"Ale soaked wood and the sounds of the sea make this beach bar perfect! Food's good and drinks are cold but it's the atmosphere that will keep you coming back"
"We dined in on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all and we were served quickly. The inside dining area was nice, and there is also bar top seating as well. Our group all got different burgers and salads so we tried a bit of everything. We really liked the caliburger, pulled pork, apple and pecan salad and Greek salad. We also really enjoyed the sweet potato fries that can with a cinnamon sugar topping. The salads were very big and worth the price. They were packed in and delicious. The apple pecan salad was the perfect balance of sweetness in a salad. The caliburger was also great and the avocado with the burger was delicious. We would recommend this restaurant for great burgers and salads."

"The coffee was great, the matcha and the chai tea were delicious. The bagel sandwich, potato hash, soup no complaints.Good quality coffee (Counter Culture) and the chai was made from scratch not from syrups. The blueberry pastry was so yummy! No photos of the sandwiches cause we ate them fast :)"
"On some days the burger is amazing - best in Jacksonville. But on other days the same burger is disappointing. Inconsistent is the word. We've been here many times, and loved it at first. I get the same burger almost every time. I've tried a few others - the fried onion, the hurricane (mac and cheese is delicious), the Carolina (didn't like the slaw). But I'm a classic burger guy, and that's what I usually order. It has been amazing on some days, but not on others. The problem is the patty. They cook their patties extremely inconsistently. It can be way too dense, even lumpy, and it can be served without any sear as if it was not on the stove long enough. Yet other days it is perfectly seared. The difference matters. A burger without a sear is a burger I can't be happy about. Management may want to reexamine the way they run the line - it is not only inefficient but invites a lot of room for error. Avoid peak hours. The wait can be super long when this place gets busy. The loaded fries are awesome. If ordering for two, get a half size, they are gigantic."
"Never knew this place until we made a turn at the end of Girvin and Atlantic and is a bit hidden from the highway.Got the Epik Burger Bricoche Bun, 1/2 Beef Patty with Cheddar Cheese and It was really delicious and juicy. The fries complemented it as well with the sauce. The self-serve ordering screen may take some time as you scroll down the add-ons but the staff is there to assist whenever there are issues and they are friendly. There is plenty of parking and it seemed that the customers really enjoyed their meal as I did at this new burger joint discovery.Definitely recommending Epik Burger and will try the other flavors next time!"
"Great ambience conveniently located between our Ford and Lincoln dealerships. We went back for lunch on a Saturday while our vehicles we're receiving their routine service. Great adult beverages and burgers. Their corn side dish is amazing! I'm able to save half for lunch the next day. Generous portions & great, friendly service. And yes, check out the ladies room!"
"Tasty's remains a solid option for a quick but not "fast food" lunch or dinner. We have been coming here for years and still enjoy it! The staff is friendly and accommodating with allergies. Love the patio area to sit and watch all the happenings around downtown Fernandina. I also love that they offer a Gluten Free Bun! Finally my little boy can eat a hamburger with a bun out at a restaurant. I got the salad today with double beef patties and added grilled jalapeños. It's really good! Make sure to try the crabby fries or tots (seasoned with Old Bay and comes with a side of Tartar sauce... don't knock it till ya try it!)."
"Food was good. And was hot. And didn't take forever 20 minutes tops. Price was ok. Over all better then I expected. Will return again."
"Cute atmosphere and a good place for a quick vegan veggie bowl. Nothing super fancy if you're plant based but it's a nice option that's by the beach."
"Highly highly highly recommend this place! Service is top notch, great drink selection , awesome oysters!! A tad small BUT very fresh and clean Virginia oysters. Didn't hit one of the oyster special nights do they are $2 a pop. We also got the calamari and the crab and shrimp dip. That is awesome!!! Very good amount of fries for the price too! I see another night or two eating here during our week vacation."
"Great for late night eats! After searching and searching around St Augustine for food after 9pm. We asked the locals who directed us to Barley Republic. Glad they did! We got well made drinks, my hubby is a Old Fashion guy and was very happy with his drink. We were excited to get food here! We were told the chicken tenders were delicious not your frozen variety, these were made there and they were!! We got these with some fries. Yum!The place is casual and feels like it fits right into St Augustine's historic vibe. Great outdoor patio.Definitely will go back here again! Thank you Barley Republic for staying open late and serving food! We appreciate you!"
"We are happy returning customers to this great little casual place for great Jax seafood! Good service with a smile. Can't go wrong at Two dudes."

Nice view, good food.We have been coming here for years. This beach side door offers indoor seating with a view of the beach .Prices are reasonable for the beach area. Did you have a small parking lot but is very limited. You must move your car once you are done eating. Nice long bar with TVs and friendly bartenders. This restaurant is a busy spot during the summer months so we can get very packed and loud and noisy but has a wonderful atmosphere in the food is good.

The Urban Bean is my go-to spot for a quick caffeine fix. Their drive-thru is incredibly convenient, but I also love to sit in and enjoy their cozy atmosphere. The service here is consistently fast and friendly. The staff takes great care to be helpful and friendly every time I've visited. Parking is usually pretty easy.Their Breve Latte, that I have them make with heavy whipping cream instead of half-and-half, is simply perfect. It's the perfect blend of rich espresso and creaminess. Highly recommend! Absolutely love the vibe.

Everything from the time we walked into the restaurant, the order, and taste and quality of the food was perfect. I had the East Coast Competition burger and it was absolutely delicious. Lettuce and tomato's were fresh and the Cajun fries amazing. I had two picky eaters with me and they cleaned their trays. I would definitely absolutely recommend this place.

We decided to check out Epik Burger tonight after hearing about them on Instagram. The items we ordered were: The Breakfast Burger (as is), The September Special Smash Burger (as is), 2 Kids meals burgers added bacon and cheese to each, September Special fries (as is) and the Japanese BBQ Fries (as is). We all enjoyed our food. We paid a little over $70 and it was well worth the price. Everything was seasoned and sauced very well! Our food came out in a good time, so I would say the service was quick. The only negative would be that the bathrooms were not very clean, the soap dispenser was empty in the ladies room and the men's bathroom area had a nasty odor. We would visit again, and oder and pick up.

Stopped in at Ford's Garage for a late lunch after negotiating a deal at the dealership next door, all was well but nothing like relaxing in front of a good meal while strategizing before signing on the dotted line. We arrived and was immediately seated with no wait, within moments Kelly our wonderful and enthusiastic server greeted us with a smile and an arm full of menus. This was my first visit to this location but I'm very familiar with their fare, we chose the Smokey Brisket Burnt-end Melt with Ford Tots and Chicken Tenders with Fries - the food arrived quickly after our beverages were brought out and both entrées arrived hot and were delicious. This was a great experience and one I'd repeat often if I were a local, no complaints here only praise...

"Was the food bad? No. Was it great? No. I'd say decent. I totally understand small diner food, but this seemed like that's the image and not the reality. I feel like salt and pepper should at the very least be a minimum, everything was bland. Not bad, just bland. I will say my cheesy grits were just a couple bags of the instant cheese grits. Like I said, diner image, not diner food. Service wasn't the best but to their credit we were there in peak brunch time on a Saturday so I'm honestly not holding that against anyone, it was super busy and I think they did the best they could, which wasn't bad at all. Overall it's just average. Not bad, not good. Would I go back? Maybe. The place looked pretty cool though, walls covered in classic Hollywood decor and my son was pumped about the jukebox."
"The service was slow. We went before lunch time so at first it was just me and my husband. The service was so slow, we've waited about 30 minutes for the food to be served. Also when there were group of 3 that came in sat next to our table, they were also complaining how the service was slow and they ended up leaving. The ambiance was okay, it look just like typical brewery or sports bar. The food was okay, I ordered the Steakhouse salad, there was too much bacon bits. Also the avocado chicken sandwich was okay. The only reason I gave 3 is because the beer I ordered saw the only one I liked."
"Ordered the jalapeno poppers and Meat Lover's Deep Dish pizza. They offer any of their pizzas as a deep dish option. The jalapeno poppers were just as expected; cheesy, spicy fried goodness (is there a bad jalapeno popper?) The cheese is cheddar. Would get again every time. The pizza wasn't the best Chicago-style deep dish (I lived in the Chicago area for 2 years), but it was excellent. The pizza was not pre-cut, which turned out great for me because I live about 40 mins away and my pizza was still pretty warm when I got home. It was VERY greasy (due to all the meats) so if you get a deep dish, maybe pick one with not so much meat. The sauce is also a sweeter marinara sauce. Overall, I would definitely order again (I wanna try their Mac and Cheese pizza)."
"This is a great place to get a burger! I really like that you can customize the burger exactly like you want. And, the fries are great, too. I would definitely recommend."
"The ambience is warm and inviting. The customer service was warm and welcoming.I had a shrimp Po'Boy.The shrimp were well seasoned, plentiful and cooked perfectly.Just the right amount of lettuce and Provolone Cheese. The side order of Pasta Salad was cold and tasty. The Lemonade was good. All this for $ 14.50!I'll definitely be back for breakfast soon!"
"Excellent burger and fries. They put a huge pile of bacon on it!!Other guys eating with me had fish and said was great. Place is very clean"
"One of, if not my favorite food truck in Jax/STA. Every time I come, they consistently deliver quality food and good customer service. They used to roam around there area but they are now parked at English Landing Marina aka Marina Munch amongst a handful of other food trucks. We have been many a time, but this visit (a Saturday), a guitarist/ singer, which was a nice addition. It was buzzing with people but it was still easy to find a seat. All of their dishes are rich and flavorful. They offer different meats and fish (lamb and wahoo for example). Give this a try - you won't be disappointed."
"My parents asked me over Christmas break if I wanted to meet them for breakfast, so since I've never been here, I decided to take the leap.My son, niece, and myself met my parents here for breakfast. It's located in a stripmall on 210. Beware, this whole stripmall has a pretty tight (or at least for me) parking lot, so backing out, can be a bit tight. Also, if you're coming from the Beachwalk area, making a right into this plaza (especially in the morning and around the time the high school is starting can take a bit).Once we parked we entered Cafe Genovese. It reminded me of the little mom and pop diners we had in upstate New York. You def get the small town feel, and based on my observations, they had many regulars. Our server quickly came to our table, handed us menus, and asked us for our drink orders. She was chipper and happy to help. I ordered a pretty standard breakfast: scrambled eggs, toast, home fries, and a coffee. My kiddo got scrambled eggs, toast, and a side of bacon, and my niece ordered one pancake. Our drinks were quickly refilled. The other server was quick to see if we needed napkins, both servers were on top of customer needs. Our breakfasts came out quickly. Every tasted good. It's pretty nofrills, but that shouldn't deter you from coming here.If you're looking for reasonable prices, quick and friendly service, this is the place."
"This place gained new local ownership about 4 months ago ... the result is outstanding... it's a great beach bar vibe and restaurant... they have made it super clean, eliminated poor bar smells that plagued previous ownership reviews...Great menu... outstanding TV viewing... cold beer... and OUTSTANDING food...I had a custom burger with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and candied bacon, cooked to order MR to perfection... side of delicious onion rings... the bacon is ridiculously delicious in itself.. burger was huge, fresh, awesome seasoning, nice large bun which held together well to eat the burger with ease... tremendous lunch and satisfying a hungry guy! They have tons of indoor seating both in dining room and a huge bar as well as a large outdoor covered area... my bartender took extremely good care of me and ensured I didn't have any needs...The new ownership really got it right and deserves great local support... They are also very dog friendly as well.So... go enjoy a great meal and let's keep the new ownership and employees busy... you won't regret it... obviously... highly recommended"
"I absolutely loved this place! We visited the night before a hurricane (when most spots were closed), and it turned out to be perfect. Their beer selection was excellent, and the chicken wings were outstanding - super crispy outside, juicy inside, with delicious sauces. The black and blue burger my parents ordered was a hit, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. All in all, a fantastic casual spot!"
"First visit here and definitely not the last. We were greeted with smiling happy faces. The restaurant felt like we were at the beach. The food came out quickly. The Zion Bowl was amazing. Perfect mix of heat and sweet. Cajun fries were pretty good too. Can't wait to go back and try some tacos."
"We love shrimp shack for the Tuesday Thursday deal. We decided to try the fish kids meal. Not a bad deal but I'd get a different main. Not a big fan of this particular fish. I think it might be catfish. The pics of the other fish look good though. Love the fries and hush puppies too. Good slaw and baked potato."
"I didn't really know what to expect when I parked outside but when I walked into the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. It is a very cool place with a fantastic lunch vibe with cool decor and wall art and a dinner ish vibe! The food was excellent I got two different dogs to try and fries were all really good. The owners were super nice and good at what they do with great service. I'll be back for many lunches !"
"Food is simple but delish. The place is nothing fancy, has both indoor and outdoor seatings. One of the dives that you'd expect to find in a college town. I consider a rare find for a fantastic hamburger. Highly recommended."
"Hopdoddy never disappoints when it comes to burgers! I typically go for one of their incredible burgers, but this time I decided to try something different and ordered the Doddy Melt. While it was decent, I found myself wishing I had stuck with their burgers. The melt was a bit lacking, with the bread coming off slightly dry, and it didn't quite have the buttery, cheesy goodness I've come to expect from melts in the past.On the bright side, their Brussels sprouts are a must-try. Flash fried to perfection, and we opted for the Hot Honey Sage sauce, which is absolutely out of this world. They don't skimp on the sauce either--every bite is packed with flavor. All in all, Hopdoddy remains my go-to burger joint in Jacksonville. I'll definitely be sticking to the burgers next time!"
"Stopped in after a long day on the water and had dinner and drinks with some friends. Had an incredible view from our table of the Harbor and enjoyed watching boats go in and out. There was 5 of us at our table and 3 of us ordered the fish-and-chips entree. The 3 long pieces of Cod were fresh and it was battered well and very tasty. It came with a large side of French fries and fresh coleslaw. I would definitely order this again.Place has a great vibe and many dining seating options that offer incredible views inside and out. They often offer musical events during the weekend."
"I have been trying to get over to visit the Slider Rider food truck for months and today, I finally succeeded! Tucked back on the right side of Zett's Road, it is in plain view with all of the cute designs. The young woman who waited on me, couldn't have been nicer. She had a warm smile and was happy to accommodate any requests. The food is made to order, so it is hot and fresh when served. My favorite item menu was the fries, yes, I said the fries. They are crisp, hot, fresh and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. They were bursting out of the container, so you could easily split an order with a friend. But, fellow Yelper's there is a dipping sauce, that is out of this world. Definitely, cosmic in taste and I couldn't stop dipping. I even dipped my hamburger in some. Next time, I am ordering a quart of their secret sauce. It is delicious! Now, to the burgers. First, you can't help but admire the cute brand logo design on their hamburger rolls. It is the cutest. I ordered the Saturn burger and the Mercury burger. Both burgers have cheese, lettuce, and 2 meat patties. The Mercury burger has an American cheese and a thin crispy onion topping. I actually liked this one best out of the two. The Saturn burger has mushrooms, which I love, cheese and a special sauce. I don't know if it was the cheese or the sauce, but it reminded me of a blue cheese or Roquefort cheese and it had a strong flavor, that I didn't really enjoy. The burgers were well cooked. I think the addition of a slice of tomato or pickle, might help to break up the richness of the burgers. They definitely helped fix my burger cravings. Next time, I would like to try the grilled chicken sandwich and more fries. Those fries are what dreams are made of! Thanks again, to the lovely lady who waited on me, she was a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! Thank you, Slider Rider Trucks."
"I had a really good breakfast at Mel's this morning, walked in sat down and was served with a warm smile. While it seemed the servers were in a hurry everyone was pleasant. After looking over the menu which is new, and a bit different than previous pictures. I guess I should have taken a picture but didn't realize. We had the sausage bread meal and hashbrown casserole meal. Perfect portion size for us and the price was just right."
"Tasty burger joint with a large menu. Many options even for the vegetarian in our group. The staff was very attentive and they customize each burger. So many topping options and sauces available - even some off the wall options like peanut butter and jelly. The floors were a little greasy but overall it was tables were clean. The burgers were good and the draft beer was nice and cold"
"What an amazing find! My husband and I were traveling from Clearwater FL to CT for the holidays and googled locally owned restaurants near us, when we found this gem of a restaurant in a great location! We couldn't have been happier with the service given to us (Abby was our server) and we had the opportunity to speak with the owners Mother, Patty, who let us try your dill fries (yummmmm) Both of our meals were outstanding! My only personal preference would be a balsamic reduction on the Brussel sprouts (again, personal preference) ..they were still yummy ! My burger was cooked to perfection and the Super Rad Salad was a must try! The desserts ...just get them...ALL lolPs....kudos to both Patty and Abby for making my husband a cup of coffee to go knowing we have a long drive ahead of us! We will be back again soon!"
"Pretty good drinks and someone from our group forgot their bag on the counter. Someone unfortunately took something out of it BUT when we went back the manager and bartender offered several times to comp us with a couple drinks for a mistake we made. Very friendly staff and a good photo op!"
"Great lunch spot in the Jax airport terminal. Steak tips and burgers were great. Bloody Mary was truly exceptional. Geoff, our waiter, guided us towards towards the menu highlights. Sure, it's a generic airport bar and a bit bland. Prices are high for what you get. But all things considered, three people are a large, tasty lunch for $100 (including tip). We'll return the next time we fly out of Jax."
"Love this place. Great back yard patioWill definitely be back to check it out again. Service was awesome and bathroom's are very clean"
