"Super-cool little donut shop/coffee house located steps away from the coquina sand of Flagler Beach, Florida!Swillerbees is a MUST try place if you are here - their custom-crafted donuts are out of this world! The donut selection varies each day - you just never know what you'll find when you walk in the door! The ambiance is quaint, with limited seating inside and out. Service is fantastic - you will not be disappointed!"
"This place is my jam! I work just down the road, and I frequently come here! The staff is great very friendly. As a regular, they are learning my name and I theirs. This is a locally owned company with their own local roastery. They have a couple of locations, and this is easily one of my favorites. There is good parking and great seating, both indoor and outdoor. The outdoor can be a little loud because of traffic nearby based on time of day. I don't mind it. They had outlets near all of the table so you can charge your devices. The chairs and tables are even comfortable enough for a long writing session! Much of my doctoral proposal was written here!If you are still reading, I will hook you up! If you order a drip coffee it is $2.50. They always have a single origin roast. I love their Guatemalan and Honduran coffees. If you ask for the coffee in a mug because you plan to sit, it's $1.00! You can't even do that at McDonalds, and this is much better coffee! So stop by with some friends and treat yourself to a $1.00 single origin drip coffee!"
The star of this milk tea is definitely coconut, but the roasted oolong tea definitely compliments it well.Available iced in 24 oz only.

"I believe a fitting description would be "The Taj Mahal of coffee shops." The first time I came here, I had to make sure I was in the right place, because no joke....I thought I walked into a posh, grandiose hotel lobby. Now don't get me wrong, this is by no means a "snob shop." This is a well-known, established business in the heart of Avondale. I could spend a good amount of time here parked on a comfy couch doing some people watching, daydreaming about winning the lottery, or stuffing my face. Speaking of which....The Noms: From breakfast to brunch on over to lunch....they've got you covered. Come hungry. Those of you that are able to walk right past the mouthwatering desserts and pastries and order a salad....I applaud your restraint. Here are just 2 of my faves, and I have many....The Eggnog Bourbon Cake: I wait EVERY YEAR for the holidays to come around so I can get my greedy little hands on this cake. I don't even bother waiting for this to come to room temp (it's served chilled), I just dive right in, last meal on earth style. The Chocolate Twist: Braided pastry with mini chocolate chips. Flaky on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. Perfect with a cold glass of milk or a toasty hot chocolate. I got 2 on my last visit and ate them both as if they were calorie-free. Aside from the appetizing pastries, of course, there's a hearty assortment of coffee drinks, wines, gourmet sandwiches, healthier-fare options, Tartines, and even Steak Frittes. Southern Grounds Coffee Shop is indeed a sight to behold, and an experience to savor. So gather up your laptop or the besties and go show this awesome local business some love! Shoutout to the wonderful staff who are always so friendly and patient as I peruse the goodies of the day!Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT your local eats and businesses, and as always...SYOY!"
"Service is top notch. We made reservations and requested the second floor but forgot to ask to sit outside. No problem! The hostess quickly showed us a spectacular table outside. Danielle was our server and admitted that this was the best place she ever worked! Wow! All this and we hadn't even ordered yet! We started with a warm crusty baguette (with a glass of wine) I had the scallops on top of polenta. Scallops had just enough of a crisp topping to them. Polenta was creamy and light. My husband got the seared tuna. Also very good. We finished the dinner by splitting the bread pudding. That was worth every calorie and gram of fat! Overall a great experience!"
"Stumbled upon this little coffee shop recently. Easy to miss as it's built inside of an old movie theater. The fall special the McShay Shay was incredible. Very friendly barista who was more than helpful. Will certainly come here again!"
"Decided to check this place out for coffee on a Saturday morning with a group of 6. We were immediately greeted warmly and shown menus plus the overflowing baked goods display. Cue instant drools and "oooo!"s all around! We placed orders for drinks, sandwiches and pastries, which they gladly warmed up for us, and grabbed a table to get out of the way. Everything came out quickly (as quick as you can when you're pulling espresso for 6 different drinks!) and we tucked in.The good: Biggest rave was the caramel frappe (not too sweet with a great balance of espresso) and iced lattes. The taste was bold without being bitter or burnt, something we all appreciated. The cinnamon rolls were fresh, soft and gooey with just the right amount of icing, not a crumb left behind. As we ordered more caramel frappes to go (don't judge), we learned how much they work with the community. Love supporting local businesses, especially those that give back to their community. Highly recommend! Solid chance we will go back for coffee again tomorrow."
"A coffee shop and pharmacy as one operation? Beam me up Scotty! Or better yet, what in the world did Daily Dose put in my white chocolate latte to make me like Monin syrup? I came in this shop feeling ok but left extremely happy! Could it have been some form of contribution from the Medtown Pharmacy on the other side of the shop? I'm just kidding but it was great to find a new coffee shop stop other than my usual Brass Tacks and Elliano's (both of which are outstanding). And the tiramisu we had with our lattes was fab too! I have to say I liked Daily Dose Craft Bar immediately upon walking in as a fabulous barista, Melia, gave me the most enthusiastic greeting I've ever had in a coffee outlet. We got to talking about their menu and I was stuck between white and dark chocolate lattes when I discovered they used Monin syrups in their lattes at Daily Dose. That was kind of a downer and Monin has not been my fave among the latte syrups, though I can tolerate it. But I gave it another try by ordering a white chocolate latte. Well the magic formula that got me loving this latte even with Monin in it was 16 oz latte with 3 pumps of syrup - and bingo! All my fears of Monin syrup were gone! Yes, it was very good and worth every cent - and the tiramisu, along with the other pastries are awesome here. I have to thank Melia for the excellent service and interest in what I had to say about other coffee shops I've been to in other parts of the country. It's good to have an open set of ears at times that wants to learn and find ways to improve their product. As far as Daily Dose and Medtown Pharmacy being under one banner and space, yes, get used to the two being linked inside the second you walk in. I wondered if this could work and how, but it really does. People do get their medications here and people come in and get coffee - some do both. The seating types are varied - wooden tables, couches and other upholstered chairs are available. I really came to like this coffee shop! Well, it was truly something new in the truest sense! And I left wondering why I was so happy when I left - well again - there is a pharmacy on the other side of the shop! Go visit here - it's worth it and I'm excited there will soon be a Yelp event here - this shop needs more attention!Recommend: VERY HIGH!"
"We live right around the corner and I'm soo happy to have a place like this in the neighborhood. They have freshly made items, source all their ingredients (or almost everything) locally, and have the best bread (rosemary garlic is my favorite) and baked goods (I love the morning buns). I always get the lemonade (which is made from scratch) and the lavender latte. The employees are always really patient with my multiple alterations, which I really appreciate! There's indoor and outdoor seating, but we always sit outside. Bonus: you can take your dog there to sit outside, and they can even go inside with you while you order as long as they don't go to the indoor dining room."
"Very friendly staff and the breakfast was good with fast service. If you're in the area I would recommend this place for breakfast."
"Stay far away from this store! I ordered a birthday cake, and it was my first order from this bakery. I only eat bakery items on special occasions, as I am a diabetic. This cake was for my niece's 30th birthday party. We picked up the cake on May 27th, 2024, and paid $50.00. I thought the price was high for a plain vanilla cake with buttercream icing and some strawberries on top, but figured it would be worth it from a bakery. But when we cut the cake at her party, it was truly awful! The cake was so dry and actually had a cornbread texture! And the icing was like paste and tasted terrible! Frankly, it ruined her party as no one could eat it. So, a few weeks later, I posted a review on Google with 2 stars and wrote that the cake was very pretty, but the taste did not match the appearance. The owner replied back, stating they wanted to make it right and for me to stop by and see Mark. I called and left a message on their cake order line that I would be in on Thursday, the 20th. So, on that day, I stopped by, and boy, was that a mistake! I introduced myself to Mark. He said yes, he remembered the review, and he did not get my message that I was coming. I said, "Is this a good time?" He then proceeded to look up a picture of the cake on his phone and said "oh you only paid 50.00 for this cake? I paid 20.00 alone in strawberries!" I was taken aback and said well that is what yall charged me and he said it should have been 100.00! I then nicely described what was wrong with the cake and how it ruined the party, and he says Well you want another cake? And i said no why would I want another bad cake, and that was for a birthday anyway, and I was diabetic, and he continued to argue with me and finally I said why did you say that you wanted to make this right and asked me to come in when you obviously don't want to? And he CONTINUED to argue, doubting my word, asking why i didnt try anything in the bakery before i ordered, asking why I took so long to post the review (it was from 5/27th. My husband was in the hospital and then I was ill so I posted the review on 6/15th, which was not even a month later), AND he continued to.complain about my paying "only" 50.00! Finally I said look I am not going to argue with you, I am the customer! You obviously are not willing to make this right, so I am leaving! He says well I offered you a coupon and.I said yes, and I told you I couldn't eat anything here, and also, I do not trust the quality. And he says well what do you want and I said I would accept a partial refund (25.00), and then he REALLY blew up and yelled, "You underpaid by 50.00 already! It should have been 100.00!" With that, I walked out. Please stay FAR away from this store and this angry, belligerent owner! He is also very dismissive and demeaning towards women!"
"Amazing food!! Nicole was our server and she was extremely attentive, the restaurant was clean. We truly enjoyed its ambiance!"
"Morning stop otw to the beach. The welcoming vibe and Christian spirit was just what our family needed on our trip today. The doughnuts: apple pie, coconut, glazed and blueberry. The blueberry and coconut had great moisture and flavor, 0 out of 10. The apple pie had delicious filling, but the doughnut itself could have been more moist, surprisingly. The glaze doughnut was a little dense and could use more glaze. We also purchased eggs and bacon, 2 iced coffees and 1 hot coffee. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon just a little salty, but combined with the eggs in each bite they complimented each other well. All coffees were on point!! We'll definitely return and try more soon!"

The cutest shop ever! Lots of study and work place! All forms of seating! The food is amazing and they have all you could think of, I prefer the lox bagel or the grit bowl! Even got it to go today, it was great! They are super quick despite being busy 24/7! 7 am is the prime time! They offer online orders if you're in a rush! I highly recommend! This is also the best location if you're trying to decide which shop to go to!

Debbie found this place to have our anniversary dinner. Great venue where the pizza place used to be. Really nice inside. We had reservations and requested a table outside and that is where we were seated. View of the old gate was so niceLooking over the menu there were so many great sounding dishes. Tried to to get too much since we were so hungry so we enjoyed what we did order. We started with a couple of soups. A cup of mushroom and French onion. The Mushroom soup was so good. Full of mushrooms and a great broth. Very good. This was amazing. The Onion soup was missing something. Didn't have the depth for f flavor I expect in a onion soup but was still pretty good. For our main we got the filet. OMG. It has been a very long time since I have had a steak cooked that good. The cliché "it cut like butter" was invented for this steak. delicious. The asparagus was cooked perfect al dente as well. Surprising given how big it was! We had a few glasses of wine with each course from there slection which was pretty good. Service was great and we did not wait long at all for anything. Highly recommended !!

The coffee shop is located inside the Atlantic Theater which is now a church, so they share the building. The place is really cozy, and you feel the presence of the church inside as they have a peace and prayer room, a donation corner, and a restroom with some clothing you can take but you are encouraged to leave a few items too. They have pastries which came from another coffee shop, but we are here for the coffee. My husband ordered his usual hot latte and I got their Cold Brew with foam. Both were really good and the owner makes great latte art! They also offer free movie nights every Thursday! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and looking forward to coming back!

Lavender Vanilla Latte! Bold espresso flavor, creamy oat milk with a nice hint of lavender married into the vanilla flavor. I think their coffee is even better than the last time I remember it! I love supporting this veteran owned business. The people are always friendly and it's a nice spot to get some work done and be productive

I have been to Daily Dose twice and had a great experience both times. The menu can be a bit intimidating since there are so many options and their drinks are so customizeable. I went with the toasted coconut on my first visit since it was a special of the day. It was delicious, but way too sweet for me. This time I asked for it less sweet and the barista told me I could do 25% or 50% sweet. I got the 25% sweet and it was perfect. They seal the drinks and put them in a custom bag so the cups don't fall over.I like checking out the daily menu that includes the barista's recommendations. Some of the flavors are so unique. Between 2 and 4 they have happy hour! Buy one drink, get one half off. There is a parking lot in front of the shop which is shared with a pharmacy. It is a quiet place to work with good wifi too. This is one of my favorite boba spots in Jax!

If "locally sourced food" is your love language, then Community Loaves is your soulmate. I stopped by for a quick bite and left plotting how to rearrange my life so I can have breakfast here every morning! For food, I had the everything croissant, which came with a surprise twist: chive cream cheese. It was an extremely pleasant surprise. I paired that little morsel with an iced dirty chai. Not overly sweet, but flavorful enough to make you question why you'd ever settle for less. The outdoor seating was so cute! It's the kind of place where your coffee just tastes better because the vibes are immaculate. And the staff? Absolutely wonderful--so friendly!Community Loaves gets five stars, not because I'm generous, but because they earned every single one. Highly recommend swinging by--but be warned, you might leave obsessed.

"I've never been to a dog park like this they have staff there to assist with keeping dogs from humping each other or causing fights or getting too rough. You can also buy beer coffee and snacks. I wish there was more dog park/bars like this everywhere else. Unfortunately, I'm only here temporarily, but this is just perfect for me and my pup. I also like the fact that all dogs must be vaccinated and they check their records before allowing them membership. Highly recommend this place and the staff is super nice."
"Came for breakfast today with my sister and everything was delicious! We got the m.t.d. , squawk on the street, and the dip duo! Best queso ever and the salsas from the salsa bar were so fresh and tasty :)Fun flipping sign that changes every few minutes while you eat with pictures or song trivia!Amanda checking in on us and going above and beyond to make sure we loved our food was the best part of our visit :)"
"Came in on our way north in our road trip. Place is super cute with vintage decor etc. The owner took care of us and we were greeted with a smile. We got the dirty chai and it was on point with taste and right amount of espresso like I love. Croissant sandwiches to go were amazing. Thank you."
"I have passed by this coffee shop so many times in a hurry to make it to the next appointment or work related thing. Leap year day, I stopped in! I brought my work laptop with me to stay for a little while, sip, eat, and work. Logging into the wifi here was very easy, and I picked a spot right by the window to work (nice views and lighting) I ordered a small London Fog tea which came with loose leaf tea (not a tea bag) steeped into my cute mug - this really makes all the difference. Thank you sippers for going the extra mile and choosing loose leaf tea. I also was able to substitute the whole milk for oat milk which was very nice. Let me get to this açaí bowl. I've eaten in the next plaza over at Juice Tap; had their açaí bowl over there, & liked it. Since this is a coffee shop first, I wasn't expecting the açaí bowl to be as superb as it really was (at only 8-9 dollars at that too) It was late lunch and I needed something in my tummy. The blend of açaí they make, the heart of what's in the bowl underneath all of the pretty toppings, was So good! Fresh! I had chunks in it (small fruit chunks) from it being freshly blended. The mixture was So creamy too but not overly creamy. They also drizzle the top with some honey which is my favorite part! I was allowed to substitute the blueberry toppings for extra strawberries instead and that really made my day. The fact that I was able to order an açaí bowl under ten bucks - wow! Super grateful for the very reasonable pricing here. But to then be blown away with the quality of this price friendly açaí bowl too - I was kicking myself for not stopping in here sooner, especially since I lived in a nearby apartment complex for 2 years right down the street. Sippers is now up there in my top 5 coffee shops of Jax to visit to either work, eat, sip, or grab something to go. Yall the music - I know that's a random thing to notice but since I was working in here for a couple of hours yesterday, lol, I noticed. First I think it was Christian music; after a couple songs, the main Star Wars theme song came on, followed by Michael buble, and then some smooth jazz or classical music. I was so entertained by the mix up. Star Wars had me cracking up though bc if you have ever listened to the whole thing, that one song goes on and on for an awkwardly long time - I was here for it. This shop stays steady! Goes to show just how many love it. I'm very happy to see this place thrive in such a good location too! The service here was very hospitable. You could tell I was a newbie and no one seemed to get annoyed with my questions on what to order. Parking can be kindive tricky since it's in a small strip with other businesses, but it's not too bad. I waited maybe all of 30 seconds for a customer to pull out of a spot so I could pull in and use theirs. I would absolutely come back and will be!"
"Really an amazing locally owned business. The aroma crepe is amazing, but my favorite is the banella (banana Nutella) crepe. The portions are very generous! The restaurant has always been spotless when I go, and the chairs are comfortable with friends (even though Fox News is always playing on the two TV screens). The service after ordering can be a little slow, but the food and drinks are made to order which makes up for it."
"Wow! Now I have to say I would not consider these donuts. To me the texture is more cake. But non the less VERY tasty! We are new to the area and I had to try them out. I will definitely bring family visiting back here."
"Glad the put a location on Neptune beach ...the service was amazing the owner was nice as ever . The lunch special was amazing as well food hit my nose soon i opened the door the place was nice and clean the also had special juices which was a plus ...my new lunch spot .. they also have breakfast so definitely trying that"
"Went here on a LoLo from my sister Plenty of seating inside and outside. Gentleman behind the counter who waited on me was very nice and explained their menu. They offer a variety of coffees, lattes and drinks. They also have muffins, pastries and other breakfast items. Not inly a coffee bar but also a place to enjoy wine. The ambiance is nice and shares it location with Mayday Ice Cream. Nice spot to enjoy a beverage and also for morning gatherings and meet ups."
"BREW Five Points gets five stars. I absolutely loooove this coffee shop. Over our 2 day stay in Jacksonville, we came to BREW 3 times. With their coined slogan of "not bad", this spot is definitely not bad at all. It's so good, actually. Great even! We first came here looking for a quick morning pick-me-up and some brekkie. After a search on Yelp, we found out our airbnb was only a short 5 minute walk to get here. With the cooler weather, we had a great walk through Riverside park and to this coffee shop. It's situated in a small little area with Hawkers, fun shops, and the Sunray cinema. It was lively on a Saturday morning with what seemed to be a mix of regulars and newcomers. After looking through their menu, we decided on a some drinks and a kolache sandwich. Everything was so good! From my matcha to the the sandwich, I still dream about both. The kolache sandwich is your style of egg in between whatever kolache you choose. I did the cheese and sausage with a scrambled egg. The scrambled egg comes in a compact, fluffy cube. Perfection. On our other trips back, I always got the matcha and my partner tried their almost everything off their seasonal menu. He even added their toasted marshmallow. This will definitely be a go-to spot if we're ever back in Jax! Until then, I will cherish my BREW Five Points tote. (Yes, of course I got the tote.)"
"The restaurant decor is so beautiful. I don't even care for anything in the realm of pink but I love the pink chairs with the green! The layout is open and relaxing. I order a hot white chocolate mocha, blueberry muffin and a breakfast burrito it was delicious! I came an hour after they opened and service was fast."
"Food was good and fresh. The service was quick and very polite, and I enjoyed my croissant sandwich on the outdoor dining patio. Very clean and quiet. Menu is a bit pricy but overall enjoyable. Really want to try a smoothie on my next visit. Would recommend!"
"OMG! I finally made here. The store was immaculately clean, bright and colorful. Great signage inside and outside. I ordered three doughnuts to do a taste test. I have to watch my sugar intake, so just a bite from each for now. I was truly impressed. I look forward to future visits, since I work in the area now. Pros: listed above^Cons: parking is shared, but there is parking in the side and back. Recommend? Triple yes!"
"Great salads, soups, sandwiches, cakes and pies; super friendly staff /service and good prices; love the creamed spinach soup."
"Valentine's Day dinner tonight at Medure was truly exceptional! We dined with our friends visiting from CT, who always love coming here. The very expansive pre-fixed menu assured that everyone had the perfect choice for every course. Our server, Kat was wonderful, always popping in when needed, but never a feeling of being rushed. Among our table we had tenderloin tartare, lobster, burrata as appetizers. The pork belly 2nd course was so tender & delicious, very unique. I loved my sea bass and it was cooked perfectly, but I could not finish it all! Every course was very generous. But the desserts! Red velvet soufflé and chocolate trifle were lovely, but the mascarpone and vanilla mouse was a beautiful treat for Valentines Day. The Manager was so attentive, checking in to make sure we were well taken care of. IMO, Restaurant Medure is the best restaurant in North FL."
"My favorite coffee place of all time! I love that you can actually taste the different flavors between their drinks. I feel like some coffee places have special flavors that all end up tasting the same. The coffee is pretty sweet, but it's perfect for me. The coffee flavor is strong and not watered down by the milk.Staff is always friendly and quick. The ambiance is great, but many of their chairs are metal that make my butt cold. Their food is good too. I'm still dreaming of the sweet pretzel they took off the menu."
"Lovely Cafe that transports you straight into Italy! Same owners as the crepe place in the avenues! We started with a little of everything, a cornetto which is very similar to a croissant it was airy and buttery! Cappuccino was so silky and creamy! Then the focaccio sandwich was delicious! It was crunchy on the exterior bread but light on the inside, really enjoyed, can't wait to head to Italy for more options on this sandwich! Great taste of Italy here in jax"
"I was thrilled to learn about Breezy thanks to a holiday Yelp event back in December- but it took me forever to get my tooshie out to Breezy to actually enjoy a cup of coffee and treat! I did treat my son and we had a lovely morning sipping coffee outside at one of the tables and enjoying breakfast. I went with their house blend and had a little somethin-somethin added, day drinking! Yes, they offer spiked coffee. Eddie had an iced coffee, again- their house blend, which is delicious! He had a breakfast pita- bacon, egg and cheese which he inhaled and I nibbled on some freshly made coffee cake. The owner here is super sweet and the whole experience is just lovely. I need to make this part of my routine and get out here more often. Fresh baked goods and wonderful coffee is a no-brainer! Just go and enjoy!"
"How can you not give 5 stars to a place that is looking to help stray and injured cats? And on top of that, you can get a coffee or a lemonade as well. They have a small little gift shop too, where you can purchase cat toys, treats, etc. to help out too.Once you're inside, you can go into the "cat" room where there are toys of every size and shape for all the kitties. Plenty of places to sit down and play with the cats as well. Kudos to the owners for their commitment to helping these animals."
"This place is wonderful for quality and flavor!I asked for recommendations and one of the first ones was the strawberry milkshake, recommended because it is made with real strawberries. I decided to add Nutella because who doesn't love Nutella strawberries? This milkshake delivered on flavor and creaminess. It was so perfect. Add the fun atmosphere at Back to the Grind Downtown and this whole experience was a winner!"
"We love discovering new local coffee shops and Round Bird was such a nice find. WHO KNEW that Butter Pecan and Lavender went together so well?? I tried that latte because of them and now I'm obsessed. The inside is dope, really cool hanging lights and the kind of coffeeshop vibe you look for. There was a decent amount of people there at the time, but that didn't stop anything from getting us our lattes quick. It's a little far from us, otherwise we would be visiting much more often!"
"The SG line was super long, so I did a search for coffee shops. After a few wrong turns, I finally found Bodega coffee. Super friendly and fellow yogi chatted me up and made my coffee. I'll be back! Coffee was bold and tasty. No line. Reasonably priced. Try it out. Happy sipping!"
"I visited this coffee shop for the first time after a meeting at the nearby Jacksonville Arboretum. I am not usually on this side of town, but did a quick Yelp search to see what coffee shops nearby. I have had Vantage Point on my radar, but didn't know where it was. I have been to Rod's Crab Shack before (in the same shopping center), so I realized where I was once I parked. This coffee shop is conveniently located in a plaza with lots of parking. First impression walking in was the waft of air conditioning on a super hot day. They kept it very cool and comfortable inside. The head barista greeted me and told me about the menu. He was so sweet and genuinely loves his job. I ordered the specialty drink "The Meadow". It was an iced americano with honey and lavender cold foam. What a treat! This coffee is strong and I was instantly hooked. I bought a bag of beans on the way out and raved about my americano to my boyfriend later that day. The shop had Frank Sinatra playing and there were a few other people there meeting with friends and working on their laptops. I also had a blueberry muffin that they heated up for me. What a delicious treat!! I had such a great experience. The only con of this trip was the Mary Kay lady that came in and complimented my makeup, then proceeded to try to sell me skincare/makeup products. I repeatedly told her I wasn't interested, but she was persistent. I had to tell her I was working and didn't have time to talk. She left right after, so I'm not even sure if she was a customer or not. I feel like someone there should know about this solicitation. Otherwise, 5 star experience - can't wait to go back!"
"I love the Neptune beach southern grounds location. Although it gets busy on weekends, I can always find space to work on my projects. The food is absolutely delicious and there are many dietary options. I love Sogro coffee and sometimes even enjoy drinking it black to enjoy the bold flavor."
