space that shares with Southern Swells Brewery. There is touch screen for ordering but the staff was also super friendly and very willing to help. Had the queso and chips. Very good. The chips had a good flavor and were slightly warm. Not stale tasting or too thick or too thin and salty. Queso wasn't spicy either. So we got the Caribbean tacos. It's a crispy tortilla bottom with steak, shaved thin and sliced plantains and an avocado creme with cilantro. Flavors were great I really enjoyed it. Especially to have an option that isn't always onions and peppers. Highly recommend.

Wonderful food truck! The cashier was patient and calm, willing to answer any questions or even make some suggestions. Also, they brought the food out to us where there were small picnic tables to eat at right then and there. I got the Mercury combo and it was honestly the best burger/slider I've had in the DMV. Definitely cannot say enough about the whole combo. The ingredients were fresh and it definitely had different textures. Each bite was flavorful and explosive. The fries were seasoned well and complimented the burger perfectly. Cannot wait to visit again and order 2 next time.

Found this place after googling Mediterranean food. We met up with some foodie friends. The place is small. Located in a strip mall. BUT don't let that fool ya. We kinda just made ourselves at home and ordered a handful of appetizers first (normally you order at counter, sit, they bring food out), but they kept a running tab for us. To start we got the falafel, carrots infused with garlic and cilantro, hummus, olives, and eggplant. All came with warm pita slices. The hummus was my FAV! It was delicious. The falafel was a close second. Then we all got wraps including the chicken shawarma, beef & lamb shawarma, and kefta wrap. They were all delicious. One in our party got the lamb and saffron rice. The rice was flavorful as well. We will def be back! Thanks for letting us do our thing! Service was great, they were very kind.

"This is a food truck behind the Bog Brewing Co. Queen Bee loves tacos, so this was a no brainer. She opted for two chicken and one pork taco. I opted for three campechano tacos (steak and chorizo together). Both sets of three come with chips and salsa; we also ordered street corn. They even gave us a pager to let us know when chow's ready.Once it was: woo!!! Them tacos were fantastic! Queen Bee said they're the best she's had since she left San Diego over 20 years ago! We both half gobbled down one another's plates before realizing we got 'em mixed up! Street corn not so successful. Corn was boiled, not roasted. It was covered under such a pile of slop I needed at least two napkins for every bite. Flavorful, but too much of a train wreck in my opinion. I'd certainly return for tacos or try their other things, e.g. burritos. Keep the corn however!"
"Today, this blue food truck is parked on Beach Blvd just east of Saint John's Bluff and west of 295. We stopped on a Sunday afternoon and got 3 fried rice options and were given a buzzer to wait in our car until the food is ready. The two guys running the truck were welcoming and happy to see us. We must have come at a good time as a line of 3-4 other people formed behind us within a couple minutes. My kids loved the sour green apple lemonade which has an electric bright color and pucker that is unlike any other drink I've ever had. Hubs got the chicken teriyaki and I got the cheese burger fried rice which both came with a large portion in a styrofoam container - both of us had enough for 2-3 meals, easily! I think the base rice was the same for both of our options, and it was seasoned well and had a great texture, though I could have used a little more crispy edges on mine tbh. The value for the portion size is excellent, though I wish the base rice was not the same for all the dishes."
"Fabulous jerk chicken wings!!Melted in my mouth and off the bone delicious. I will being going back for more. Super Sides Mac and cheese and potato salad is my favorite!"
"Delicious jerk shrimp with grits and eggs. I thought I posted the picture but it's been erased"
"The food coming out of this tiny trailer is amazing! My daughter and I got the swamp fries, the poutine fries and the Vegan Cowboy BBQ sandwich - next time I will get pictures. The fries were amazing - my favorite was the swamp fries, just enough kick and the "béchamel" put any non-vegan béchamel to shame! My daughter devoured the BBQ sandwich and I didn't even get a bite :( We also split a mint, watermelon tea that we fought over - next time I will get my own! We got there right as he opened, thank goodness because the line started forming behind us right away.Overall, one of the best vegan places I have been, I don't think you will be disappointed!"
"Finally got to stop by and get some.I've been wanting to come here since I read a glowing review of their brisket a year or so ago, just a bit rough to make the (almost an hour) drive since they are only open on Wednesdays 11am-2pm.Is it worth the drive/effort? YESIs it best to get there at/close to opening time? YES!John R & I got there at 11:05 and there was a line already. They sell out of most items quickly and the wait line can get long. The 2-person team who runs it is friendly and provides quick service.Their Smoked Brisket is the best one I've had in Florida and better than a lot of the barbecue spots I've visited in my travels including Texas.Having been to Lewis Barbecue in Charleston SC recently, same flavor profile and almost identical in tenderness & meat quality. There are no dining area setup so pick a spot to enjoy the meal somewhere else.If you love smoked brisket, bookmark this spot and go visit when you can, you won't be disappointed*.*if you get there late, you will definitely be very disappointed :)"
"The ribs are wonderful and very well seasoned and the sides compliment well I've been a 3 year customer"
"If the local Hondurans love it there is a high probability it's good. This was one of the main reasons for stopping by Tipicos. They seem to have a solid following in the area. Besides, I just had to try another culture's take on Tacos. I had the chicken Tacos and I enjoyed them. There were lots of great flavors from the pickled onions peppers and cheese. The chicken was wrapped in the tortillas and covered in all the toppings. Give them a try if you're in the mood for something a little different from your regular tacos."
"10/10 highly recommend. This is a small store and restaurant with only four tables. It is soooo good. True authentic lumpia. Highly recommend the pork adobo and the pancit. The lady was so nice and helpful. The space is cluttered but clean."
"Food truck night at our community, I was am to order our dinner through the Food Truck Pub app and select our time for pick up. Staff is friendly and food was ready on time for my scheduled picked up time. We ordered La Prima fries, chips and guacamole, (3)carne tacos, and (2)carnitas tacos; order was a little over $35 a little pricey for Mexican food. The guacamole was my favorite, very fresh and came with plenty of chips. My daughter's fries were cold, this was a bit disappointing but she said they were still good. The beans were a little salty and carnitas tacos needed salsa for a bit more flavor in my opinion. Definitely worth a visit!"
"Try the local with sausage. Outstanding! The fish taco is also delicious. Friendly service and hot, fresh food."
"We go here when we can. My work schedule doesn't allow a visit that often anymore because they are closed on My day off, Mondays. They seem to remember us when we go there, not on a first name basis but they know we love their salsa. I'm guessing homemade because the heat ranges every time we go. I appreciate their green salsa the best, I like less spice than their red salsa gives. I have had everything from the normal plates like a taco salad, to trying most of the tacos which basically can use any of the meats they serve (shrimp, carnitas, pork) and their tamales which they have chicken and pork, the pork is more delicious to me. They also have burritos and stews which I have not tried but they look amazing, Floridas hot temperatures haven't allowed me to order that yet. I do love their tortas (sandwiches) and I'm not one for eating jalapeños but theirs are I am guessing pickled and are great especially on the sandwich. With my sweet tooth though their freshly fried churros which they have 3 flavors, they are my absolute favorite. They are warm and soft and taste like heaven in my mouth!! I will say if they are busy you will have a wait as it just only 2-3 of them working and they get slammed occasionally. I also always eat there because it's always better fresh than taken home. They are also off the beaten path farther down Normandy blvd at the corner of Hammond. I think worth a try though."
"This place is the real deal! I came one night and ordered two carne asada tacos and one pollo taco. The guy taking my order was really nice. My car smelled so good the whole way home. The food was amazing. Full of flavor, juicy, taco tortillas were just right. Sadly they were out of tamales. They also don't serve horchata which I think would have set the meal off perfectly.I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. If nothing else, the tacos alone will keep me coming back."
"Pretty nice spot, very central, with good food and good prices. I stopped by after a beer run to the local breweries, and this place has a well earned 4 star rating because of that. I got a 3 taco meal, picked chorizo, carnitas, al pastor, with salad and sauces (not sure if cheese was thrown in there), as well as some juicy limes, green and red sauce. Pretty good, can't complain type situation for me, not traditional but good. Wouldn't mind stopping by again.Big plus: open late."
"The food was better tasting an average. The quantity were better than average. One thing that kind of left me with a bad taste in my mouth was the socializing from the man taking my order. He asked me if I was single with other information requests that made me uncomfortable, leading to my silence and his "you heard what I said..." in Spanish (perhaps because I'm Latina and bilingual, but still...) so I don't know that I would be back, which is a shame because food is pretty good."
"We visited St. Agustine and was really craving for some Filipino food at the end of our trip and we found this hidden gem. The owner and staff are super friendly. We ordered pancit, its a stir fry noodles with some vegestables and meat and its different because the meat is grilled with some lumpia or Filipino spring rolls. It taste delicious! We also got some pork bbq with rice, its perfectly cook. The bbq was not too salty and not too sweet and its perfect for white rice. Lastly we got some sisig. Sisig is one of my favorite Filipino dish and this place has their own style of cooking it. Its crispy and flavorful."
"i was cruising around the streets of St A today and saw a brightly colored food truck/trailer. Tropi Cali truck was the new place I see. When I pulled up I was a little bit confused. I looked at the truck and I have seen a lot of trucks. Then I look over to the same logo and paint on a building. I looked truck one way building the other. I walked up to the truck and Sam a cute little thing says hey first time ha? Yep can you tell and I looked back at the building. There were a couple of guys enjoying their food and they told everyone that I was in for a treat. I had to ask Sam what up over there? She quickly told me that they have indoor seating and are soon expanding to work out of the building. Now this is a first to me. Now I have heard of truck owners moving into a brick n mortar but never a truck parking in the same lot as their brick n mortar. Now we got to talking and I quickly learned that they have been open for 8-9 months now. They are kind of out of the way but have a very loyal local following. Cool that is always a good thing. Ok small talk over let's go into the food. After learning that I was a newby she told me you have to try the jerk chicken riblets. When she handed it to me I knew right off the bat what it was. The drum section of a chicken wing. But it was full of flavor and super tender. They also had some jerk sauce, shredded coconut, and green onions on top. Really good is the first words that came to mind. Remember we call ourselves Jamamerican having traveled there a bunch of times. I ,over onto the taco side not being hungry enough for a burrito cause I knew that they would be huge. I decided on two tacos. One of shrimp and the other of beef. Both with the works which is cabbage, cilantro, and fresh made salsa. They also came with some chips. I quickly dug into these things soon as a figured out how to get it into my mouth. I will say that they are huge and you better be hungry when you order here. The beef was really good tender and juicy and mixed well with all of the fixing that went a long with them. The shrimp taco was just as big and just as tasty. The shrimp were cooked well and had a bit of heat to them also. I will say that Rick (owner) Sam and Mike are really good folks that just want to serve you some awesome food. So when in St A head a little farther north and they will be on your right. Do it I said so."
"Wings were ON POINT! Tender, cooked throughly, and great flavor! And the wings were bigger than most places! Most definitely worth $12! My husband and I shared the 10 piece lemon pepper flavor with the fries!!"
"Loved this place. I ordered the fried grouper poboy with the cajun corn and oh boy was the whole meal flavorful. The fish was drizzled in its signature sauce with extra on the side to dip the cajun corn in. The lady was friendly, service was quick, and the food was reasonably priced and substantial."
"I came by Chef Love's place today. I ordered twenty wings with "Chef Love" famous sauce on the side. I also ordered fries and macaroni and cheese. Everything was so delicious. I shared the meal. We both were in awe. I usually get her shrimp & grits but opted to try the wings this time and I sure am glad I did. Best wings and fries anywhere! Remember, don't block the driveway and you can wait in your car until your beeper calls you-when your meal is ready. Thanks Chef Love for doing a fantastic job and for Representing Arlington like a Champ!"
"I had a chance to try this food truck when they were in our neighborhood. We ended up ordering the 2 meat platter (the chopped brisket & pork) with a side of green beans & hubby got the 4 rib bones. I couldn't wait to get home to try it. I was pleasantly surprised to see the nice presentation in the to go box. They placed a piece of wax paper on top of the meal so the barbecue sauce was not all over the top of the lid when you opened it. It definitely made the meal even more appealing! Presentation is everything.I shared the 2 meat platter with my daughter and we both loved it! The meat was sooo tender along with a smoky flavor. The bonus was the savory barbecue sauce on top! Everything complimented well together! I would definitely order from this food truck again and recommend anyone to try them out if you want some finger lickin good barbecue!"
"I finally had the pleasure to meet the good folks at Tasty Dog. They are both ex Navy and make quite the team. She tells him what she wants and he make it for her. Not really but he does most of the cooking but I did see her jump in there and fix a couple of dogs. I ate the Hot Italian and it was pretty darn good. It's a local company Azar's Sausages right over there on Union Street. Now they have up to 25 toppings you can get on your dog but I go with the mustard that they make too. That's what I get if I want to taste the dog/sausage. Now this one is good but I could think of a few more ways to try the next couple."
"Visited Burger Bus +, what a great spot. Happy vibe. These guys certainly have a magnificent menu too. The people who work there are extremely sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend Burger Bus +."
