"A great Restaurant to eat at. It doesn't matter if you're coming for breakfast or dinner. You can be on property or you could just be driving by. The food is worth stopping at and so much better than fast food or a generic diner. It's very clean and professional. The staff is amazing! I can truly say I recommend it.....and you all know I'm picky ;)https://youtu.be/JppDXeHRHYc. Check it out"
"This hidden gem was AMAZING!! Everything was delicious!! I came with friends and everyone was completely satisfied. We had fluffy pancakes that didn't even need syrup, turkey sausage, buttery soft biscuits that melt in your mouth, & creamy grits (top it with the crawfish pepper jack soup trust me it will blow your mind)!!! We also had the ham and Gouda sandwich that was sooo buttery good!! This is my new favorite spot 5 stars!!! Thank you Ms. Terri, Kat, and JoJo in the kitchen is a bad man!!!"

"Fantastic little jem! Got some steak fajita tacos and el pasture tacos both had outstanding flavor. They offer a really yummy hot sauce too. Wish I had more room in my belly to try more. Very conveniently placed in the heart of town."
"I like this place, but the lack of nutrition information is frustrating. I don't eat out often, partially because I track macros. I'd love to eat here more often but I usually will eat somewhere like Chipotle in the cases I'm eating out instead so I can have some idea of the macros/calories."
"Service was excellent! Food was delicious!Had the spinach salad with fried shrimp. Huge portion and absolutely delicious! Shrimp were perfect and not greasy at all! Loved the dressing!Iced teas were refilled without asking or waiting!"
"I was just passing through town and stopped for lunch. The service was amazing-very fast , and the food was delicious. It's hard to find good Mexican food out here and these guys made excellent carnitas and chicken tacos!"
"I believe a fitting description would be "The Taj Mahal of coffee shops." The first time I came here, I had to make sure I was in the right place, because no joke....I thought I walked into a posh, grandiose hotel lobby. Now don't get me wrong, this is by no means a "snob shop." This is a well-known, established business in the heart of Avondale. I could spend a good amount of time here parked on a comfy couch doing some people watching, daydreaming about winning the lottery, or stuffing my face. Speaking of which....The Noms: From breakfast to brunch on over to lunch....they've got you covered. Come hungry. Those of you that are able to walk right past the mouthwatering desserts and pastries and order a salad....I applaud your restraint. Here are just 2 of my faves, and I have many....The Eggnog Bourbon Cake: I wait EVERY YEAR for the holidays to come around so I can get my greedy little hands on this cake. I don't even bother waiting for this to come to room temp (it's served chilled), I just dive right in, last meal on earth style. The Chocolate Twist: Braided pastry with mini chocolate chips. Flaky on the outside, soft and creamy on the inside. Perfect with a cold glass of milk or a toasty hot chocolate. I got 2 on my last visit and ate them both as if they were calorie-free. Aside from the appetizing pastries, of course, there's a hearty assortment of coffee drinks, wines, gourmet sandwiches, healthier-fare options, Tartines, and even Steak Frittes. Southern Grounds Coffee Shop is indeed a sight to behold, and an experience to savor. So gather up your laptop or the besties and go show this awesome local business some love! Shoutout to the wonderful staff who are always so friendly and patient as I peruse the goodies of the day!Till next time, my fellow Yeeps, SUPPORT your local eats and businesses, and as always...SYOY!"
"For some odd reason, I have never once visited this shop since I moved around this area in 2005 til this day. My manager was amazed and told me to try it this weekend. And so, I did. Lol.Came here with my sister and the shop was quite busy, but not hectic. Opened the door and smelled the great fresh coffee and bagels. Nice and cute decor and the staff were friendly. We ordered:- Everything bagel w/Lox Spread- 1/2 dozen bagels (blueberry, 2 asiagos, 2 wheats and a garlic) The lox spread was amazing and I love savory tastes. Based on their website, lox is raw sugar cured smoked salmon. This cream cheese spread was also mixed with capers, scallops and a hint of lemon. The family enjoyed the bagels as well. I recommend this place and would love to revisit again and try their hot bagel menu and coffee."
"I stumbled upon this cute little coffee shop on my way to an estate sale. First rule about an state sale is finding a hidden gem among the masses. And boy is CFK is a hidden gem. It seems like a family run business and we were given some free treats while waiting in the drive through. The menu is pretty straightforward and I'm shocked at the wallet friendly prices. It is a no frill coffee shop with the essential basics. The coffee was warm like a hug and the banana bread was delicious. It's a drive through, quick and friendly. Can't wait to try it again!"
"Love this place. We come when we are in the area to pick up our pups from Southern Goldens. The buffet is great. The food is fresh and hot. The workers are friendly. When we were there about a year ago they had picnic tables on the porch for outside dinning since we had our dogs with us. Definitely not fancy but very tasty food and a great value."
"Very friendly staff and the breakfast was good with fast service. If you're in the area I would recommend this place for breakfast."
"Amazing food!! Nicole was our server and she was extremely attentive, the restaurant was clean. We truly enjoyed its ambiance!"

Just had dinner with my wife here - shared some apps and had a very delicious raspberry/lemon layered cheesecake (really good). I come here often on business and the bartender is always A+. We sat at a table so a waitress named Pam served us and did a great job - she was rocking some festive flair to boot!

I decided to go here for lunch today on this chilly Florida day. There are so many foid items to choose from. I got lucky and found a parking spot right way. The service here is okay, bit can be slightly slow at times. I was suprised to see that they had coffee today, and didn't have to wait a few minutes. I'm definitely returning here again.

We stumbled on this low-key authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was authentic, Mexican and delicious. The restaurant was clean and we had a beautiful view out the window into the St. Augustine Bay. very pleasant service, value, and exceptional overall experience. Hi Leah recommended.

I come here all the time for their froyo. It's one of the last places of good froyo in town. The original tart is my fave, and I always get it with bee pollen. I also love how they have free syrups for the yogurts.Service is fast and to the point. I've been here late at night before and they were so kind enough to let me stay inside since it was raining hard despite it being after hours. They are so incredibly kind. The small restaurant gives a hippie health food vibes. Which melds very well with the food they sell. They have a selection of healthy wraps acai bowls, etc. Every time I have a vegetarian friend or gluten free friend with me, this is where I end up taking them. It's very customizable for a variety of food allergies. Very food restriction friendly! Overall, it's a wonderful place to go. The only down side is that the tow trucks randomly come by the area to tow you away even if you just parked to eat a small meal, so it prevents me from coming all the time. But that's not their fault. Just be careful, since the towing company likes to pop by the area and tow for no reason. Else, I'd pop by more often.

I can't wait to go back! This little hidden gem, apparently everyone knew about but me. The food was so good. The portions were huge! The service at the bar seats were great! Staff was helpful and friendly. Only con was the weight time to get a table, or to snag two bar seats which we did eventually.

The cutest shop ever! Lots of study and work place! All forms of seating! The food is amazing and they have all you could think of, I prefer the lox bagel or the grit bowl! Even got it to go today, it was great! They are super quick despite being busy 24/7! 7 am is the prime time! They offer online orders if you're in a rush! I highly recommend! This is also the best location if you're trying to decide which shop to go to!

I've been going to Bite a Bagel since it opened. I'm originally from New York and this place is legit the best place in North Florida (possibly the whole south) to get bagels. Service is great but understand they get very busy on the weekend and holidays. So expect to wait. Order ahead because they sell out all the time. My only critique is that for some reason the owners opt to make their ham egg and cheese sandwiches in the New Jersey pork roll style. Go thinner on the ham!

"This is a great little diner at end of strip of stores at corner of baymeadows & southside blvd, across from Publix. I was super happy with my visit, the food was delicious, I almost always order biscuits and gravy when i try a new place for breakfast, and the Deerwood bistro did not disappoint. I ordered the large biscuit & sausage gravy breakfast which comes with 2 biscuits covered with the gravy as topped with 3 eggs and with 2 sausage patty's, i also ordered a side of grits. The gravy was full of sausage and seasoned well served on homemade biscuits that were fluffy, my eggs were cooked perfectly, over easy with runny yolks and the grits were stone ground and also yummy. You order at the front counter and find a seat and are quickly served a fantastic meal, the ladies working there were very nice and attentive, they seemed happy to be there. The restaurant was so clean it shined! Seriously I know this is silly but even the salt and pepper shakers were clean and the table was shiny.I loved everything about this place and highly recommended it!"
"Morning stop otw to the beach. The welcoming vibe and Christian spirit was just what our family needed on our trip today. The doughnuts: apple pie, coconut, glazed and blueberry. The blueberry and coconut had great moisture and flavor, 0 out of 10. The apple pie had delicious filling, but the doughnut itself could have been more moist, surprisingly. The glaze doughnut was a little dense and could use more glaze. We also purchased eggs and bacon, 2 iced coffees and 1 hot coffee. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon just a little salty, but combined with the eggs in each bite they complimented each other well. All coffees were on point!! We'll definitely return and try more soon!"
"Graffiti American Burger Bar is a casual and friendly bar that you want to spend a couple of hours at relaxing and chatting with others. They have good bar food like juicy burgers, chicken wings, etc and a full bar that makes you feel satisfied. Good food for sure! There is a large free parking lot available for customers. I also loved the graffiti on the walls. We ordered chicken wings to go and a tray of some of the best pretzels and sauce I've ever tasted! Yummy! Service was friendly and helpful. We plan to go back next trip to Jacksonville Beach!"
"This food truck is amazing, creative, delicious and really unique... they cater parties and even weddings to customize your tastes!!!! Nik started this idea a little over a year ago and it just gets better and better, the won ton nachos with ahi tuna are amazing... follow the dragon weekly to see where he is going, never a dissatisfied customer"
"Great, friendly service! The owner served us and she was sweet as could be!! Great homemade food!! My husband had gravy with his meal (that he always orders on the side) and I thought he was going to lick the bowl."
"Crab cakes on point yall!!! Nice view... Best damn music playlist ever!!!!! Great prices, super friendly staff. Beach parking, pet friendly Just fun...."
"The grilled chicken salad is so good. Great price too for the amount of food. Easy to order online and always ready prior to pick up time."
"First time going here because we're never in this part of Route 1. We are going to make a point or if being on this part of Route 1 more after eating here. Inside Fionn MacCools is like going to Ireland to eat I'm guessing because Covid canceled our cruise to Ireland and we've never been there. Hopefully there's will be an update on this soon. The service was great and if a Guinness was close to being finished we were asked if we wanted another one. For a table appetizer we ordered the corned beef nachos. That was so delicious that my sons were in super vulture mode and I was ready to see a forking if one took more than another. It was gone in a blink of an eye. What I had was great. I had Bangers and Mash which I really enjoyed. My wife had the Fish and Chips. She really loved her meal. One son had the corned beef which he finished before I finished 2 sausages. My other son had the Turkey Ruben which he said was great with his mouth very full. My other son was still away at college but we plan on bringing him here during break. The meal was great but the highlight of the trip to Fionn MacCool's was the Irish Whiskey Cake. It's a must try. Next trip my wife was already picking the Shepherd Pie as here meal choice because it looks different than the regular way Shephard Pie is served. Can't wait to have the whole family fighting over 2 servings of corned beef nachos next time."
"Good menu selection and nice ambiance. Service was a little slower than that of today's zip zip zip but thought it to be an added bonus not being rushed. The Big Fish Sandwich was gigantic and came with sides and the Smothered Chicken was delicious and came with a salad, soup, and fresh bread. The Fried Green Tomato was unique. The Buffalo Chicken strips were good also. The prices were excellent and we did not leave hungry or unsatisfied and would eat here again. We had to wait a few minutes to get seated but it was under 5 min and our food started arriving in a timely manner. The orders were correct and the food was hot when received."
"I have passed by this coffee shop so many times in a hurry to make it to the next appointment or work related thing. Leap year day, I stopped in! I brought my work laptop with me to stay for a little while, sip, eat, and work. Logging into the wifi here was very easy, and I picked a spot right by the window to work (nice views and lighting) I ordered a small London Fog tea which came with loose leaf tea (not a tea bag) steeped into my cute mug - this really makes all the difference. Thank you sippers for going the extra mile and choosing loose leaf tea. I also was able to substitute the whole milk for oat milk which was very nice. Let me get to this açaí bowl. I've eaten in the next plaza over at Juice Tap; had their açaí bowl over there, & liked it. Since this is a coffee shop first, I wasn't expecting the açaí bowl to be as superb as it really was (at only 8-9 dollars at that too) It was late lunch and I needed something in my tummy. The blend of açaí they make, the heart of what's in the bowl underneath all of the pretty toppings, was So good! Fresh! I had chunks in it (small fruit chunks) from it being freshly blended. The mixture was So creamy too but not overly creamy. They also drizzle the top with some honey which is my favorite part! I was allowed to substitute the blueberry toppings for extra strawberries instead and that really made my day. The fact that I was able to order an açaí bowl under ten bucks - wow! Super grateful for the very reasonable pricing here. But to then be blown away with the quality of this price friendly açaí bowl too - I was kicking myself for not stopping in here sooner, especially since I lived in a nearby apartment complex for 2 years right down the street. Sippers is now up there in my top 5 coffee shops of Jax to visit to either work, eat, sip, or grab something to go. Yall the music - I know that's a random thing to notice but since I was working in here for a couple of hours yesterday, lol, I noticed. First I think it was Christian music; after a couple songs, the main Star Wars theme song came on, followed by Michael buble, and then some smooth jazz or classical music. I was so entertained by the mix up. Star Wars had me cracking up though bc if you have ever listened to the whole thing, that one song goes on and on for an awkwardly long time - I was here for it. This shop stays steady! Goes to show just how many love it. I'm very happy to see this place thrive in such a good location too! The service here was very hospitable. You could tell I was a newbie and no one seemed to get annoyed with my questions on what to order. Parking can be kindive tricky since it's in a small strip with other businesses, but it's not too bad. I waited maybe all of 30 seconds for a customer to pull out of a spot so I could pull in and use theirs. I would absolutely come back and will be!"
"We did a takeout from Magnolia's. The cinnamon roll was delicious. It was cooked to perfection and had real cream cheese frosting with nuts. Very good!"
"I was really excited to try out this place for a Cuban breakfast, but overall, it was just okay, left a bit to be desired. The food was on the dry side, especially the eggs and the bread, which really needed a bit more moisture or seasoning to stand out. The portion size was decent, and the presentation was nice, but I found myself wishing for a bit more flavor.Service was friendly and prompt, but unfortunately, the meal didn't quite hit the mark for me. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but I was expecting a bit more from a Cuban breakfast.Lastly, there was a Yelp check in promo where you get a free pastry with $15 spent. The lady told me they couldn't honor because I have to spend $15 or more. lol. Ok. I attached my receipt."
"Was staying at the hotel and due to weather I didn't want to venture out. Went to the bar and ordered the blackened mahi-mahi. Food came quickly, fish cooked and seasoned well, rice and asparagus cooked to perfection as expected. The whole meal was really good, just a tad overpriced. No complaints but about $10 more than it should be. Had a dessert and I normally don't eat them but the pumpkin cheesecake was off the chain! This was by far one of my favorite desserts I have ever had!!! Bartender was slow to provide drinks to bar patrons as his focus was on the table drinks coming in. He didn't seem to be able to manage both."
"Stopped in for breakfast when in Daytona - such a pleasant little cafe! The place was hopping, but they had plenty of workers, and literally everyone was smiling, friendly, and seemed to be having fun! And so helpful! Cute decor. Extensive menu with reasonable prices. My wife had a skillet and I stuck with pancakes - quick service and delicious! All in all, this is a fantastic little place, and we will definitely eat here again when in town. If you need a breakfast or lunch, stop reading this review and go!"
"Before heading here over the weekend, I read a few reviews both on Google and Yelp. The few "bad" reviews some left were complaining about how big or thick the donuts are, and that made me chuckle. Only because I don't see how that is a negative; to me, that reads as a positive! They are in fact big, dense donuts. If you are looking for a light and fluffy donut, this may not be the donut shop for you. With that said, the donuts were Extremely fresh, and dessert like donuts. I loved "americas favorite" the best but that's pretty normal for me to like the original glazed the most at all donut shops. It's a vanilla glazed donut. The chocolate donut with vanilla glaze was my second favorite, and I'd have to say third was the cinnamon and sugar twist. Shirley took the time to come around to the order area where customers are, and explain in detail each donut she had and what it was like. I LOVED the personal tour of donuts. The customer service level here is a big 10/10. She did explain her chocolate chocolate donut is different from most chocolate donuts at other donut shops and she was in fact, correct. The icing on the chocolate chocolate donut is kindive like homemade cake icing. My grandmother and I used to bake when I was a kid. The icing from the chocolate donut I tried, tasted exactly like the homemade icing I used to make with my grandma when she was alive. It was an immediate nostalgic flavor/memory unlocked. And yes, not the usual icing on a donut but more so icing you may find on a cake. I liked it. It's very rich so the one donut was actually plenty. I cut it in half to eat the rest the next day. Shirley also serves breakfast here. If you are looking for a little more savory to your sweet, you could order both breakfast And donuts all in the one stop shop. I do like that feature. I'm looking forward to trying some of her breakfast options on the next visit."
"Still going strong and loving this neighborhood gem! We're so fortunate to have a restaurant that serves great breakfast and brunch! We have never been disappointed in any dish ordered here. The latest one I tried was the Spicy Jalapeno Shrimp and Grits. Succulent shrimp over creamy, slightly spicy grits. You can enjoy this without the spiciness overtaking the palate. Looking forward to trying another of their delicious offerings!"
"We were in town for a couple days around New Year's, and we went to the beach diner every morning for breakfast. Great food, great staff."
"Glad the put a location on Neptune beach ...the service was amazing the owner was nice as ever . The lunch special was amazing as well food hit my nose soon i opened the door the place was nice and clean the also had special juices which was a plus ...my new lunch spot .. they also have breakfast so definitely trying that"
"Went here on a LoLo from my sister Plenty of seating inside and outside. Gentleman behind the counter who waited on me was very nice and explained their menu. They offer a variety of coffees, lattes and drinks. They also have muffins, pastries and other breakfast items. Not inly a coffee bar but also a place to enjoy wine. The ambiance is nice and shares it location with Mayday Ice Cream. Nice spot to enjoy a beverage and also for morning gatherings and meet ups."
"BREW Five Points gets five stars. I absolutely loooove this coffee shop. Over our 2 day stay in Jacksonville, we came to BREW 3 times. With their coined slogan of "not bad", this spot is definitely not bad at all. It's so good, actually. Great even! We first came here looking for a quick morning pick-me-up and some brekkie. After a search on Yelp, we found out our airbnb was only a short 5 minute walk to get here. With the cooler weather, we had a great walk through Riverside park and to this coffee shop. It's situated in a small little area with Hawkers, fun shops, and the Sunray cinema. It was lively on a Saturday morning with what seemed to be a mix of regulars and newcomers. After looking through their menu, we decided on a some drinks and a kolache sandwich. Everything was so good! From my matcha to the the sandwich, I still dream about both. The kolache sandwich is your style of egg in between whatever kolache you choose. I did the cheese and sausage with a scrambled egg. The scrambled egg comes in a compact, fluffy cube. Perfection. On our other trips back, I always got the matcha and my partner tried their almost everything off their seasonal menu. He even added their toasted marshmallow. This will definitely be a go-to spot if we're ever back in Jax! Until then, I will cherish my BREW Five Points tote. (Yes, of course I got the tote.)"
"A really fun hole in the wall spot. Waitstaff was very friendly. There's very limited seating so you might end up at a table with strangers and it probably isn't the best spot to host large groups. Food was really fun! They have traditional American breakfast dishes and also some Korean fusion dishes. I tried ramyun which I never had before and didn't know what to expect. It was ramen type noodles with eggs, and some veggies. Very filling and flavorful! I had folks approaching our table to ask what I ordered because it looked so good. I'd definitely go again, but be prepared that you might end up with cruise ship style dining where you're at a long table with multiple parties."
"I was down town and decided to stop in grab a sandwich and soup on a cold day fast service and great food"
"We went out for my wife's birthday. We figured it was cold out and the restaurants would not be so busy tonight in Saint Augustine. We chose Sainte George restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised at not only the food but the service. We had two servers Cathy and Sandy who was training. Both paid special attention to our needs and returned to ask how we were enjoying our meals. The restaurant was relaxed and had a great vibe! The table had an adjustable light that you could dim or make brighter. They played slow jazz like music from Gene Ammons. The mood was relaxing. We started out with a cocktail a dirty martini with stuffed blue cheese olives. We both had the chef soup mushrooms with potatoes perfect for the weather and a great start for the evening. I ordered the short rib stroganoff which was delicious and my wife ordered the slow braised short ribs. Both were filling and delicious. We paired it with a bottle of La Crema Pinot Noir. We finished the night with two cappuccinos and a seven layer ganache cake. What a wonderful experience, we'll be back again. We like to celebrate a birthday week instead of one day.....more to come."
