"Met some friends here for breakfast and was duly impressed. Their name is a biscuit company but I tried the chicken and waffles and enjoyed it. It's an asiago bacon waffle with lots of flavor and came with hot and tasty fried chicken strips. It's a large portion and I added a side of hot and fresh grits. The dark roast coffee is good too and you can get your own refills so there's no waiting.Service is fast and friendly, you order at the counter, get your own drink, and grab your order when it's ready.I enjoyed my breakfast here and will be back when I'm in town."
"Dined here by myself when in Jacksonville for work, early October 2024. Food was very good, well above even the best chain names, not quite as good as a top flight restaurant but substantially better than I had expected. It was also reasonably priced. I had a surf and turf plate with a chimichurri strip streak paired with a ginger salmon fillet. Tried several of their wines, all very good, to the point that I bought a bottle to take home. They were very generous in allowing me to taste three or four different wines at no cost - something I find frequently in Montreal and seldom in the US. My server, Donald, was outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, responsive. Someone who is very good as his job. Host Sam was very friendly and helpful as well. My only ding was that it was pretty loud, but there were a lot of people there, probably 80% capacity, and that was on a Tuesday night. Good for them for having a thriving business!I liked Cooper's Hawk so much that I actually went back again two nights later on Thursday, as it was my first time in Jacksonville and I didn't know the area that well. It was getting late in the evening and options were getting thinner so I didn't want to drive too far. I don't eat fast food, don't like to go to big chain restaurants if I can avoid it, and Cooper's was only about 7 minutes from my hotel. On my second visit, the experience was nearly identical. The service was excellent; prompt, attentive, and friendly. On my second visit, I had a salad (fine but nothing to write home about), a very good cheeseburger that I enjoyed a lot, and a flight of their wines, which were excellent.Overall, I like Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant very much, and would recommend it for a good meal at a reasonable price."

"Really good brunch spot. Was pretty busy, the wait wasn't too long but you can't wait at the bar or anything. Food was good and it was quick! They had live music on the weekend."
"First time here at Taverna ever and we went for Brunch! The ambiance and atmosphere inside was so cute & cozy (leftover from Christmas) and our server was engaging and kind. The burrata, meat and fig spread were a yummy start....the only dislike was the side of eggs tasting like they were swimming in pesto and barely tasted any egg but all in all still a delicious brunch. I will definitely be coming back for dinner!"
"The service is awesome they welcome you at the door and are attentive. The food is flavorful and delicious. the staff is so attentive. Everything was so delicious."
"Great fast service and amazing Cuban food!!Hands down the best Media Noche Cuban sandwhich...I get it every time! Tons of meat...I also get their Provoleta with Chimichurri, if you haven't had it your missing out!! Enough to share with 4 people or have as the best deconstructed grill cheese sammie ever ha! They also serve great Cuban coffee and empanadas! If you haven't been here you need to try them out :)"
"Amazing little place. One of the best cafes on Amelia Island! Amy Joe recommended the fish tacos and flat bread chicken margarita pizza. Perfect!! Keep it up you guys! Atmosphere is great tucked amongst the old city trees and not a far walk from centre street."
"Hold up, let me wipe the drool off my face. This place is a must-try! The atmosphere is on point and the staff is super friendly. The menu had me like a kid in a candy store and the portion sizes? Enough to feed a small country lol. The biscuits? Flaky and buttery perfection. The sausage gravy? Legit so good I thought grandma was in the kitchen lol. And the chicken tenders? Don't even get me started, they were finger lickin' amazing! Definitely coming back for more ."
"While camping at the beautiful Tomoka State Park, we wandered into town for lunch and found this place on a recommendation of a local. It is a comfy little bar but it has a lot of outside seating ON the beach. Perfect. Our server was friendly, fast, kept an eye on us, top notch. We ordered and shared a conch fritter appetizer: 6 good sized fritters with a zippy sauce. Lots of conch. We also shared fish tacos and upped the fish to Mahi. (extra $2- worth it) 2 soft tacos with a big chunk of delicious grilled fish in each..topped with a sauce and avocado. Delicious, a little messy, but who cares? It came with delicious crunchy fries. It was a delightful time and a great meal. Before tip, it was around $32. We were very pleased with the whole experience. When you go, plan on walking the beach....it will be calling you!"
"Very friendly staff and the breakfast was good with fast service. If you're in the area I would recommend this place for breakfast."
"I came here because it showed up in my google maps search for "fresh squeezed orange juice". You wouldn't think that would be hard to find in Florida but you'd be mistaken! Publix doesn't offer it for sale at all, for instance. I got that juice which was very delicious, and got a traditional American bacon and eggs breakfast with a large English muffin. Indeed I visited twice, ordering the same thing both times. I got my bacon well done, which is how I like it but I am sure they don't make it like that for everyone. Anyway they followed my directions to the letter and I was pleased. The second visit, the eggs and hash browns were slightly underdone but I was still happy. I'd go back again. Oh, and the service is as cheerful and as sunny as Florida itself. So you won't regret coming here at all. Great place. Wish I had one near where I live."
"I had the pleasure of enjoying lunch with friends Sunday afternoon. It was my first time visiting Southern Grounds and the food did not disappoint!I got in line, ordered my food and grabed my number to take to the table. They had a self-service water station. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sauteed onions, mushrooms and bacon. Oh my, I don't think I've ever tasted a chicken sandwich so good! The seasoning was perfect, and the sauteed onions and mushrooms complimented the sandwich so well! For my side I chose the Mediterranean salad and I'm so glad I did. There was lots of indoor seating plus a large patio. The downside was parking. But that is the issue for every business in San Marco. There were a few parking spots right beside the building which were all taken. I ended up parking on the street about four blocks away. They did have another small gravel lot just across the railroad tracks. I learned there's another location in Neptune Beach closer to me. I will be checking out this location soon!"

Just recently had a delightful meal at Maple Street Biscuit Company by Jax Beach! This was the second Maple Street we'd visited, and it did not disappoint! With quick service, ample seating available, and friendly staff, we enjoyed the atmosphere just as much as the food!We both got hot lattes (which were delicious), in addition to the Five and Dime, and chocolate chip waffles! The chocolate chip waffles were both flaky and crispy, while lightly covered with powered sugar, whipped cream, and fresh strawberries! And they were filled with the perfect of amount of mini chocolate chips! Both meals were the perfect size, and we were very happy with another meal at Maple Street - certainly recommend!

We went with friends for wine tasting followed by dinner. It took a while to be served at the wine tasting bar which was a little frustrating but once we had a space we had a choice of 3 tasting menus. 8 different wines to sample, one sparkling, selection of white and reds, followed lastly by a dessert wine. The delay in the tasting session meant we had to ask for our dinner reservation to be put back but that was no problem for the restaurant team. The food at dinner was exceptional! We chose a wine we'd sampled to accompany our meal. They had run out of the crème brûlée we ordered which was a shame but we were served with a complimentary chocolate dessert instead. Price point was good for the quality of food.

Arguably one of the best brunch spots in Jax. Long warm and cozy bar with fantastic drinks and service. Their espresso martinis are a ten-out-of-ten! Their crab cake eggs Benedict are fantastic. If you're a carnivore, check out their hanger steak and eggs; a home run on a plate. If you're in to great food at reasonable prices, Taverna is your go-to!

It has been over 8 months and I have been craving for some Pionono (Argentinean/Colombian dessert) and Guava Cheese pastelito so we stopped by here at EFL and got drinks as well-Café Cubano and ordered myself a Mango Smoothie - very creamy and tasty :)Our server Mateo was very attentive and welcoming. Always a good place to chill as the ambiance and Latin music spreads good vibes whenever I come by.

"Saw Brad Upton tonite at early show. Came early for dinner. Small venue with friendly employees and good food. Had a great time, comedian was great. What was not so great was my husband bought 3 "half price" beers during Happy Hour on a tab, but got charged full price when checking out after the show. No bueno, Cafe Eleven."
"I was really excited to try out this place for a Cuban breakfast, but overall, it was just okay, left a bit to be desired. The food was on the dry side, especially the eggs and the bread, which really needed a bit more moisture or seasoning to stand out. The portion size was decent, and the presentation was nice, but I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor.Service was friendly and prompt, but unfortunately, the meal didn't quite hit the mark for me. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I was expecting a bit more from a Cuban breakfast.Lastly, there was a Yelp check in promo where you get a free pastry with $15 spent. The lady told me they couldn't honor because I have to spend $15 or more. lol. Ok. I attached my receipt."
"I went to have a breakfast brunch with one of my besties. My usual is the iron goat, with a side of smash browns. Today, we celebrated with a mimosa. The fresh orange juice was amazing!"
"This is an interesting place. The menu that is handed to you does not have prices on it. The scan of the menu does have prices. And you can order and pay for it thru your phone. Or you can walk up to counter and order but you get hit with a 10% fee. Either way it is very eclectic style of restaurant. Had the rise and shine breakfast and did the self serve coffee bar with a pretty good selection of regular or flavored coffee. I ordered my breakfast with English muffin. And it was grilled. Very good. Breakfast was very good and people that work there are very helpful. Just a bit different style of restaurant. Still worth going and possibly going back now that I know the routine."
"5 stars for my first visit at Kairos! A local business that has a drive thru?! Yes please! I had an appointment nearby and decided to swing by to pick up a salad. I browsed the menu online before I got there. I tried the Super Food Bowl: Kale, quinoa, sprouts, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, avocado, sweet potatoes & kale dressing. You have the option to add protein, but I didn't. I also tried the detox green juice: pineapple, cucumber, celery, spinach, ginger &lemon. Both were delicious! The woman that helped me at the drive thru was friendly and quick. I had a great experience. I ate my salad at home and saved the juice for the next morning. I already can't wait to go back to try the salmon tacos (when I'm dining in). The store looked super cute from the outside, so I'm excited to check out the inside soon."
"Went here for the first time today. Group of five meant we had to wait a bit for a table. But we had a great table outside. But with the heat we asked if we could move inside and it was quick and efficient. The food was outstanding! Out party all got different things and no one was disappointed. Can't wait to come back. Also love that they have merch for sale."
"I visited Taqueria Cinco with two fellow yelpers Bobby and John after our 20-mile bike ride. The ambiance was enjoyable, featuring music and both indoor and outdoor seating. However, the food did not meet expectations. Specifically, the Al Pastor Taco was overfilled and fell apart during consumption, and the carnitas taco was excessively greasy with minimal pork. The flavors were also overpowered by cilantro, and the sides of rice and beans were bland. Additionally, there were no fountain drinks or complimentary water. Overall, I give this establishment three stars due to the subpar food and lack of complimentary beverages. Sodas and beers were priced very reasonably, but without refills it limited us to just one beverage. I would have given this 2 stars but because of the great service I made it 3. Hopefully I have a better experience if there is a next time."
"I have passed by this coffee shop so many times in a hurry to make it to the next appointment or work related thing. Leap year day, I stopped in! I brought my work laptop with me to stay for a little while, sip, eat, and work. Logging into the wifi here was very easy, and I picked a spot right by the window to work (nice views and lighting) I ordered a small London Fog tea which came with loose leaf tea (not a tea bag) steeped into my cute mug - this really makes all the difference. Thank you sippers for going the extra mile and choosing loose leaf tea. I also was able to substitute the whole milk for oat milk which was very nice. Let me get to this açaí bowl. I've eaten in the next plaza over at Juice Tap; had their açaí bowl over there, & liked it. Since this is a coffee shop first, I wasn't expecting the açaí bowl to be as superb as it really was (at only 8-9 dollars at that too) It was late lunch and I needed something in my tummy. The blend of açaí they make, the heart of what's in the bowl underneath all of the pretty toppings, was So good! Fresh! I had chunks in it (small fruit chunks) from it being freshly blended. The mixture was So creamy too but not overly creamy. They also drizzle the top with some honey which is my favorite part! I was allowed to substitute the blueberry toppings for extra strawberries instead and that really made my day. The fact that I was able to order an açaí bowl under ten bucks - wow! Super grateful for the very reasonable pricing here. But to then be blown away with the quality of this price friendly açaí bowl too - I was kicking myself for not stopping in here sooner, especially since I lived in a nearby apartment complex for 2 years right down the street. Sippers is now up there in my top 5 coffee shops of Jax to visit to either work, eat, sip, or grab something to go. Yall the music - I know that's a random thing to notice but since I was working in here for a couple of hours yesterday, lol, I noticed. First I think it was Christian music; after a couple songs, the main Star Wars theme song came on, followed by Michael buble, and then some smooth jazz or classical music. I was so entertained by the mix up. Star Wars had me cracking up though bc if you have ever listened to the whole thing, that one song goes on and on for an awkwardly long time - I was here for it. This shop stays steady! Goes to show just how many love it. I'm very happy to see this place thrive in such a good location too! The service here was very hospitable. You could tell I was a newbie and no one seemed to get annoyed with my questions on what to order. Parking can be kindive tricky since it's in a small strip with other businesses, but it's not too bad. I waited maybe all of 30 seconds for a customer to pull out of a spot so I could pull in and use theirs. I would absolutely come back and will be!"
"Great food. Fantastic atmosphere. Friendly staff a must stop if your in the area great breakfast to late night snack and upstairs bar area"
"First time trying Bagels R US and it was great! The staff was super kind and helpful as we navigated the extensive menu. While I initially went in with a craving for a bagel I was distracted by a sign that said they had french toast (and I couldn't resist the urge) especially after the young lady at the register confirmed that it was good - and she was right! I honestly wasn't expecting a place that specializes in bagels to serve up a really good french toast but I was proven wrong. It was soooo good and the portions were huge! The french toast also came with your choice of a side of hash browns or home fries. I chose the home fries and added cheese on top (although I wouldn't do that again since the cheese on top was placed sparingly and didn't melt all the way. I think they used sliced cheese instead of shredded and I think they should definitely use shredded moving forward) but the potatoes were seasoned so that helped save it.My friend got the steak and egg bagel and I tried the creme cheese she picked and I can't remember the exact flavor but it was a garlic base and was super good! Everything was great and I will definitely be back - but earlier this time as they were sold out of some of my go-to bagels."
"The service was good - the food was pretty blah. There were 5 of us - we had 4 different orders - 1 was salad (no complaints) but the other 3 were disappointed."
"Was the food bad? No. Was it great? No. I'd say decent. I totally understand small diner food, but this seemed like that's the image and not the reality. I feel like salt and pepper should at the very least be a minimum, everything was bland. Not bad, just bland. I will say my cheesy grits were just a couple bags of the instant cheese grits. Like I said, diner image, not diner food. Service wasn't the best but to their credit we were there in peak brunch time on a Saturday so I'm honestly not holding that against anyone, it was super busy and I think they did the best they could, which wasn't bad at all. Overall it's just average. Not bad, not good. Would I go back? Maybe. The place looked pretty cool though, walls covered in classic Hollywood decor and my son was pumped about the jukebox."
"10/10! The bartender girly Mick was extremely nice and attentive. I work from home so escaping to a cafe with WiFi is a need, and I strongly recommend the local. I was there to see a government liquor license person checking their facility and they did great. Drinks are perfect ratio and they have a large variety of food. Super friendly staff, I'll be back soon!"
"Great food and atmosphere! At Christmas they asked what you wanted from Santa and that's how they called out your order when ready! Nice touch!"
"I've never really eaten at the local, but I saw a picture of fried oysters on top of a Caesar salad and it just felt right. I took myself on a little solo lunch date, but unfortunately that option was no longer available on the menu. But... I had to have something along the lines of it, so I became creative. I ordered a blackened chicken, Caesar salad, and a side of delicious Parmesan garlic oysters. I then placed them on top of the salad & mixed it all up! Oh my my my...let me tell you... chef, skip the shell throw in some garlic butter Parmesan oysters on top of that salad and make it a menu option. It was so perfectly paired with the true homemade Caesar dressing and the perfect crunch from fresh croutons. My version unfortunately was on the expensive side. I could even eat this without the chicken and just oysters on top. This made my whole solo lunch date experience! Vic's Parmesan oyster Caesar salad. Try it. You will not be disappointed! A fun local spot located in the heart of Atlantic beach with a relaxed ambience, full bar, and live music on the weekends! Enjoy!"
"I like this place, but the lack of nutrition information is frustrating. I don't eat out often, partially because I track macros. I'd love to eat here more often but I usually will eat somewhere like Chipotle in the cases I'm eating out instead so I can have some idea of the macros/calories."
"For some odd reason, I have never once visited this shop since I moved around this area in 2005 til this day. My manager was amazed and told me to try it this weekend. And so, I did. Lol.Came here with my sister and the shop was quite busy, but not hectic. Opened the door and smelled the great fresh coffee and bagels. Nice and cute decor and the staff were friendly. We ordered:- Everything bagel w/Lox Spread- 1/2 dozen bagels (blueberry, 2 asiagos, 2 wheats and a garlic) The lox spread was amazing and I love savory tastes. Based on their website, lox is raw sugar cured smoked salmon. This cream cheese spread was also mixed with capers, scallops and a hint of lemon. The family enjoyed the bagels as well. I recommend this place and would love to revisit again and try their hot bagel menu and coffee."
"My partner and I popped in to 43rd Street for breakfast after a grueling 36 hour drive from Utah to Florida. I know, I know! It actually IS crazy, but that's a review for another app entirely.Have you ever been to a place where you can just tell the people there all care about their jobs? A place that operates smoothly without a bunch of flash? That's how I felt about 43rd Street. Very clean and uncluttered, with a definite retro feel. Kinda like stepping back in time a decade or three, but in a nostalgic way. The place was fairly busy but quiet, which I appreciated after 30+ hours of road noise and loud music. We were greeted as soon as we entered and shown to a table with no wait. The hostess (I didn't catch her name) took our drink orders as we were seated--OJ for her and coffee for me--and promptly bustled away to take care of us. Our server, Crystal, was a delight. Efficient, friendly, attentive, all the things one needs to be an all-star server. Our drinks came out quickly, freshly squeezed OJ and fresh coffee, both lovely. I ordered the Firecracker omelette and my partner got French toast with strawberries. We shared a large side of cheesy grits, which I was super excited for. Love me some grits! Comforting, plentiful, and well prepared. Also delicious! I enjoyed every part of my visit to 43rd Street and will definitely return next time I'm in the neighborhood. Check them out, you won't walk away hungry or sorry!"
"Wife and I had no plans on stopping here but were drawn in by the great looking patio and ambience . We ordered Shackshuka and I had the eggs Benedict with pulled pork . The food was fantastic! Delicious to the last bite . Eggs on the Benedict were cooked perfectly and the pork was tasty . Will definitely come again when in St Augustine. Also the French press coffee was rich and dark . Fantastic ! Kat was our server and she was so attentive and gave great service ."
"Best bagels hands down! We got a dozen; rosemary sea salt (the fav), Asiago and plain. Also had to add a half dozen donuts for a sweet treat. This place is awesome and service is great. You need to arrive early to make sure they don't sellout on popular flavors. Also, this is not fast food. They will make your order fresh so that does take time if you are ordering a sandwich. It's worth the wait as it comes are warm and delicious. There is some seating inside and a few seats outside as well. The place is cute, neat and always clean. We typically get it to go and enjoy it on the beach."
"Came in on a rainy Sunday. Restaurant was clean and bright. We sat immediately and ordered some sweet tea. After reviewing the menu we asked our server Rachel and she helped us make our final decision. Rachel's explanation of each item was absolutely perfect! The conch fritter (which was part of the Key West Combo) was absolutely DELICIOUS. My husband sampled the clam chowder and said it IS the best clam chowder he has ever had. Everything was great. If I had to pick one thing that was just ok we would say it was the cheese grits. They were good just not hot. Come check this place out. You won't be disappointed!"
"Food: Beautiful on the outside AND inside. We had the chef's choice breakfast board which is randomized for EACH customer; it's a surprise even for the waiters. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise including crispy seasoned hash browns, oblonged shaped pancakes stuffed with hidden bacon, more bacon, browned French toast, shrimp and grits, and fruits. Everything on the board was exceptional. The only critique I would give are the grits; it needed more salt which I simply adjusted with table salt on the side. Very reasonably priced for the board; $30 and fed 2 people. Service: Standard nice waitress that checked frequently. Ambiance: colorful with the LGBT decor, plants, and wall art (even the menu had some fun LGBT items haha). The only critique I would give is the odor of the place, but maybe it was because we were seated near the bathroom.Edit: forgot to mention I RARELY give 5/5 reviews and I rarely eat breakfast/brunch, but this place made me realize breakfast can be great and not just some generic IHOP or maple street. Please show this local shop some love especially if you stop near the beach!!"
"The ambience is warm and inviting. The customer service was warm and welcoming.I had a shrimp Po'Boy.The shrimp were well seasoned, plentiful and cooked perfectly.Just the right amount of lettuce and Provolone Cheese. The side order of Pasta Salad was cold and tasty. The Lemonade was good. All this for $ 14.50!I'll definitely be back for breakfast soon!"
