"We've ordered from here twice in the last week. That's how good it is. From a Chinese standpoint, my husband says it's one of the best he's ever had. His favorite is General Tso and he savored every bite each time. I got sushi the first time we ordered it and it was phenomenal. I've NEVER encountered a restaurant that does delivery and serves both Chinese and Japanese food. This was a big seller for us. I don't like Chinese and my husband loves it. The hibachi was def not the quality I was used to, which is why I knock off a star. Not worth the money. Good concept though. Will stick with the sushi and Chinese. They threw in a free sushi roll last time, which was so awesome and tons of fortune cookies which my son loves! Delivery was fast and Efficient."
"There's not much going on for Chinese Food on the northside, but sun sun is actually decent for what it is. My go-to is general tso chicken and I ask for it to be extra spicy each time, and they do well with that. I usually just play safe and this menu item doesn't disappoint. Service for me has never been an issue, however, one time the person handling phone calls and the register was talking trash about the person on the phone, lol."
"Ordered dinner for pickup; due to the pandemic, orders have to be called in and picked up at the window, which I totally understand. The person who took the order over the phone seemed pleasant. Not the most hospitable service at pickup, but there was no rudeness. We ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll; mixed veggies with white rice; spring rolls; cheese wontons. The food was hot and fresh, and very good; the portions were sizeable."
"Quick grab and go meals that are pretty delicious. We got some takeout for a birthday celebration (noodles for long life) - hehe. We were out all day so didn't have time to cook. Glad there are places like this to grab something to feed the whole clan! And prices are pretty decent and the staff was very nice. We went with:- beef with broccoli - chicken Mei fun (thin rice noodles) x2- shrimp egg foo young- shrimp fried rice x2 Thanks, Choi's!"
"New Years evening, and hung over from the festivities I just wanted vegetables! The vegetable delight, minus zucchini add bean sprouts was everything that I needed! The shrimp fried rice is just okay, but I love the steak and chicken wings. The texture doesn't make me second guess life, so I'm a fan! They're always courteous and consistent."
"Sometimes you just crave Chinese food and on a particular night a friend and I ordered from Asian Wok and Grill on DoorDash. We opted to pick it up in person versus pay any delivery fee. I ordered the 3 combo meal with lo mein, bourbon chicken, and General Tso's chicken. My friend got the 2 combo meal with lo mein and orange chicken. Unlike the typical fare you would expect, the bourbon chicken was not anything I'd seen on any Chinese menu before. It had a smoky, savory taste, and it makes sense why so many reviews mention this dish. The portion sizes were good but about typical for takeout Chinese, leaving some leftover for lunch. I would recommend Asian Wok and Grill if you want some classic Chinese with an interesting twist."
"This place has been on my radar to try for a while due to the great reviews and good health inspection report. This place is absolutely worth the hype! It's located in a bit of an odd location, but definitely a gem once you're inside. It's small but nicely decorated. The girl at the front counter was very friendly too. For the food, I was so impressed! Finding good Chinese food can be tough, but this place will take a spot on my favorites list. I got the vegetable fried rice and the vegetable lo mein (pictured). Both of them had a great flavor and were full of vegetables. As a vegetarian, I was happy with the amount of options this place offers! Not to mention, their prices are great for the portion sizes. Overall, I will absolutely be making this place a staple for when I'm craving Chinese food."
"This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant when I lived in the area, today, I had the opportunity to stop by as I needed to run some errands around the place. Omg! All I can say is "this is legit super tasty Chinese food", so good, I couldn't even take a picture. Walked in and ordered, I was told 15 min wait, no big deal, I stoped at Winn Dixie next door. When I event back food was super fresh and ready to take home. The lady up front was super effective and friendly. And this place runs a great operation. You could see three or four people hustling in the kitchen, putting out delicious entrees. We had the steamed dumplings which were delicious. Crab Rangoon, can't go wrong with them. A combo dinner of chicken broccoli and generals tso's tofu, super delicious. Highly recommend you stop by and place some delicious take out, you won't regret it."
"Wow!! This restaurant was surprisingly delicious! I was a little worried because trying new Chinese restaurants can be hit or miss but a local told me this place was fabulous and that they made everything fresh from scratch. It did not disappoint at all. They also do delivery. I drove there because the resort food is so overpriced and their prices are very affordable.. They had Tons of lunch specials to chose from for under $7. The shrimp egg roll was delicious! Like seriously I wish I would've ordered 2. I also loved my shrimp with seafood. Great brown sauce. The shrimp egg foo young was cooked to perfection as well with a good, heavy brown gravy to slather over it. The orange chicken had just the right kick of spice and the shrimp lo mein was tasty. This is a hidden gem for good eats that are easy on the purse strings. Follow me on ig @sweet_maloy. Bottom line is I would definitely return. #askSweet"
"Recently had a delivery from China Wok. The delivery was super fast, almost like the food was ready to go as soon as it was ordered. The hot & sour soup was pretty good, but had a few too many green onions in it. But the peppery taste was good with the right amount of spice. The crab rangoons fell short. They didn't taste that great; the cream cheese filling was bland, and almost curdled. The sweet & sour chicken was good. The chicken was juicy inside the crispy fried shell; served with hot white rice and sweet & sour sauce. China Wok delivered when needed and overall was good, but there are better options out there."
"We like the restaurant, they offer a tasty selection and quick/convenient delivery service to our home. I've had no issues. The food is always delivered hot, correct and on time. Great value for your money as well..."
"Your good, basic, fresh-from-a-strip-mall type of America-Chinese. Fast, convenient and tasty."

Great lunch sushi specials, very well made rolls. The restaurant itself is pretty small, so if you have a large group it might be a good idea to order to go vs eating in house. They had a steady stream of deliveries while we were there, so they do deliver.

Delicious! I ordered delivery through DoorDash. Sweet & sour chicken, chicken fried rice, crispy noodles and egg drop soup. Enjoyed everything. Nice portions and price.

Ok, before anyone gets all high and mighty, set your expectations. This is NOT a fine dining establishment. This is a Chinese takeout place beside a grocery store. This is not somewhere you go for a romantic dinner or a classy celebration, this is where you go to get decent food for a reasonable price. And they deliver on that! Our party had multiple options - Honey chicken, General Tso, wings, wontons, and some other normal Chinese dishes. They were all okay! They were good for what they were. Period. Try not to look into this review too deep. If you want solid Chinese takeout, then this place will do you right! If you are going to be overly critical about your cuisine, then keep on looking! Then lady who runs the place is very nice and efficient! To those about to dine, I salute you!

Ok, it is like this totally the best cuisine you will find East of the San Andrea Fault. A place I have frequented for the last seven years with great appreciation for the authentic ingredients, freshly prepared, plentiful portions that are sure to satisfy. With the new website that allows you to preorder and pay when you get there makes it very convenient if you don't like putting another CC on you personal device like me. Yes this place is a keeper and worth the drive from ten States away come on it's me would I steer you wrong? A little kindness goes a long way.

General Tso Chicken tasted more like seafood with an extra crisp. There was definitely no separation from cooking the meats from the seafood. I was disappointed since this place came recommended. Maybe an off day maybe not. Not sure if I would return but my other 2 coworkers enjoyed their meals (Egg Fu Yung ) The lunch special with just rice and portion is $5.97, I believe when you add a soup or egg roll it comes to $7.50.They do offer delivery.

I was in the area and was in the mood for Chinese food. This was my first time trying Asian Wok & Grill and I was quite satisfied with my impulsive decision to stop by. At this time it seems to be takeout only, I presume still due to Covid. I called my order in according to the sign and my food was ready within about 5-7 minutes. I think this has to be my favorite style of General Tso's chicken. The breading seemed like it was tempura style as opposed to flour breading that I am used to with other Chinese restaurants. It was thin and crispy and tasted so good! I got vegetable fried rice along with mixed vegetables as my sides, and the veggies tasted so fresh! I most definitely will be giving some of their other menu items a try in the near future!

OMG good Chinese/Asian inspired food in Jax! Yes! Stopped here on my way back to Yulee after visiting the international market-highly recommended! Now this place -I ordered 2 lunch menu itemsGen Taos chicken & sweet and sour chickenThe sweet and sour was tasty and your standard Sweet and Sour - very good The Gen Taos will light your behind on fire. I made a mistake instead of ordering the sesame chicken I got this one and it's 5 alarm hot. It's good but if you're a lightweight on spice-definitely avoid it.Some seating inside and looks very clean. Because of the Halal I asked if the cooks were from NYC and sure enough they are, thus this is legit good Chinese take out-Would I stop here on the way home??? Absolutely, it was that good.

We often order carryout when I m too lazy to cook after leaving work at 7 pm. They no longer make moo shu pork with the pancakes but we are fond of the shrimp and snow peas and beef and snow peas among the many other dishes we've had in the last two years since we moved to the imaginary town of St. Johns. . This restaurant is located to the right of Winn Dixie in a strip center and is very popular among locals. Not fancy and carryout only. My favorite - the egg rolls. I order them when my nearby office goes for lunch. There is one left since I order at least 3. I will have with my left over shrimp tonight since my husband is having dinner with a vendor.

"The food and service are great. The pot stickers are phenomenal and the hot and sour soup is as good as any in NYC. wonderfully nice ppl there. Highly recommend!!!!"
"Homemade teas was really good! I ordered Shrimp and Veggies. I don't like white sauce so she made it with the brown sauce for me. A lot of places over cook the vegetables. I like my with a little crunch to them. It was made just right. Then brown sauce had a nice homemade taste to it. Some places I've been to make their brown sauce a little sweet abs I can barely finish eating it. I ate all of this and will be back for me soon!"
"This place hits the spot when the Chinese craving is calling! It's nice it's only a few blocks away from my house as well! This specific Chinese restaurant is my favorite of its type in the Jax Beach area. I called for take out (was feeling very lazy and comfy on the couch) and was quoted a 45 min wait for my delivery. That didn't seem bad to me for a Friday night. I think my order arrived earlier than that but I wasn't really keeping track. I ordered the fried dumplings, pork egg roll, small egg drop soup and beef with mixed vegetables. The dumplings were great and the dipping sauce was super tasty! I was surprised how good the sauce was! I really enjoyed their egg roll too. I feel like some Chinese restaurants the egg roll just tastes like grease or fried egg roll wrap but this one actually had flavor. The veggies and beef were good and cooked well, not too mushy- more al dente and crunchy which I like because I'm big on textures. I honestly didn't even get to my soup because I was too full from everything else. The portions were huge and I still have well over half my meal left over! Always a perk of ordering Chinese!! I will say the prices have increased from the menu pictures posted on their yelp page. I couldn't find a recent picture of the menu. I was hoping they'd include a to-go menu in my bag but I forgot to ask for one. I took a picture of my receipt to show what my dishes cost. The staff and delivery driver were friendly and I have never had an issue with any of their food, will continue ordering from here when I get my semi annual craving for Chinese food."
"I had the house lo mein. I absolutely love noodles. It's something I try to order from every Chinese food place. It was the best I've had so far so I'm totally sold on China Cafe. The crab Rangoon were crispy perfection. They came out hot and delicious; for the same price you get at more than any other restaurant I've been to. I look forward to trying out other items on the large menu. The only downside to China Cafe is the seating. It's not made for groups and only has small limited seating in front of the counter space."
"This place makes fresh and flavorful food. I grew up in the north east with some great greasy Chinese take out spots. This place compares well but without the grease and fresh ingredients. I like that I can order and pay with Apple Pay on the website and go pick it up. They are always nice and the food has been good. They have nice portion sizes and reasonable prices. They do make friend rice and not that yellow dyed stuff. You could eat there if you wanted they have some tables and a tv with the news on in the corner. This is my go to Chinese take out spot in the area now."
"Thought it was time to try a new Chinese place since I'm pretty picky and been ordering at the same place for years. My daughter said this one was good as she ate here all the time so thought I would give a try. I ordered the chicken LoMein with no vegetables and it was pretty tasty.. not dry. Also had the chicken on a Stick. got 4 of them for 5 bucks . They were okay..needed some sauce maybe.. I ended with sweet-and-sour chicken with rice and it was consistent. I would feel okay with ordering from here again and they were pretty busy so that's a good sign."
"This little spot in Fleming Island is a great break from the ordinary. We had the beef steak pho, chicken pho, and the Chicken and Rice hibachi with steamed broccoli and carrots for the kiddo. The food was delicious and full of unique flavors... I ate so much I went into a food coma. You can order and pickup to take out but if you stay in for table service, the service was excellent as everyone was very friendly and eager to help with anything we asked. We will definitely be back!"
"Hop Shing has been my go-to for Chinese food for at least 20 years, probably longer, since whenever they opened. My three sons are now Hop Shing fans, too! The food is always delicious and fast and very well-priced. The "atmosphere" isn't important as it's meant to be take-out, not a dine-in establishment. Just waiting on my order to be ready, and I'll be happily eating it tonight!"
"We ordered Sesame Chicken the other night, and I had a hard time finding the meat in a lot of the pieces. It was a lot of coating, and not enough chicken. The crab Rangoon is still very good. The wrappers could be thinner, but the filling is delicious. We like broccoli, and attempt to order a side of broccoli sautéed in some brown sauce, but they charge a whopping $13 for this. I understand they have to turn a profit, but that markup is ridiculous and as much as an entree. That being said, it really is very good and tasty. Try it if you're willing to spend that much on broccoli."
"New to area and was told this place was good, it was actually Excellent! Service with Jo was nice and she's very friendly :)Restaurant was clean and families and couples all seemed to be having a wonderful evening. Fish was fresh and delicious. Will be back for sure!"
"I was in town a few days ago and decided to give Great Wall a try after reading the mostly positive reviews.I ordered the Kung Pao Pork lunch special. The fried rice was the best I've tried thus far in Florida. The Kung Pao was very tasty and full of some great veggies.I will definitely be returning!"
"I have been to Lil Wok a handful of times over the years. Well, I should really say I've had Lil Wok delivered a handful of times over the years as I don't believe I have actually been in the storefront. Our options for dinner at home were looking slim and I had a hankering for some Chinese. After reading Shelley M's review, I was curious to try the shrimp with lobster sauce which was definitely an adventure for me as I rarely order outside a set rotation of dishes. I called and placed my order and was told it should be there in about 35 minutes. That was an extremely fast 35 minutes; probably more like 15.To go along with my order (to meet the minimum) I had an order of the Crab Rangoon. Definitely not the cream cheese filled wontons I'm used to from Chinese delivery places. These little flowers of hot filled gooey goodness had a nice balance of crab flavor in their filling; wasn't regretting that order at all. The shrimp were huge & plump & pink. There was plenty of leftover sauce to mix my rice into for a nice side dish. While we typically don't order from here, with my husband's new schedule, we'll have to keep this place in mind going forward."
"Officially my #1 Chinese takeout.Leagues above any other standard Chinese, I was so pleasantly surprised the first time we ordered from here! The first thing that struck me was the plentitude of fresh veggies in the lo mein. The beef and chicken teriyaki stick appetizers are both amazing and grilled to perfection, so tender and never overdone. The fried pork dumplings are also a must-order every time, the sauce is so unique and better than any other dumpling sauce I've had! I always get the Mongolian beef, the large amount of onions and scallions is my favorite part, it's just a touch spicy. The general tso's chicken, sesame chicken, Szechuan chicken have all been delicious. I look forward to trying more items each time but it's going to be hard to stray from my favorites."
"Good food and an affordable price with quantity . I like this place when I'm looking for a quick grab and go meal to take home."
"I wanted to like this place, because it's so close to home. The interior was clean in appearance, the food was ready in a timely manner, and the lady working there was lovely. This was worth a star. The main reason I was there was for the food, and it was lacking in taste. I ordered the beef with mixed vegetables combo. For the egg roll, the wrapper was tough and the filling was dry. My beef in the entree was tender but tasteless and fatty. It was a lighter color than what I am used to beef being. This seemed to be low quality beef. The fried rice was basic. My husband ordered food here this past weekend, and thought the food was not good. Of course, he didn't tell me this until after I had placed my order online."
"3 1/2 stars on Yelp is pretty accurate; 3 1/2 stars from me as well. Orders can be placed via phone, online or in person. My coworkers place an order via phone and the older lady that work there is nice but has a very thick accent, so they had to repeat things several times. I've placed my order online and had no issues. A couple days ago I stopped by because my daughter mentioned wanting Chinese food the day prior. It was a Friday evening and they were slammed; phone ringing nonstop yet my ordered was ready in 7 mins. Well that's what they quoted me, but I think I went back in the restaurant after 10 mins. I ordered a small chicken fried rice, large house special lo mein, fried chicken wings, and wonton soup. The lo mein was very good. Fried rice it wasn't cooked properly (no wok hei) and was very bland. Do yourself a favor and don't get it. The wings were seasoned well be it's sooo greasy. I'm not sure about the soup. My daughter ate it and liked it. Previously I ordered a Hunan beef lunch special. It was decent, really can't beat it for the price of $5.75 which comes with a can of soda. If you pick up your order, you'll have to get one from the refrigerator located in the store. They won't get it ready for you, even if you already selected a soda option during the online order process. They do offer delivery service which is only $1, $10 order minimum. If you order in person, coupons are available in the back of the menu, just mention it to them and they'll apply the free item towards your order. Oh and the brown rice isn't the healthy type of rice I'm used to. Looks like it's white rice with a little of soy sauce for coloring, but none of the soy sauce flavoring. Kind of weird I know, but definitely not the healthy stuff. Basic Chinese counter service with very affordable lunch special with fairly friendly and fast service."
"A great local Chinese takeout (that surprisingly has a number of awards on plaques hanging on their wall). I stopped in last week for the first time, and ordered a trio of dishes for the family that night. General Tso's Chicken is an automatic for me when it comes to Chinese food, and it it's done nicely here. It was also great to see Bourbon Chicken on the menu; and they actually prepare it similar to how you'd get it all the Mall food court (which is classic guilty pleasure for me). And finally I got an order of the boneless spareribs, which were a little different than I expected...not full ribs, but cut up pieces of rib meat. They were ok, but not what I was really craving, so I'd probably skip those next time.Overall it was a great experience - the food was ready and waiting for me when I showed up, and despite being clearly very busy (it was a Friday night) I got a smile from the lady who rung me up. I'd certainly be happy to add them to my rotation when it comes to takeout night."
"I don't know terrific food, excellent service, and a casual vibe. I had the Tonkotsu traditional ramen, and some dumplings. The ramen was well prepared, and those dumplings are amazing. When I go back, I could just eat dumplings as an entree! In addition to the standard iced tea that I had, they also serve boba tea, and sake. There are plenty of non-ramen dishes available as well. Pricing was very affordable at about $20 per person, all in. I would certainly recommend I Noodle to others, and I will definitely be back soon."
"Amazing food, and great value given the enormous portion sizes. The Chongqing spicy chicken is unbelievable and a must order if you like Sichuan cuisine. The Sichuan dumplings are also excellent, coming in a spicy (but not too spicy) chili oil. The only miss I've had here was the cumin lamb, which had no spice at all and was saucy instead of the dry spice I'm used to. The service is very friendly, and they have large comfortable booths. The restaurant is in a shopping center with a huge Asian grocery/market, so fun browsing after you eat."
"Ordering from Little China take-out for 12 years through various ownership. Food preparation and freshness is unequal. Only hang-up, no deliveries until 3:00pm. 5*****"
"The food is good. Today, I got the shrimp foo young, white rice, egg rolls, and sweet tea. You cannot eat in the restaurant after Covid (only carry out). However the restaurant is always clean, smells good, and they get your order right every time. Service is fast and accurate. I suggest calling in your order before going unless you like waiting for your food to be cooked. This place use to be on Atlantic back in the day and I use to skip school and eat here during high school.... Memories...."
"Wow it is so hard to find good Chinese food in Florida. Thank god we tried China 99 it has our vote for the best Chinese food in Jacksonville or St Augustine. Great food decent prices and delivery is fast . Make sure to give this place a try"
"I've been here a few times and each time the food has been prepared quickly, with generous portions and tasting on point. I've tried ordering online but that doesn't seem to go through for some reason, so make sure to call and check if they got your order. Prices are very reasonable. So far everything I've tried on the menu - crab rangoons, lo neon, orange chicken, sesame chicken, chicken fried rice - has been worth the trip here! The food is packaged well, usually in a recyclable box and often get freebies like soda cans etc."
