"Met some friends here for breakfast and was duly impressed. Their name is a biscuit company but I tried the chicken and waffles and enjoyed it. It's an asiago bacon waffle with lots of flavor and came with hot and tasty fried chicken strips. It's a large portion and I added a side of hot and fresh grits. The dark roast coffee is good too and you can get your own refills so there's no waiting.Service is fast and friendly, you order at the counter, get your own drink, and grab your order when it's ready.I enjoyed my breakfast here and will be back when I'm in town."

"I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch with friends Sunday afternoon. It was my first time visiting Southern Grounds and the food did not disappoint!I got in line, ordered my food and grabed my number to take to the table. They had a self-service water station. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sauteed onions, mushrooms and bacon. Oh my, I don't think I've ever tasted a chicken sandwich so good! The seasoning was perfect, and the sauteed onions and mushrooms complimented the sandwich so well! For my side I chose the Mediterranean salad and I'm so glad I did. There was lots of indoor seating plus a large patio. The downside was parking. But that is the issue for every business in San Marco. There were a few parking spots right beside the building which were all taken. I ended up parking on the street about four blocks away. They did have another small gravel lot just across the railroad tracks. I learned there's another location in Neptune Beach closer to me. I will be checking out this location soon!"

Had the rise and shine breakfast and did the self serve coffee bar with a pretty good selection of regular or flavored coffee. I ordered my breakfast with English muffin. And it was grilled. Very good. Breakfast was very good and people that work there are very helpful. Just a bit different style of restaurant. Still worth going and possibly going back now that I know the routine."

"Never had an Arepa before visiting, but from now on this will be what I compare every other one to. Firstly, the inside of this business is so cute!! The interior has such a positive and uplifting feel. Smiles all around as soon as you walk in. You can just tell it's going to be good before you even order. I have come here three days in a row now just so I can try every one. Flavor is a 10, freshness is a 10 and services was a 10! There's nothing I can really say would be a con so far and I plan on visiting again next time I'm in town. The staff here is super helpful and the arepas are addictive!! If you haven't tried it, don't take my word for it. You'll see for yourself after first bite. I could swim in that green sauce!!"

"I have passed by this coffee shop so many times in a hurry to make it to the next appointment or work related thing. Leap year day, I stopped in! I brought my work laptop with me to stay for a little while, sip, eat, and work. Logging into the wifi here was very easy, and I picked a spot right by the window to work (nice views and lighting) I ordered a small London Fog tea which came with loose leaf tea (not a tea bag) steeped into my cute mug - this really makes all the difference. Thank you sippers for going the extra mile and choosing loose leaf tea. I also was able to substitute the whole milk for oat milk which was very nice. Let me get to this açaí bowl. I've eaten in the next plaza over at Juice Tap; had their açaí bowl over there, & liked it. Since this is a coffee shop first, I wasn't expecting the açaí bowl to be as superb as it really was (at only 8-9 dollars at that too) It was late lunch and I needed something in my tummy. The blend of açaí they make, the heart of what's in the bowl underneath all of the pretty toppings, was So good! Fresh! I had chunks in it (small fruit chunks) from it being freshly blended. The mixture was So creamy too but not overly creamy. They also drizzle the top with some honey which is my favorite part! I was allowed to substitute the blueberry toppings for extra strawberries instead and that really made my day. The fact that I was able to order an açaí bowl under ten bucks - wow! Super grateful for the very reasonable pricing here. But to then be blown away with the quality of this price friendly açaí bowl too - I was kicking myself for not stopping in here sooner, especially since I lived in a nearby apartment complex for 2 years right down the street. Sippers is now up there in my top 5 coffee shops of Jax to visit to either work, eat, sip, or grab something to go. Yall the music - I know that's a random thing to notice but since I was working in here for a couple of hours yesterday, lol, I noticed. First I think it was Christian music; after a couple songs, the main Star Wars theme song came on, followed by Michael buble, and then some smooth jazz or classical music. I was so entertained by the mix up. Star Wars had me cracking up though bc if you have ever listened to the whole thing, that one song goes on and on for an awkwardly long time - I was here for it. This shop stays steady! Goes to show just how many love it. I'm very happy to see this place thrive in such a good location too! The service here was very hospitable. You could tell I was a newbie and no one seemed to get annoyed with my questions on what to order. Parking can be kindive tricky since it's in a small strip with other businesses, but it's not too bad. I waited maybe all of 30 seconds for a customer to pull out of a spot so I could pull in and use theirs. I would absolutely come back and will be!"

"Valentine's Day dinner tonight at Medure was truly exceptional! We dined with our friends visiting from CT, who always love coming here. The very expansive pre-fixed menu assured that everyone had the perfect choice for every course. Our server, Kat was wonderful, always popping in when needed, but never a feeling of being rushed. Among our table we had tenderloin tartare, lobster, burrata as appetizers. The pork belly 2nd course was so tender & delicious, very unique. I loved my sea bass and it was cooked perfectly, but I could not finish it all! Every course was very generous. But the desserts! Red velvet soufflé and chocolate trifle were lovely, but the mascarpone and vanilla mouse was a beautiful treat for Valentines Day. The Manager was so attentive, checking in to make sure we were well taken care of. IMO, Restaurant Medure is the best restaurant in North FL."

I was greeted right when I went in. I noticed the conference room on my way back to use the restroom. It was bright and clean. I made my way back to the front and browsed the menu. I decided on an almond milk latte (hot) with a little bit of their seasonal rosemary sage syrup. I also ordered an avocado toast. I found a seat at the bar next to another friendly person working on a laptop. Everyone here was so nice! My latte came out quickly and was beautiful! I was so impressed with this coffee. My latte with the homemade syrup was delicious. The avocado toast was great too. It was bigger and more substantial that I expected, which was great. I will absolutely be back here soon. "Decided to check this place out for coffee on a Saturday morning with a group of 6. We were immediately greeted warmly and shown menus plus the overflowing baked goods display. Cue instant drools and "oooo!"s all around!We placed orders for drinks, sandwiches and pastries, which they gladly warmed up for us, and grabbed a table to get out of the way. Everything came out quickly (as quick as you can when you're pulling espresso for 6 different drinks!) and we tucked in.The good: Biggest rave was the caramel frappe (not too sweet with a great balance of espresso) and iced lattes. The taste was bold without being bitter or burnt, something we all appreciated. The cinnamon rolls were fresh, soft and gooey with just the right amount of icing, not a crumb left behind. I went with their house blend and had a little somethin-somethin added, day drinking! Yes, they offer spiked coffee. Eddie had an iced coffee, again- their house blend, which is delicious! He had a breakfast pita- bacon, egg and cheese which he inhaled and I nibbled on some freshly made coffee cake. The owner here is super sweet and the whole experience is just lovely. "I met a friend at Cup of Job for tea Sunday afternoon. What a cute and relaxed spot at the beach. I felt right at home inside. There was also outdoor seating on the side and in front and two rooms of indoor seating. There were a few games here and there, such as a mini chess board, for entertainment. The staff were friendly and are actually volunteers. Cup of Job has been open five years and this was my first time because I am not a coffee drinker. But I saw they had a few tea options and smoothies. I tried the London Fog tea. It was very earthy with some lavender, and had a little froth on top which I liked. We only waited a few minutes for our drinks. They had some food options as well. I'll be back try some other menu items."

"A coffee shop and pharmacy as one operation? Beam me up Scotty! Or better yet, what in the world did Daily Dose put in my white chocolate latte to make me like Monin syrup? I came in this shop feeling ok but left extremely happy! Could it have been some form of contribution from the Medtown Pharmacy on the other side of the shop? I'm just kidding but it was great to find a new coffee shop stop other than my usual Brass Tacks and Elliano's (both of which are outstanding). And the tiramisu we had with our lattes was fab too! I have to say I liked Daily Dose Craft Bar immediately upon walking in as a fabulous barista, Melia, gave me the most enthusiastic greeting I've ever had in a coffee outlet. We got to talking about their menu and I was stuck between white and dark chocolate lattes when I discovered they used Monin syrups in their lattes at Daily Dose. That was kind of a downer and Monin has not been my fave among the latte syrups, though I can tolerate it. But I gave it another try by ordering a white chocolate latte. Well the magic formula that got me loving this latte even with Monin in it was 16 oz latte with 3 pumps of syrup - and bingo! All my fears of Monin syrup were gone! Yes, it was very good and worth every cent - and the tiramisu, along with the other pastries are awesome here. I have to thank Melia for the excellent service and interest in what I had to say about other coffee shops I've been to in other parts of the country. It's good to have an open set of ears at times that wants to learn and find ways to improve their product. As far as Daily Dose and Medtown Pharmacy being under one banner and space, yes, get used to the two being linked inside the second you walk in. I wondered if this could work and how, but it really does. People do get their medications here and people come in and get coffee - some do both. The seating types are varied - wooden tables, couches and other upholstered chairs are available. I really came to like this coffee shop! Well, it was truly something new in the truest sense! And I left wondering why I was so happy when I left - well again - there is a pharmacy on the other side of the shop! Go visit here - it's worth it and I'm excited there will soon be a Yelp event here - this shop needs more attention!Recommend: VERY HIGH!"

The bakery is located on Beach Blvd (very close to Southern Grounds in San Marco surprisingly) and has a few parking spots in front, and more on the side. There was only one other person in the cafe when I arrived, but more people came while we were eating. I browsed the menu and couldn't decide between breakfast or lunch. They are super limited on veggie friendly entrees, so I went with the avocado toast (that comes with an over easy egg on top and a side salad). The portion was huge, and it was DELICIOUS! Loved the bread that the toast came on. I would like to get a big salad if they offered a vegetarian one or shrimp or salmon as a protein option. I got my favorite pumpkin muffin to go. The ambiance is cute and it's a really nice place to work on your laptop. I will visit again. Great little breakfast/lunch spot near San Marco!"
